Question

we are purchase the asset on (31.12.2006).its come to the production on 1.1.2007,but here mistakely we are not calculate the depreciation in the month of january, and february-2007 here  are forget about month of january, and februar. now in th month of March we are stay, now we have the calculate the depreciation for the in the previous months i.e january, and february, from inthis moth, i.e(march), is it possible or not? if possible what do.

Hi,
In your asset master in dep area tab page give dep start date as 01.01.2007.
Run the dep thru AFAB in test run if check the amount if will calculate the dep for the m/o Jan, Feb & march but post the dep for jan & feb in march itself not in back date.
