Hi,
I need to know the integration point between Claims and Disbursement of SAP insurance and General Ledger.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi Eli,
This table has been fully updated with all the entries for the subject country. I have recently configured funds management and what happens is that when i activate it, capture of trip data in FI-TV becomes impossible as a result of the error.
When I deactivate funds management, the error vanishes and FI-TV transactions can be done.

Integration of SAP R/3 system with BOXI3.0 and SAP EP

Hi experts,
I have a requirement like getting data from SAP R/3 system and make it as Xcelsius Dashboard.
So i have installed BOXI3.0, SAP Integration Kit, Live Office, Crystal Report and Xcelsius. Then i have followed this blog /people/ingo.hilgefort/blog/2008/09/19/businessobjects-and-sap--configure-sap-authentication . In this blog explined about how to connect BI System but i want to connect SAP R/3 system.
1. What is purpose of Role import option?
2. What is the type of role i need to import for connecting R/3 system?
3. Do i need to create any specific role for this?
4. How do i integrate Xcelsius dashboard with portal?

Integration between Ariba and SAP R/3 4.7

Hi All,
Have anyone implementing the integration between Ariba Software and SAP R/3 4.7?
In my project has using Ariba TIBCO and SAP Adapter as the integration tool that connect to SAP R/3 4.7 Non-Unicode system (using MDM for Thai language).
I found that when I pull data from SAP through Ariba TIBCO and SAP Adater, the Thai character showed as unreadable character like a garbage character.
Please help me.

Business Object and SAP Integration

All,
We've BOJ Data Services XI installed.
Would like to integrate with SAP, does anyone know how or have good information about Business Object and SAP Integration?

If you need to have Business Objects and SAP work together in conjunction you need to have the Business Objects Integration Kit for SAP. Integration Kit provides the database drivers and other features for reporting off SAP.

Integration between third party software and SAP

Hi all,
I have requirement in which i have to integrate SAP with third party software. My third party software will be generating material no as we generate in SAP then after the generation of the Material No by the third party software again i have to pull the material no generated and corresponding information into SAP .Please tell me how to do this as i am new to these concepts and if possible please send links from where i can download study materials.

There are many approches for solving this integration issue:
But before solving this issue there are few questions which need to be known:
1. In what form the material no list is generated? i.e. some flat file, in database table, or shared memory
2. What is the language for 3rd party software? C, Java, .Net etc
3. What is the frequency of material number generation? i.e. is it on demand, batch processing etc
Considering 3rd party software is generating flat file or csv files for material number we can have this integration in
following way:
1. Save file at particular location.
2. You can configure logical path in FILE transaction
3. Write ABAP report to read that file using logical path and file name.

4. Read file into internal table using Link: [GUI_UPLOAD|http://saplab.blogspot.com/2007/10/sample-abap-program-to-upload-table.html].
5. Create BDC recording for MM01 transaction for material creation using Link: [SHDB|http://abaplovers.blogspot.com/2008/02/recording-bdc-using-transaction-shdb.html] transaction code.
6. Using data from internal table and BDC recording create all the materials in SAP systems.
    In this step you need to loop at internal table and fill data variables in BDC recording with the internal table data
    and call the transaction MM01 for creating material.
Above steps are very high level guidelines and it is one way of integration but concept wise more or less integration will be in same way!
You can definetly fine tune it by exploring SAP help!

My understanding was we use Data Integration kit in order to integrate Crystal Report and SAP BI. To create an Universe , we dont need Data Integration Kit.

MS Active Directory (LDAP) and SAP Integration

Hi all!
don't know if I'm right here in this forum, but:
I'm using MS Windows Server 2003 and installed Active Directory as LDAP-System on the one hand side, on the other I'm using a 6.20 ABAP Web AS.
I'd like to synchronize the User Storage on these two systems.
Does anyone have experience in doing this? I'm facing a tricky exception in depth of my customizing too complex to explain right now. The problem concerns the mapping of LDAP-Fields and SAP-Fields.

Crystal Reports and SAP Integration Issue

Gurus,
I am in the process of reinstalling my SAP B-One(2007 A) Server, after SQL Server and SAP Server and Client installtions and its related patch PL10. My machine is fully loaded and to go, but I am stuck with Crystal Reports Basic 2008 installtion.
After installting the below for Crystal Reports:
1) .NetPlatform SP1 setup (dotnetfx35sp1)
3) Crytatl Runtime
4) Crystal Setup
5) Crystal SAP Viewer
6) CR2008_SP3
My integration between SAP and CR are fine but after first log off and log on of SAP B-One.
Shows the below messages:
- "The new version of Add-on Crystal Reports for SAP Business One is
installed. Upgrade the Add-on in the current Common DB."
followed by the below one.
"Wrong Executable digital signature for Add-On".
Any advices on how can I upgrade the Common DB.

Is this issue realted to the previous thread you have posted. It looks similiar.
Re-installation meaning that you had installed aprevious version and now upgrading or is it a full installation.

Informatica and SAP integration

Hi,
I have user manual how to connect Informatica and SAP. There are some examples, like.
1. an ABAP program - generated by Informaticas tool, deployed to SAP, runs on SAP, result is dumped into some file, and then imported to informatica over NFS or FTP
2. by running a BAPI or RFC
3. ALE, receiving or sending IDOCs directly from/to SAP.
And that all is OK, but I'm curious how to connect Informatica with XI/PI? Is there some blog or user-manual, is there some specific adapter?

OSB and SAP integration using XML web services

Hi Team,
We are designing solution for asynchronous and synchronous scenarios integration between OSB and SAP using web services.
Can you please provide some pointers which tells about how OSB and SAP integration works.
For an example:
If we are designing the above scenario between SAP PI and SAP ECC, we know the below communication protocols are avilable:
1.Proxy
2.RFC
3.IDOCs
And also we know how adapters will get connect.
Now ODB wants to connect to SAP to send and receive data. Please help me with information like:
1. Is Proxy, RFC or IDOCs are applicable for OSB as well?
2. How webservice scenarios can be implemented?

business connector has both IDOC and RFC adapters so it can
receive data from SAP (IDOC, RFC), send data to SAP (IDOC, RFC)
and pull data from SAP (RFC only)

either transaction from SAP (for sending IDOCs for example) or you can schedule (via BC scheduler)
an RFC call to SAP that will fetch the data and put it in an XML file

I solved the problem.
It is not possible to view the ebook with IE 7.0. So I removed the new Internet Explorer and everythink is working fine.

Cannot start widget - Ensure that SAP Business One Integration Service and SAP Business One Event Sender Service have been started

Dear Experts .
I'm trying to enable widget for my company db but getting the following error :
Ensure that SAP Business One Integration Service and SAP Business One Event Sender Service have been started; then wait 1 minute and try again
I can connect to the B1iF locally and remotely .
I have the db configured in the SLD and connects successfully .
I have the event sender service and proxy started and configured for the company db.
I can access the Dashboard web portal and login with database sap credentials (but I see nothing there)
I've checked that there are no duplicate entries in the SSLD table for SBO common (note : 1619422)
I've also tried to re-activate the xelcious from the B1iF->control.
My Setup :
I'm runing SBO server, B1iF installed locally and B1iSN installed on a 3rd party server.
I'm using B1iF as even forwarder for B1iSN.
I know this has been discussed many times through out the forum and I've tried most of the stuff other than clean install.
I would appreciate any input before removing B1iF completely and re-installing.
