FI Business Content Infocubes

Hi,
I want to know which Infocubes in Business content are used for FI, CO, MM and SD typically in companies. I cannot get this realtime info from documentation..Please help.

Error in Activating the Business Content Infocube 0CRM_C08

Hi Experts,
when iam trying to activating the business content infocube 0CRM_C08
iam getting few errors
Error-1:- Characteristic 0COUNTY_CDE is still being used as target of transfer rule ZCOUNTY_TEXT
Error-2:- Char. 0CRM_OBTYP3 is exclusively an attribute (cannot be a navigation attribute)
Error-3:- Authorization field CRM_SALORG still being used in authorization objects
Error-4:- Cannot delete authorization field of InfoObject 0CRM_SALORG
Error-5:- InfoObject ZDGTDCODE is used in transfer rules (1CL_OMAT001_BB) of characteristic 0MATERIA
Can anyone please clarify regarding these kind of errors.
What i have to do for make a successfull activation

Hi Raj,
I have searched for those objects in the BI content for activating those objects, but those objects are not available in the BI content.
In general while activating the info cube if any object is in inactive means we will activate the object seperatly and we will activate the info cube it will resolve the issue. but here those 0DB-- objects are not available in the BI content.
While activating the sales and inventory info cube it was throughing the short dump, In the short dump it is showing these message.
ASSIGN_LENGTH_0 " "
SAPLSNR3 or "LSNR3F01"
LOCAL_BUFFER
please treat this as urgent.

Modification of business content infocube

Hi,
Suppose the requirement needs one more field in the business content infocube 0PA_C01. Do I need to change the infocube or copy this infocube to another and make the appropriate changes in the new one. If I modify 0PA_C01 what will be the upgrade implications.

Objects don't exits in business content (Infocube 0SD_C03)

Hello,
I have a problem. I tried to activate the business content in the RSA1 for the infocube 0SD_c03, and it says that there isn't some objects in the metdata repository.
What can I do???

can u list out the object.does it start with 0DB_* ,then just ignore it and install.Check the source sytem u have checked while collectig the infocube.

Hello all,
I need some help with analyzing enquiries from SD module. Can anybody send me the links to some resources where I can find list of business content SD Infocubes? Is there any infocube for the said purpose? Or are there any infoobjects that can be added to a standard infocube to get this functionality? Please guide.

How can I create infopackages and DTP to load the data from R3 to BI(PSA) and PSA to Info Cube?

Editing Business content infocubes and transfer structure

Please till me how to edit the installed business content cube , update rules and transfer structure.Once installed means where we can see the installed cube.

if you are activating a sd cube it will be visible in sd info area.
but if you want to see it in your own created info area
you have to drag and drop in your info area.
then you will be able to see it there.

BI 7 Service Management Business Content

Hi Fellows: I've never worked with Service Management. I was asked to put together all the names of Standard Business content Infocubes and Queries. I was told by one of the R/3 consultant that I would find those cubes and Queries under QM since the data was to come from Plant Maintenance. Is that right? He listed the following cubes for me to look into
Notifications: 0QM_C10
Notifications - Activities: 0QM_C07
Notification - Tasks: 0QM_C08
Notifications - Items: 0QM__C09
Notifications - Causes: 0QM_C06
Service Orders - OCS_C02
Service Orders - Operations: OCS_C03
Service Orders: Costs and Allocation: 0CS_C01
Simulated Maintenance Costs: 0PM_C05
Budget Data for Plant Maintenance (Transactional): 0PM_C06
Plant Maintenance Budget Data (MultiProvider): 0PM_MC01

Ravi (or anyone else who can answer this in case Ravi is busy): thanks again for answering the questions. I right clicked the infocube 0QM_C10 in the 'BI Content' section and selected 'Display Description'. I then get the detailed metadata of the infocube. Perfect so far. I then click on the link that says 'Network display of the data flow', where I get the detailed data flow and its wonderful. The only issue is that the DataSources listed in the diagram are not listed as the datasources for the Customer Service DataSources in help.sap.com. Any reason for that?
Does that mean I need to activate all the datasources and infoobject for QM and Customer Service under Production Planning?

P.S. for Sayed: if you get a little white blank screen then just maximize it and wait for a short while. Also see if you can scroll up or down. The diagram might be hidden.

Simulate installation-Business Content

When i am trying to simulate installation i am getting error message relating to mainly infoobjects.They are all infoobjects that are already active in the system.
I am trying to activate cube materials stocks/ movement(0ic_c03).I am using grouping "dataflow before and afterwards".For these match X or copy is checked and install is unchecked.
Please help.Points guaranteed.

Rajeev,
Try installing the IO's which are giving errror message first. And then try to install the business content infocube. Also for grouping, try using necessary objects only to make sure that you are not installing stuff you don't need. You can check the dataflow and install components separately.

Unable to Activate Infocube from Business Content BI 7.0

While activating an infocube from the business content I am getting the error "OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED"."The current ABAP program "CL_RSD_IOBJ_VERS==============CP" had to be
terminated because it has come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed."
This is applicable to all the cubes .I am working in BI 7.0.Could you please let me know incase you have come across a similar error.

Problem in Installing/ Activating 0SD_C03 Infocube from Business Content

Hello Friends,
I am installing an InfoCube 0SD_C03 from Business Content in our BW Development environmant. I first installed "Only the Necessary Components". This took 3 hrs. AFterwards I picked "Before Option" and it kept running for 14 hrs, without completeing. In the last I stopped it to minimize the performance impact to anybody.
My question is, do you also face any such problem of installation running for hours and hours? How have you handled its resolution.
Finally, I broken my task into various component and I am installing component by component (e.g. Transfer Rule, Update Riles etc. etc.). But while doing so, human errors are possible and I may miss something. Also we would not like the same activation runs for hours in Production.. So there

Necessary components took 2-3 hrs. I am running "before option" this weekend and will find out Monday. Running on weekend will not impact anybody.
I am communicating with Basis Team and they are aware of this problem.
In my previous organization, even Before Option will complete in 2 hrs (maximum). I guess there are multiple factors for jobs running so slow. Of course, I am following all rules of the Game!!

Check the relevant Datasource for your Infocube in help.sap.com. Install from RSA5 and RSA6 in ECC side.
Replicate in BW and Install your Cube from BI content.
Actually you can check your cube in Meta data repository.

0FISCPER wrong in business content virtual infocube 0FIGL_VC01

Dear all
I would be greatful to get some help on the following:
We use the standard SAP Business Content for SAP FI, which includes Infocube 0FIGL_C01 and Virtual Infocube 0FIGL_VC1. The data is stored physically in infocube 0FIGL_C01. The virtual infocube 0FIGL_VC1 however gets its data from a function module (RS_BCT_FIGL_DATA_GET_VC1 I believe, but I'm not sure), which reads the data from the mentioned physical infocube and appends some content.
In the source system, we recently changed from Fiscal Year Variant K2 to K4. In order to avoid issues in BW, I deleted all data and did a complete reload from the source system. All the historical data in all cubes, DSOs and PSAs is now on K4.
My issue is now the following: If I do a variable for 0FISCPER on a report on 0FIGL_C01, it shows me the masterdata as expected. If I do the same variable for 0FISCPER on a report on 0FIGL_VC1 (the virtual cube), it shows me 3 times period 000.2005, 2 times period 001.2005 etc. In fact, each period is shown two or three times.
I believe the function module from the business content is still reading some FiscYearPeriods for K2 as well. Does anyone know how I could fix this?

Hi,
After changing from K2 to K4 in Source System, you should have done Transfer Global Settings from RSA1 in BI system.
Check the Fiscal Year Variant Settings in SPRO in BI System. Only K4 should be checked here.
