FI-CA version 605 : BRF Trace not triggered or displaying

Hello colleagues,
We are on FI-CA version 605, using BRF for Collections/Dunning (not BRFPlus).
In the Dunning proposal (FPVA), when I click on "Trace Active" and run dunning, I don`t see any BRF trace after the run is completed.
Supposedly in version 605, the Note 1289497 is not relevant, hence I don't have to implement the Trace logic in Events 315 and 1799.
I thought I would check with this group before logging an OSS Request.
Your insights would bre really appreciated.
Thanks and regrds,
Ivor M.

Hi Ivor,
The note 1289497 is not relevant for FI-CA 605. This note is relevant until 604.
BRF is a standard Tool for FI-CA 605 (by using the note 1466868 you can use BRF+ here. See also following SDN paper: http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/b05dcf53-603f-2f10-1e84-f5f90974471e).
You can switch BRF trace in FPVA directly. The standard FKK* function modules for Events 0315 and 1799 should be implemented. You can see the BRF-trace in the dunning history (FPM3) than.
Best regards,
Tomas

  • BRF+ is not working for MDG-F

    Hi Experts
I selected rule based workflow template for OG_0001 CR type ( Creation of GL account).
It seems workflow is not triggered as there is error for one work item: Check If Single Agent-Group Processing
Error in getting proper agent group; no agent group found (Message no. USMD5_SSW013).
I goggled the error and as per it I reactivated all three decision tables in BRF+.
Also I configure the workflow task for component CA-MDG-AF and CA-MDG-FIN.
    Still issue continued.
Can any one throw some high light and fix the issue?

    Hi Sanjay,
There could be a few reasons.
When you are using rule based workflow you must have a Badi for your workflow.Make sure the content in your Badi is correct and activated. Second possibility is that you did not maintain the service in your rule based workflow or filter in your BADI. The 3 rd possibility is that there is something wrong in your decision tables or that you perhaps forgot to activate all the decision tables.
    Hope you find the problem

  • Subtype event not triggering and supertype event triggers twice!!!!!!

    Hi,
We have created a subtype for object bus2030 and also an event created for that. My workflow should trigger whenever an inquiry is created.
I've maintained this as triggering event in SWDD and done type linkage is SWE2 and everything looks fine.
When i simulate or create event the WF is triggered but when create inquiry in VA11 WF does not triggers.
I've checked SWEL for event trace but no event is triggered at all... Am i missing something... I've done almost everything that i used to do...
Even synchronized buffer!!! nothing paid me a solution...
Infact the same was working with 3.1i system but after migration to ECC6 we had to create new WF template for the same Process.
Now I also see that the supertype bus2030-created event is triggered twice but, obviously no receiver type exists. But the zbus2030 event is not being triggered at all!!!!
Kindly help me understanding my mistake...
    Regards,
    PB

Hope you have already set the deletegation in SWO6.
Now, event dont get triggered automatically, jus because they are defined in object. They have to be explicitly published in thesystem.
Check for a suitable user exit in your transaction, which makes use of function module to create the event, from that you know how to proceed.
If you dont find user exit, try other triggering techniques such as change documents, logistics, BTEs... etc.

  • BSEG.CREATED event not triggering when a document is posted in FB60

    Hi All,
I have a requirement in which i need to post documents in FB60/FB65/FB01 tcode. But when i post the document in FB60 the event BSEG.CREATED is not triggering. I could not see any trace in SWEL. But when i park the document in FB60, FIPP.CREATED event is getting triggerd.
Can anyone tell me why this BSEG.CREATED event is not triggering.
    Thanking you in advance,
    satheesh.

    Hi Viji,
    Thanks for your quick reply.
We have maintained the required configurations in the system related to this. But still the event BSEG.CREATED is not triggering.
for this the alternative solution is to implement the BTE '1030'. But our functional team is asking us to check whey standard business object BSEG.CREATED is not triggering when we post a document. So that particular reason we are not able to find out.
    Configuration maintained.
    1) Created a workflow variant and assigned it to particular company code(OBWA and OBWJ).
    2) Checked the 'Posting' release' and 'Release payments' checkboxes in the OBWA transaction.
    3) Event linkage for BSEG is active.(SWETYPV)
    Thanks,

  • Event not triggering

Ok, so the basic premise is as follows:
I have a control panel with fifteen or so boolean controls.  All of them operate properly, except one.
They all trigger the same event, which uses the event source data to determine which boolean triggers and what to do in some case structures.
All the code operates as it should, except for this one odd control that operates properly the first time it is set to True (default is False).  After toggling this boolean to True, neither it nor any of the other booleans will trigger their events.  They will toggle, the event will take almost a full second to trigger, nothing inside the event structure will occur (the Event Data still appears properly, though), and they will toggle back to the state they were in when the problem boolean went True.
However, I have my sensors update the screen on the timeout, so I know the events are all occurring, just none of the code is executing.
    Any ideas?
edit - oops, forgot to attach.

You should post a simlified version of your problem.
    Many vis are mising...
The simplified version is that a boolean triggers an event, and thereafter that specific event won't execute.  The trouble is that all the booleans execute under the same event case.

    Hi Jeff,
can you upload the missing vi´s?
    Some points for you:
control references don´t need to be closed
in the timeout case, you use the control reference of your cluster and at the end you overwrite the value (what do you make there??)
    Mike
The missing VIs are the proprietary ones
In the timeout, the first missing VI is me reading my various pressure sensors.  The second missing VI is enabling or disabling various valves based on what pressures exist and what valves are open.  However, they are either enabled or disabled and grayed out, so I know that's the not the source of my problem.  Also, if the booleans were disabled and not grayed out, the event itself wouldn't trigger (which it does, just no code executes).

  • Provisioning in OIM Not Triggering

    Hello All
I have an OIM/ORM install up and running with a custom role request module installed. I am able to run the role request and put people into groups as it should, but when people are put into the groups, provisioning is not triggered as it should and the group membership is just changed. i am running the 'Evaluate User Policies' scheduled task but it never completes. if I go to the user and edit the account then save it, all the triggering is happening as normal. I am not getting any errors in the log but I am wondering what could be causing this. Has anyone had this issue or know of a way to resolve this? I am running 9.1.0.2 of OIM. Just raise an SR with Oracle because I faced this issue long back and this feature was not supported with ORM 10.1.4.2.
    It works with ORM 10.1.4.1

  • OPPP change is not triggering planning file entry flag?

We use alternate BOMs for a particular subassembly and depending on requirements
shuffle between BOMs using a different alternate for a certain time period.
However when we change the alternate in OPPP it is not triggering the change in the planning file.
Is there something we are missing here.
    Thanks in advance.

    Dear ,
Frist of all , there is no such cutomisation to have planning file entry of any material.Planning files entries is the first step which checks by the MRP during the MRP run. if no entries are found for the selected parts then MRP will not plans these parts. You can create/check the planning files entries from T Codes-MD20/MD21 even before you creat FG BOM .
Planning file entries will be created automatically when you enter the relevent MRP type (example PD) in the material master MRP1 view. OR when there was a change relevent to MRP like stock change due to moveement type/GR/GI or change in material master data.
MRP does planning file rentry based on the MRP relevent changes like you have FG and valid BOM .Now based on the FG MRP4 BOM Slection Explosion method , MRP will explode the BOM from lowest level and there will be planning file entry while executing MRP on FG based on the FG requirement and dependent relation in BOM .
    In you case , please check the following ;
1.Whether you have kept other alternative BOM status as Inactive-2 Iin CS02-BOM Header -Status long text  and also re-assing this in Routing CA02 with correct valaidty  .Check the validity of the BOM alternative which u have included  for sub-assbly
2.You have all the material master parameters [MRP1-MRP4 view ] all in place specially MRP type PD, Procurement Type E or F
3.Specially ,  check BOM explosion /selection methods in SFG/FG level in MRP4-Sleection methoids should Blank or 1 BASED ON QTY  OR  maintain producxtion version with selection indicator 2 or 3.
    4.BOM should  have usage -1-Production , Status-1 -Active.
    5.Run MRP-MD02-NETCH, 2,1,3,3,2
    Check and come back

  • The older version of Bonjour can not be removed

When installing Itunes, the following error messages appear:
    1) The older version of Bonjour can not be removed. Contact your technical support group.
    2) Itunes installation has been interrupted, please try again later (or something similar).
As a home user, I have no technical support group so I am turning to you, discussion followers, for assistance. I removed Quicktime, Itunes, Bonjour, and all other apple software according to the removing and reinstalling Itunes article. I used CCleaner to remove traces of the programs in the registry. When reinstalling, Quicktime installs successfully, but Itunes installation stops with the error messages above. I have deleted the temp folder, updated windows, used selected startup before installing, and all attempts end the same way. I'm not sure why I am getting this error, when Bonjour is not on my system to begin with. I appreciate any advice you can offer.

    1) The older version of Bonjour can not be removed. Contact your technical support group.
Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing iTunes again. Does the install go through properly now?
(If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.)

  • BTE 1830 not triggered during F110 proposal run

    Hi,
I am implementing 1830 (PAYMENT PROGRAM: Edit Group)  to trigger at the time of proposal run in F110. But it's not triggering at the proposal run in F110.
I have assigned 1830 custom function module to BTE 1830 FIBF > Setting > Process Modules > Of a Customer.
Let me know how to troubleshoot this issue.
    Thanks,
    Ron.

I think you are on the right track.
I figured out the process myself.
In my case I assigned the custom FM to the BTE process 1830 like you did,
and tried to test it in a different Dev client.
But the assignment is stored in a Customizing transport which should be copied to the other Dev client by SCC1.
Long version short: did you check in your testing client if the assignment is visible in FIBF transaction?

  • 925685 - Approval process is not triggered after documents are added

    Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone found already a solution for the following problem.
According to SAP Note: 925685 - Approval process is not triggered after documents are added.
Within our SAP application, we want to approve purchase orders for departments based upon the document total.
I was very astonished that employees are able to add a PO which will not trigger an approval stage and after the document is added, they have the possibility to change the document and at the update moment no approval will be started even if the document meets the approval requirements.
Therefore I really want the flexibility to give users the possibility to change their PO.
Meanwhile, documents which are added under approval, are also locked for changes, although this is another question it is also pretty annoying!
I hope anyone has already found a method or work around for the stated problems above.
(We are using SAP 8.8 PL 20)
    Thanks in advance.
    Kind regards,
    Marcel

    Hi Kambadasan,
    Thank you for your reply
I'm sorry but I know how the approval templates work and they are configured correctly, however as SAP also mentioned in their own Note, this is due to the lack of SBO that SAP has such behaviour.
    Hi Gordon,
    Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately I have not found the post you mentioned...
I will post my issue alson on the topic you mentioned.
Hopefully they found a solution or maybe version 8.81 will solve the problem.
    Thanks a lot!!
    Kind regards,
    Marcel

  • BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST is not triggering while creating/changing PO

    Hi,
    I am new to BADIs,
I am trying to implement BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST in ECC 6.0. I have done the implementation and activated. I kept a break point in PROCESS_ITEM method, but the BADI is not triggering while creating or changing the PO. Please advice me what could be the reason behind this?
I used the SQL trace but i couldn't get the BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST in the list.
    thanks in advance

    Jagadish

    hello jagdish,
    implement   this user exit.....
    MM06E005...
go to     EXIT_SAPMM06E_017   in that   then you can put a break point in the user defined function module.....
    or use
BREAK  'C5133392'  (use your user in place of C5133392)....it will stop here while creating PO or changing PO...
now you can do whatever you want to do in create or change PO using this function exit......
perform the validations on import parameters.....to create  or change ....and activate the project....
hope this will give you some idea and help

  • Migrated BADI Implementation not triggering in ECC 6.0

    Hi Experts,
Need your urgent assistance how to deal with migrated BADI implementation which is not triggering in ECC 6.0. This is for PO (ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST). In the original version (4.6) it was working fine. But when this is migrated to ECC 6.0, it's not firing. Please help to trigger this one in ECC 6.0.
Points will be awarded and thanks in advance,
    LM

    Hi LM,
Can you just paste the code in the BADI.(The method in which code is there)
Is this BADI implemented and in the Active status.
Check in SE19 if the implementation exist or not?
There may be chances that some condition is not met which can trigger this BADI. Have you read the documentation of the BADI?

  • OIM 11gR2 - RoleUser PostProcess Event Handler not triggered

    Hi,
I'm trying to create a postprocess event-handler for RoleUser entity so that when a role is assigned (or removed) to a user an UDF is populated with the list of its roles.
I developed my event-handler and registered it following instructions on http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E27559_01/dev.1112/e27150/oper.htm#OMDEV4749 but the event-handler is not triggered.
I've read and tried a lot of things but nothing seems to work.
I use System.out.println() and a Logger in the event-handler methods as well as breakpoints debugging via Eclipse, all this indicates the event-handler is not triggered.
I checked the event-handler is registered by using getEventHandlers(RoleUser,CREATE) method on IAMAppDesignMBean through Enterprise Manager. Result is :
    Postprocess,-2147483648,PostProcessingInitiation,/metadata/iam-features-request/event-definition/EventHandlers.xml,true
    Postprocess,FIRST,MyHandler,Plugin:MyHandler,false

Note that I dont understand why the handler appears four times..
Also, when I unregister it, it still appears one time.
Here is my event handler XML file (in META-INF folder of the plugin zip) :
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

      LOGGER.log(Level.SEVERE, "Inside BulkEventResult execute");
      // Some code

Maybe I'm missing something ? Any help would be really appreciated
    Thanks,

    EDIT :
Also note that I see these messages in the logs but I'm not sure it concern my event handler from what I read on some pages :
XML schema validation failed for XML eventhandlers and it will not be loaded by kernel.
[CALLBACKMSG] Found 0 possible matches for applicable policies for step POST_PROCESS, entity RoleUser, operation CREATE.
Related link : Post process event handler when a role is created or modified in OIM

I eventually got it working but I'm not sure of how.. !
I changed the name of the handler (it was not "MyHandler" but something very long, I shortened it). I copy and paste exactly what was described here : Post process event handler when a role is created or modified in OIM. I did purge cache. I tried to apply it on another entity (Role), it was triggered, then I applied it back to RoleUser and it still works.
If it can help someone, my plugin zip contains :
    plugin.xml :

Also, a thing that may help some people, I found out that the ORCHEVENTS table in OIM schema contains the history of handlers triggered.

  • Debugging is not Triggered

    Hi Experts,
I've the problem that the Debugging is not triggered. I found your replies in SDN. I tried in all ways that you have specified.
ie: i) From SE80>UTILITIES>SETTINGS>ABAP EDITOR>DEBUGGING--> enetr the username for EXTERNAL Debugging.
ii) Thro SICF ---> Activated the Breakpoints.
        iii) Trying with Trace also.
It doesnt trigger the Debugging. Could you please tell me is there any other way to activate this... or where i may go wrong....
    This is my Scenario...
I've developed one BSP application. Its worked fine in old server. After that i had transport that application to new server.
Thats also done successfully. When i try to debug, it doesnt trigger that...
    Regards,
    Anita.

    Hi Anita,
When you set a breakpoint, you do so for a user (see the message at the bottom of SAP Gui when setting a breakpoint). So indeed, the breakpoint must be set for the same user as the one who logged in to SICF.
If you want to change the user for which the breakpoint is set, then go to menu Utilities->Settings->ABAP Editor->Debugging, and change the value of the Users field with the admin user. The next breakpoints will be set for the admin user, so that when he connects, he will enter debug mode (of course, he must be connected in SAP Gui too).
    Hope this is clear enough...
    Regards,
    Tanguy
