FI configuration print

Hi All,
I would like to know if there is any possiblity in SAP that I can take printouts of current FI/CO configuration and file it for any mishaps in future I can rebuild the FI system based on the prints I have.
Or if there is any procedure to take the backup of current FI configuration and then restore it at any point of time.
Rewards for answers.

client copy is one option but cross-client settings still are affected.  You can take a server backup or Environment clone.

then go to spad and create lp01 and just select what type of printing you want like frontend printing or local printing.
If you select front end prinitng the you can take the print in any system where printer is configured.

  • Configure Printer Port??

I am trying to install Create PDF.  I have reached a screen that tells me to put some information into the Configure Printer Port.  What Configure Printer Port?  Where??

    Hisami,
    I just tried that.
The printer preference on the control panel was set as  "p ortrait", so I changed it to "landscape", but it still created the pdf in "portrait".
So I changed the printer preference, and I checked the printer properties, and they both were set for  "landscape", but the pdf was still created in "port rait".
Is there any other setting , which may be the problem??
    Thank you.

  • Configure printer resolution in Brother DCP-7055

    Hi all.
I'm setting up a multifunction Brother DCP-7055 printer Archlinux, using the official driver, which is installed and running, but when configure print only lets me choose between 600 dpi and HQ1200dpi, when using it under Windows 7 used 300dpi. I wanted to know if there is any way to configure it to accept this resolution.
    Regards.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
    Select
              /var/log ▹ cups ▹ error_log
from the hierarchical list on the left side of the Console window. If you don't see that list, select
              View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar.
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Select the messages from the time of the last failed printing attempt. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
☞ The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of it useless for solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.

  • How to configure printing with apex 3.1.2

I am trying to use Apache FOP with Apex 3.1.2 and I am unable to find the place to configure Apex.
The document I am using is located at [http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/html/configure_printing.html] and the important paragraph is the following:
Step 2: Configure Oracle Application Express to use the JSP for PDF printing
Once you have the FOP installed, access the Report Printing parameters:
    1. Access the Administration Services home page
    2. Select Manage Service
    3. Select Instance Settings, under Manage Environment Settings
    4. Click Report Printing to focus on just the Report Printing attributes
I am trying to locate those settings. In the page with the breadcrumb "Home>Administration>Manage Services" the is no "Manage Environment Settings".
Am I looking in the wrong place? Is there a special user that should be used, like sys?
The installation is an Oracle XE with the Apex upgraded to 3.1.2

You need to be logged in to the 'internal' workspace .

  • F.62 Configure print program

    Hello Experts,
I need to modify the data and the layout of transaction F.62 (Print Journal Voucher).  I have searched information from the web that it is possible to add a custom print program to modify the logic.  I would like to ask what is the transaction code in FI for configuring this Tcode F.62 to use this customize print program. (Like NACE for SD and MM modules).
    Many Thanks.

    Hi,
There is no such type of Transaction (Like NACE) in FI. You need to configure Correspondence settings .
    Path:
    SPRO>Financial Accounting (New)>Financial Accounting Global Settings (New)>Correspondence>
    1. Assign Programs for Correspondence Types
    2. Define Correspondence Types - (In your case SAP09)
    3. Assign Company Codes to Correspondence Company Codes
    Hope it will clear.

  • Configure printer colour setting as grayscale

How to configure the Printer colour setting to grayscale as default option in workgroup manager, i am pushing printer drivers for client using workgroup manager but cant set the colour option

It really depends on the printer and the application used and the operating system.   You might want to save some default layout configurations in the Page Setup and ask your users to use them when going grayscale.  But since not all printer drivers behave the same way, and not all applications offer Page Setup, that advice is only partially true.

  • Configuration printer CANON LPB6020

    Hi Everybody!
Who can help me through with installing my new printer (Laser) Canon LPB6020, please?
I just bought the laser printer CANON LPB6020 in Geneva, in a very famous commercial store. But... Impossible to install it:
    1. connexion USB:  Canon LPB6020
    2. System Preferences / Printers / Add a printer / Canon LPB6020
    3. Canon LPB6020 appears on my Mac screen. I is asked for configuring Canon LPB6020: ... but, LPB6020 software IS NOT in the list provided by Mac.
    IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTINUE !!!
In Canon website, I downloaded the software for Mac, but I can't open it. Mac doesn't allow to open this installer.
I wrote to CANON assistance... and I'm waiting for an answer for long...
If a MAC user can help me please....
    Thank you in advance
    Amelkis

First, in SYSTEM PREFERENCE of my Air Book, for  adding my new printer, CANON LPB6020 (connected with USB)...
In the CONFIGURATION window posts the following remark: "the software for this printer is no available at Apple. Please contact the manufacturer for getting the latest software".
Canon does not provide the CAPT driver used by this model to Apple. So that is why you get the message that you must get it from the manufacturer (Canon).

    I download "Mac_AutoShutdownTool_V100_uk_EN"
I don't even see this utility on the Canon Australia web site but it's not the driver you need. Here is a link to the Canon CAPT v3.66 driver for your LBP6020
    http://support-au.canon.com.au/contents/AU/EN/0100420705.html
After you download this driver and run the installer, you will get many models of Canon LBP in the Printer Software window and your LPB6020 will be one of them.

  • Trying to configure printing preferences

    Need help badly!
We are using Adobe Reader 10 over Citrix and I am unable to locate where the print preferences are stored. Used several registry capture tools in an attempt to identify how to force the "Fit" print option.
Can't find anything on the internet besides a ton of the same question.
Can anyone help identify where these settings are stored? Thanks you very much for your help!

Well I can start by saying that it should never take 2 weeks of searching to figure out how to configure your product. Adobe should be ashamed of themselves. These settings are not even in the configuration guide or the AIM for Acrobat that "supposedly" has all of the policy settings. Theres a bprintCommentPopups but no bprintExpandToFit, oops!
The settings that will force the print dialoge to "Fit" are these:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0\AVGeneral]
    "bprintExpandToFit"=dword:00000001
    "iprintScaling"=dword:00000002
Thanks to my teammate who spotted it in an exported registry file.

  • Configure Print Properties

    Dear Community.
I'm searching for an Report or an Transaction to get the configuration menu like when you like to print somethink out. e.g.:Transaction SM37 -> print out a list of jobs by chosing the print button -> it appears a printer windows where you can the output device and something else -> now go to properties -> here you can chose a lot of atributes which you can use to configure the prints for these report or for other reports and transactions, too.
I know that there is a way over the transaction SU01 (user maintanance) to that the standard output device and some attribute like "printing immediatly",...
But that's not what I want. I'm searching for a transaction or a report which offers me the above functionality. So if anyone knows an answer to my question please write it down here and let me know.
Many thanks in advance and kind regards

Hi Rich. Thanks for your quick answer. I havn't tried this function module before. I've just started it and I saw that it isn't just what I want. It looks like the print menu in our old 4.6B release. But now we have the release mySAP ERP 2004 and the print menu has the (in my first message above) described differences.
Sorry that I forgot to wrote that we now have the new release!
So does anybody know an other posibility?
    Many thanks in advance.

  • Wireless Print Server (DPR-1260) - Manually Configure Printer Port

I am trying to get my DPR-1260 Wireless Print Server (PS) installed, and need help with manually configuring the printer port (per Dlink).
    Status:
    A) Before trying to install the PS, I was able to easily install (2) USB printers, see them, and print to them.
    B) My new IMAC is hardwired to the router.
    *Recent Actions:*
    1) I've worked with Dlink and have verified that my network (my new IMAC, and my wife's wireless laptop (OS 10.39) see the PS (hooked directly to the router). It's IP address is 192.168.0.102 .
    2) I hooked both printers to the PS, and the address sees both printers as installed, and provide with LPR information (both printers are now hooked to the PS). Dlink does not guarantee printer compatibility, but says that since the site sees the printers, gives me LPRs, that the probability is good that they will be compatiable.
    3) My new IMAC sees this address in both OS and in XP (thru VM Fusion). My laptop (10.3x) also sees this address. However, I'm not able to install this printer.
    4) Per Dlink, I need to manually configure the printer port to install the PS.
    5) Dlink kept sending me to the Print Utility, but from what I see, that does not exist in 10.5.
How do I manually configure the printer port to see the PS?
Now, I am stuck, and help?
    Many thanks

As DLink have said, you will have to manually configure a LPR queue to connect to your printers. The print utility in 10.5 is the Print & Fax util in System Preferences. Open this and choose to Add . Select IP and then LPR. Enter the ip address of the PS. Then you will need a queue name for the respective USB ports, such as P1 and P2, or something similar. Hopefully the DLink info mentions this so that you can print to the desired printer.
The final bit of info you will need to know is whether the printer driver for each printer will work in this type of network. If either of them is a Canon then there is a good chance you will not be able to use supplied drivers. These types of connections require a third party driver, like Gutenprint, which is usually installed by default. If you are not sure, then please tell us which brands and models of printer you have.
