I am phasing an error in fi process chain. In fi process chain
there is error in data storedata" generated from LOADINGZPAK_1A2VTWYIMZBOP6NIFTBX7XDX"
Error message which aries are

Data Package 000012
i.e

Hi,
I think you are facing an invalid character issue.
This issue can be resolved by correcting the error records in PSA and updating it into the target. For that the first step should be to identify if all the records are there in PSA. You can find out this from checking the Details tab in RSMO, Job log , PSA > sorting records based on status,etc. Once its confirmed force the request to red and delete the particular request from the target cube. Then go to PSA and edit the incorrect records (correcting or blanking out the invalid entries for particular field InfoObject for the incorrect record) and save it. Once all the incorrect records are edited go to RSA1>PSA find the particular request and update to target manually (right click on PSA request > Start update immediately).
I will add the step by step procedure to edit PSA data and update into target (request based).
Identifying incorrect records.
System wont show all the incorrect records at the first time itself. You need to search the PSA table manually to find all the incorrect records.
1. First see RSMO > Details > Expand upate rules / processing tabs and you will find some of the error records.
2. Then you can go to PSA and filter using the status of records. Filter all the red requests. This may also wont show the entire incorrect records.
3. Then you can go to PSA and filter using the incorrect records based on the particular field.
4. If this also doesnt work out go to PSA and sort (not filter) the records based on the particular field with incorrect values and it will show all the records. Note down the record numbers and then edit them one by one.
If you want to confirm find the PSA table and search manually.
Also Run the report RS_ERRORLOG_EXAMPLE,By this report you can display all incorrected records of the data & you can also find whether the error occured in PSA or in TRANSFER RULES.
Steps to resolve this
1. Force the request to red in RSMO > Status tab.
2. Delete the request from target.
3. Come to RSMO > top right you can see PSA maintenace button > click and go to PSA .
4.Edit the record
5. Save PSA data.
6. Got to RSA15 > Search by request name > Right click > update the request from PSA to target.

I was just executing an initial ods -> activate ods as well as -> further update ods is getting generated and then 2nd ods-> activate ods -> further update ods too.
Why does further update ods gets selected automatically?

My Process Chain errors out in the step to activate the ODS after loading data inot it.
The loading is correct and green. The Activation step errors out .
Can u please explaing me the error messgae what it means & how to overcome the error & correct it ?
I get message like this :

Diagnosis
Request REQU_0WBTMPS7KTKP9BWTZ173XWX3Y, data package 000001 with status &3 in table 'RSODSACTREQ' is passed to the return structure as correct.
System response
The return structure is corrected and the data package is marked as incorrect.

Looks like a request has not got deleted properly from the table :
Options that you could look at :
1. Delete all the data from the ODS and load again ( if that is an option )
2. There are some entries you need to delete from the RSODSACTREQ table- but for this the suggestion would be to raise an OSS note for SAP to look into the same - we had a similar issue and raised an OSS note for the same and then got some notes from sap.
Also please mention your BI version and patch level.

Thank you for your inputs on that....I changed the InfoPackage settings to App. Server and also background scheduling.
Now I get another error in the Load Data process of the process chain. the errors are as follows:
1.Error when opening the data file /usr/sap/interfaces/bw/sv5/GO/Plan/Current Pass/T (origin A) @35@
Diagnosis: File /usr/sap/interfaces/bw/sv5/GO/Plan/Current Pass/T (origin A) could not be opened.
2. @5C@ Errors in source system @35@
3. @5C@ Error 1 when loading external data @35@
The file name is actually TEST12.txt, but I am not sure whether the process chain is actually picking up the entire path or not.
ALso I checked the batch monitor and found that the job is actually running under the user Z_R3USER and this user has the read and write privelges to application server
Can anyone explain wht the problem could be?

Error in process chain pushing step
Hi Experts,
We encountered an error in process chain pushing step. The error is "Process ZXXXX, variant 4UBK25S73O99DNLFQ0Q55EBTY, ended with invalid status". Data is pushing from OHD to PI/XI system. Unable to trace error and even not able to see the variant in PC.
Could any one please give us your inputs on the error, if you experienced such type of error message. Your inputs/suggestions are highly appreciable.

Yes, at source, all requests are available for reporting.
Source is a Cube and target is OHD (DB Table). From this OHD we are pushing data to PI system.
PC flow is: Start--->DTP--->Push Interface. The push interface step got failed.

This message means there may be a load triggered by the same infopackage that may be still running or may be still having yellow status. Go to the monitor screen from this IP itself and it will show the paricular request (it will be the latest one). See if that load is active and running. If its active try to find out if load is happening, if its happening you may let it progress. If its not active you need to force the status to red and delete from the target. Once this is done you can retrigger the load. If its a datamart load you may need to reset the data mart status before the triggering the load.

RSPC chain locked by another user
hi folks - is there a way to get into an RSPC chain (display mode is fine - that's all i need) when another user already has that particular chain open in RSPC/RSPC1?
if someone already has the chain open i get a msg saying:

When another user in the same process chain , you cant diplay the process chain . but you can get the details of process chain varaints and logs through function modules.
But we cant see the process chain when another user in same process chain , if you try to see the same process chain you will get message like ' Locked by user'. Regarding process chain job count , variant , log id and Ptypees details we can see through Function modules.

RR.Just do detail view on in the process chain. It will take you to the error. See the message and then display message. You can know why the message is appearing.

BW: Not getting Dump For Program error in Process Chain
I have one issue regarding Master data loading issue in BW(3.5).
My business flow like we have received data from server A and Server A extract data from Server B and
Server B which is extract data from source(R/3).
Flow like this R/3-->Server B-->Server A(ETL) -
> My Server.
We have a mater data process chain and that chain we have have the source system Server A but in the process chain one process is there which is fethces data like global transport e.g UOM,factory calender etc through Custom program directly from Server B.
Oneday what happened On that process the process chain Yellow since more than 16 hrs.Once nextday process chain trigger the process chain runs sucessfuly.
But lastdays process chain paticular process stills remains yellow?
We are not getting any dumps and even if from Server A there is no logs then anyone could please tell me what is reason and how to solve it.
Note: it will be helpful for me if any one know how to check dump for program errors in Process chain as narated issue.Guys, I am also facing the same issue.

The question is, why the program RSBATCH_EXECUTE_PROZESS is not scheduled. Is it because there is no free resource? Or poor response from SAP ECC?
Finally what does "EXTRACTION OF DATAPACKAGE 000001" mean? Its not scheduled?

Data load Error using Process chain
Hi,
In NW2004s when I schedule delta loads for 2LIS_11_VAITM using process chains, when there is zero delta, the manage screens of the infocubes show green light with zero records correctly whereas the process chain log display shows red. The details of the process monitor show zero records. Is this right? I assume that even if there is zero delta, the log must show green and all the subsequent processes like activation of ODS, deleting of PSA, construction of indexes must be carried out. Please confirm. Is this a bug?

Your question is not clear, can you please tell us at what level the you are getting this perticular error in the Process chain.
To the extent that i understood is that when you try to put the DTP while you create the process chain.
If this is correct then i feel like that you are trying to insert the same DTP twice in creation of the process chain.
And more over change the display to Graphical mode rather that the Netwok mode while you display the Process chain in RSPC T-code.

Error in Remote Chain process type
Hello All,
I have a requirement wherein after one process chain in BW is finished another on in APO server should start.
So i created a remote chain process type.
In the destination i have given the APO system and then name of the process chain from APO system and in the destination for call back i have given BW system.
When i check the process chain, it is giving an error as error in definition of the process chain.
Has anyone ever used remote chain and faced such an issue.

Errors transporting process chains
Hi,
we got some problems while transporting process chains.
The error occurs in the method execution. The transport log says:
Start of the after-import method for object type R3TR RSPC (Activation Mode).
Version 'M' of chain <i><name of the chain></i> was saved without checking.
0 Chains Were Selected.
Message no. RSPC031
Specifying process chain ID <i><name of the chain></i>, type V2&', and variant '' has resulted in the selection of 0 process chains. The selection has been called without confirmation by the user. This means that the user was unable to make a selection.
The function is terminated.
There is probably an error in the program. Look for corresponding notes.
We can't find any notes for this error message. The whole thing is confusing, because sometimes we find the chain in the target system, sometimes not.
Has anybody experiences with this kind of problem and how to solve it?

Did you make sure that you transported all the process variants that the chain is using?
Please, check that by going to transport connection and transporting your process chain.
We always use that method to transport process chains: first getting all variants from the chain on transport connection and putting them on a transport request. Second establishing the start time of the PC and finally activating and scheduling the PC. You then release and transport that order.
Which version is your system? 3.0B?

Error in process chain TRIGGER_BW_CHAIN

I am working with SAP BPC 7.5 NW and I have a issue when I execute a process chain in BPC that call one process chain in BW.
When I execute the process chain from BW (TA RSPC) the process chain finish correctly but when execute the process chain throught DataPackage in BPC the process chain is stoped in one point of the chain. In BW, the process chain do not display error but in BPC the log shows:
An exception with the type CX_SY_DYN_CALL_PARAM_MISSING occurred, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause
Call of the method IF_RSPC_GET_PARALLELIZATION~IS_SYNCHRONOUS of the class CL_RSPC_ABAP failed; the obligatory parameter I_VARIANT has not been filled
Application: MAIN Package status: ERROR

We applied SAP Note to (1420224) to fix this issue. Now I can execute BW process chains from BPC Data manager package using /CPMB/TRIGGER_BW_CHAIN process. From within the BPC Package link, this process starts BW process chain to load data into the DSO which is followed by package to import data loaded into the DSO to BPC Rate Application.
