Fi-gl reintialization.

Hi All,
Fi works on after image delta. I have my intialization done couple of years back. Now i want to delete entire data from the ods and keep only from current month.
Question is if i delete the data from ods and reintialize is will all the record for current month come back.
Or for application like FI do i need to follow certain procedure to do it.

Hi Sachin,
I guess it would be similar to the other delta extractors. When you reinitialize you would obviously give the selection in your infopackage for the current month so there should not be a problem. You may need to delete the delta queue in R/3 via RSA7.
You may wait for some more suggestions beore taking any actions.

Hello Niriksha,
The process chain should take care of this. If the hierarchy infopackage is triggered by process chain after the changes in R/3, changed hierarchy will be loaded into BW. Please check when that process cahin is scheduled to run.

Error while implementing Delta Load

Hello Experts,
I need your help.
I am trying to extract data from SAP R/3 to BI system.
The R/3 system contains data from 1999-2008 fiscal year. I extracted data for fiscal yr 2007,2006 and 2005 successfully and created a delta info package
In the delta info package I didn't specify any fiscal year limit under the Data selection tab.
I started a background job which needs to run daily. Now my issue is the load came up with an error stating time limit exceeded. I believe the number of data packets exceeded. The request showed a warning sign and it got stuck there. I tried to delete that request and consequently delete the whole delta info package and creating a delta package freshly.
But when I tried to start the process of extraction, the following message popped up. Please tell me what I need to next.
Init. select. for field name currently running in request REQU_464F7XQP5TZIEJPIS0MUV32IB
Message no. RSM1070
Diagnosis
Init. selection for field name with the 'From value' and the 'To-value' , is currently running in request REQU_464F7XQP5TZIEJPIS0MUV32IB.
Procedure
Wait until the init. selection is completed; check the load status in the Monitor.

Hello guys,
I tried to delete the delta request by right clicking on the infopack and hitting manage, and then selecting the particular request and hitting delete.
But when I tried to create a new infopack and initialize it it constantly gave me the same error saying that I need to delete the previous request.
There is another place where you need to delete the request from.
You need to double click on the delta infopackage and on the top menu click on
Scheduler > Initialization options for Source System > Now select the particular delta request and delete it.
This solves the problem and helps you to reintialize the delta load using the new delta infopackage

Version of SOA suite is 11.1.1.1.0
This composite gets called only once a day.

lolaDS is our XA datasource pointing to application database.
We can not consistently recreate this error. It happens only sometimes.
It looks when appllication is redeployed or when it goes through reintialization (of application singletons) we have seen this error happen more. We have some application config properties and lolaDS datasource stored in a singleton.

Did you ever get a solution to this issue? We are having a similar problem.

My issue has been resolved, it was related to Support Pack Stack level. I upgraded to SP09 for the following components

(2) Click Java Web Start Administration link in left-hand navigation menu.

Copa extraction is generated application based on the operating concren configured in R/3 system. and same applied to delta process.
R/3 table TKEBWTS contains information about the COPA load requests that have been posted into BW. time stamp entries in this table can be maintained to reintialize the delta. this may be the reason some may call in generic or standard delta.

Help with lag in program

This is my first time posting and I am new to LabVIEW. I took the NI Basic and Intermediate courses and now I am the "expert" at work. When I run my program, the plots are fine but when I start writing to a file there is a lot of lag on the plots. I do not know what the 'actual' problem is and what I should do to fix it.
I created a program to read 12 Analog Voltage inputs and plot them and also write to file.
I am using LabVIEW 11, 32-bit on Windows XP
DAQ Hardware: 0-10Volt signals from pressure transducers -> NI 9205 -> NIcDAQ-9174

Let my make a couple suggestions and then I'll try to answer your questions.
you have almost no code in case 0 its just there to init FP values you may be better served to remove the stacked sequence and replace all code in case0 with a invoke node and run the method "Default Values:Reintialize All To Default" (Select Class. VI Server>VI>VI) if you leave the referance input unwired the invoke node assumes "This VI" and should operate as desired.
Implementing the above- the event loop is allways ready to service events- If you do not chose to remove the sequence structure consider moving the event loop outside the sequence structure.
There is no reason to enqueue default data (might even be bad) push the enqueue inside the case with the DAQ assistant
2) Writing to a terminal, local or value property node does not cause a value change event. VCEs are only generated by user interaction that changes a value or writing to a value(signaling) property node NOTE: Value(Signaling) Allways fires the VC event even if you write the existing value (These points burn developers every day- we almost all have learned them the hard way)
1)This will have to be done by splitting and merging the signals into "channel groups" that can be built into an array

After two years w/o problems, T610 Synchronization Failed ...

For about two years, I've had no problem syncing my SE T610 with Address Book and iCal.
Yesterday, I synced with no problem.
Today, I've been trying to sync and continually get the message:
An unexpected exception occured while synchronizing the device. Device "T610" synchronization failed.
I repaired the permissions and reset the device. Nothing.
Here's what I see in console, but I have no idea what it means:

The easiest way to attempt a fix for your error condition is to launch iSync, open the Preferences… dialog and press the Reset Sync History… button.
Executing that process will not remove any data from your devices, servers or applications, but it will reintialize the truth database which is the central repository for data in the SyncServices framework, and will effectively force a first-time synchronization the next time you initiate an event.
To protect your data, you should use the built-in backup feature available under the File menu of both iCal and the Address Book to back up your calendaring, task and contact records before initiating that next 'first' synchronization event.

Delta loading unsuccessful from cube

hi all,
I am using a delta load from one planning cube to another.When the changed records are of a magnitude of 100 then it is successful but when the records are of magnitude of 100000 then it stays yellow with no data records sent and eventually fails.the packet size is 20000.
any help is appreciated.

Switch command of 2960 switches

I have 1 switch 2960 24TC S. i updated the iOS to 15.0.2 . i want to configuration with the command:
authentication event server dead action reintialize vlan
but the command of the switch show me i can only configure: event fail or non-response

I think the actual deployed number is coming out to 6, but with this customer, you never can tell. :)
I came in to this well after the architecture was planned and sold to the customer, now it is just a matter of making it work.
It should not be too bad, considering the stacks are backed by 10gb uplinks to the core and the port-channels are to bond the ports to the workstations, so at least we are not hanging more switching off of them.

Reload a form

First off, I'm not a forms developer. I've done minimal stuff in this technology and I usually work with Db, Performance, and PL*SQL.
We have an application in 10g that runs in a htmlpage which instanciates java in order to show the form. This instanciation takes some time when invoked. The current solution is to instanciate the window every time a new customer has to be shown. The new customer is found in a different app and then an url to instanciate this window is sent to the browser.
To solve the problem with the time it takes, I was thinking of picking up the data needed from somewhere else than the html header. To se if this would work as intended, I would like to be able to have a button that fires a call that causes the for to reinitialize itself (or reload or whatever the proper terminology would be).
Is there such an API available in forms? Just intialize the form again so all data is brought in fresh without causing all objects needed to be recreated. With object I mean the whole Java part as well as different objects and triggers etc that are part of the forms application.
Does this make any sense at all or am I asking about things that just aren't done with forms?

I think you are solving something much more complicated than the issue I have. All I want is to be able to through a button cause the form to do the same processing it did when first opened. Run the same queries, do the same intializations, place the user on the same tab and so on. Just a pure reintialization of the session just as if the form was reloaded.
How to get the data the reintialized form will work from is a different topic and something I think weäll have a much easier time with and we already know of a few options there.
And yes I have acess to the fmb and can change the code there to anything needed and to add this reintilize button. I just need some api call to make the form run the same initialization it does when it gets loaded.

I need help with Variable Manipulation

I've been searching on google for over an hour and a half to find Variable manipulation. It seems either you know how to do it or you don't. I'm trying to do 3 things:
I want a text box in which I enter text and it manipulates a variable so that when I press enter, the variable becomes that text.
I want to be able to at the click of a button either assign a variable or add to that variable, whether it be incrementing or adding larger numbers.
Finally, I want to be able to reveal those variable either at the click of a button or when the frame of the scene I'm making starts.
Could someone please explain to me either how to do it or where to look so I can teach myself?

Ok...after creating what you are looking for I think your confusion may be in global variables initialization with Director vs other languages. Within Director it is necessary to reintialize the global variable within each script you need to access it in.
So what I have done is create a two slide movie...for lack of better names slide 1 and slide 2.
Step 1: create the PrepareMovie Script - this script preloads the field (text box) with "type your name". In this case I just assigned "type your name" to the playerName global varialble.
On prepareMovie

Step 2:
Place cast members into slide 1
your name - text cast member
fname - field cast member
continue - sprite button
Step 3:
Place cast members into slide 2
verify - text cast member

Dear Friends,
I have developed a screen with table control with 1 column created pushbutton with function code PB%%.
But the problem when i click pageup or pagedown the fcode is reintialize with line number. For eg. for line 7th after page down is showing PB02 instead of PB07.

"skipped resource Rsrc 44549 while importing" error in palm

Hello,
I've tried this on palm forum but get no response so I'm posting here hoping some one will help me.
I've created an application using j2me and it works just fine in java. But after converting it to prc when I want to test it on Palm_OS_54_Simulator I got the "skipped resource Rsrc 44549 while importing" error. The problem is that I want to use a data file in my application (which is in jar and prc file). I can work with images (as resource file) correctly but not with data files even with image extension. Also I got an application which is working correctly on palm device but not working on my simulator and throw the same error.
I'm using garnet simulator.

PS4 Error update 2.57 Su-30631-3 connot complete installation

Hi has anyone been afflicted with this error My PS4 downloaded the update 2.57 but has been unable to install it always stopping at 85%I've tried the reintialize method in safe mode with usb, but still keep getting the same result with the update installation stopping at 85% wiith error code SU-30631-3 I've ordered a New Hybrid 1TB Drive, but I'm hoping that someone has any ideas on alternative means to resolving this error.

No I'm starting to think it may be the actual HDD I've since initialized the system removed the USB attempted to sign in tells me I need to update it. Downloads the update, attempts to install the update and the same error occurs. I've ordered a new SSHybrid drive 1TB. Good thing I had not played much on it as yet. Did not have much save data on it, but quite ***** that this has happened. Something must have occured between the 2.51 update to 2.55 that must have fragged the HDD.
