FI-REFX Add additional validation to monthly posting

Dear,
We would like to add extra validations to the standard posting programs RERAOP/RERAPP (and their reversal programs RERAOPRV/RERAPPRV). These are standard SAP transactions within Real Estate to make (monthly) postings on the contract. Each contract contains a rental object (= the building or part of the building).
An additional validation should be made on the profit center used in the posting (which is derived from the rental object) if the profit center is active for the company code used.
If not active, it should not generate any posting for the contract in which the rental object/profit center is used and generate a standard error log - as done by the default program & give a detailed error message.
The problem is that there is no user exit available/found to add an additional validation or to add an error message to the error hierarchy + to prevent the posting.
We can add the error message to the error hierarchy in display (transaction SLG1), but not in the execution (update mode) of the program.
Can anyone please advice on how to proceed to have this additional validation added please?

Steps to reconst
RERAPP or RERAOP with contract which contains a rental object that is linked to a profit center which is not active for a certain company code.
Error message should be given: For contract X, profit center Y is not active for company code Z.
Indicator should be red (error) and no posting should be made.

Thank you for your idea. Eventually this would be the way to go as the validation I need is indeed based on data in gl_je_lines in status other than 'P' - Posted.
There are several posting programs that are called in several ways.
The posting programs are:
- Posting -- Executable: GLPPOS
- Posting: Single Ledger -- Executable: Posting: GLPPOS
- Program - Automatic Posting -- Executable: GLPAUTOP (this will submit the GLPPOS)
The ways to post journals in GL (except SLA journals) are:
- run the Program - Automatic Posting
- push the "Post" button on the journal entry form
- use the Jpurnal -> Post navigator function
In this case the validation I need would imply the forms customization + custom posting wrapping program.
I was looking for a way of adding one more validation to the standard list of validations for the GLPPOS executable as this is the only executable being responsible for posting in GL.

You can use these solutions:
1) use the fields control (CMOD), insert a new rule that if the field is empty action is disabled.
2) insert a custom validation before the action
3) modify feederclass to on/off the action

BAPI to add additional partner functions in customer master(KNA1)

I wanted to add additional partner functions(2) to the list of partner functions which gets added by default while creating a customer. I am currently using BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEDATA1 to create the customer master. There i do not find any option to add my partner functions.
NOTE: I need to update KUNN2 field as well while adding my partner functions.

Hi,
No you should not feel confident with SD_CUSTOMER_MAINTAIN_ALL.
It is used for only one very special case. The maintenance of consumer. And this should only be true from the transaction itself.
There exists other cases, one of the oldest one is the BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA1. But is is exclusively reserved for SAP Online store.
Despite the fact CMD_EI_API is quite difficult to use, it has the main benefit that is it supported if being triggered directly.
For the maintenance of customers, there is NO BAPI and NO direct function module.
There are some functions modules like the one above where the name is looking nice. But these should not be used.
The only valid solutions are :
Below ECC 2005 (6.00), the only solution was batch input and DEBMAS idocs. See note 384462
Starting with ECC 2005 (6.00) and above: a synchronisation tool has been introduce. See class CMD_EI_API and VMD_EI_API

If you want to add new fields that are not possible from config (check with your consultant) you need to implement BADIs
In SPRO, go to:
>Logistics-General
->Business Partner
-->Vendors
--->Control
>Adoption of Cusomter's Own Master Data Fields
and read the documentation provided there.
You will need to implement following BAPIs
Processing Master Data Enhancements: VENDOR_ADD_DATA
Customer Subscreens: VENDOR_ADD_DATA_CS
I am not aware of any other way to add new fields to Vendor master (however, check with your consultant for config related screen modifications)
Should you need any further info to implement it, post back (read it thoroughly first, it's quite self-explanatory).

Ability to add additional pages to scan is now missing

Hi -
I am using the Officejet 6700 all-in-one printer. When scanning a document, the preview screen of the HP software used to have the + and - signs to add additional / remove unwanted scans. Now, the + and - signs are no longer there. I cannot find any other way to add additional scans to the current job.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like there is a problem with the software. Since the option to add/remove pages is missing, I feel the best thing to do is uninstall and reinstall the software.
Please complete the following steps and let me know the outcome;
Hold down the Windows Logo key () on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box, type %temp%
Delete all files and folders from the temp folder. Choose skip if any pop ups appear saying any of the files could not be deleted
Uninstall the software again - Uninstalling the Printer Software Instructions
When the uninstall has completed restart the computer
Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.
Hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box
In the Open box, type msiexec /unregister, and then click OK.

Extend/Configure VS2013 to add additional Refactoring commands?

Is it possible to Extend/Configure VS2013 to add additional Refactoring commands?

Add additional flexfields columns ?

Is it possible to add additional DFF columns to a table. We need to extend that RA_SITE_USES table which is an oracle shipped table. I am aware that it is against the standards but apart from that is it possible to do it.
I added an additional attribute26 column and in the DFF form when i try to select the column , I do not see the newly added one, is there anything else I need to do .

Rule #1: Don't create modifications unless you really have to.
Rule #2: See Rule #1
Some other people might have more input here too...
First, it might be easier to revisit your existing DFF fields and make better use of them - e.g.
- any that are not user enterable or displayed, push to unused fields e.g. global_attributeXX
- ensure context sensitivity is being used to make best use of available segments.
- combine any related DFFs into one (often in combination with validation sets)
- move any DFFs that are at a lower level of detail to the correct level of detail, eg. if it can be on the customer site rather than customer site use level, move it!
Some updates to DFF fields may be necessary, but much easier than modifications.
Second, in response to your question, I've seen it done, but haven't done it myself. Steps would be something like:
1. Add attributeXX column to base table
2. Add column to view(s) on top of table
3. Register the DFF segment
4. Modify DML handler to add new column
5. (Possibly but hopefully not - depending on implementation of the UI) Modify UI code to handle new column
6. Worry about patches/upgrades wiping out your modification.
Third, You may be able to register another (unused) field on the ra_site_uses table to be used as a DFF field, but not a great idea, as Oracle could use the field without warning.
(Under Application Developer, Flexfield > Descriptive > Register)
Fourth, You could extend the UI to include your own fields - extension or modification but you control it more.

In order to add additional fields to standard report i copied the code into zreport but i am unable to add additonal field into report because the code is looking so complex.

First check whether these three fields are available in the text elements area.
Please write your code in the subroutine %comp_ldesc.
Repeat the code for your three new fields

So this subroutine will give you the basic list. Now Program is creating ALV with this basic list. So I think you don't need to worry about that. Please have a thorugh look at the code over this perform, and write accordingly.

How To Add Additional Fields When Creating New Contact From w/in Mac Mail?

Hi there. When in Mac Mail and clicking on contact information provided within an email, we are able to either (1) CREATE NEW CONTACT or (2) ADD TO EXISTING CONTACT (by clicking on the arrow next to a phone number, address, etc.). If I choose "Create New Contact," how can I add additional fields BEFORE clicking on "Add to Address Book" button in lower right corner? Let's say, for example, I know this new contacts URL or company. (Currently, I am creating the new contact from within Mac Mail and then going to Address Book and finding the contact, then editing, the adding the additional fields, then saving, and then going back to Mac Mail. This all takes time.)
Note: When creating a new iCal event from within Mac Mail, we can click on Option/Alt key when selecting drop-down arrow...and this will allow us to add additional information. The same feature isn't available for address book???

I think you need to show more programs.
you said, the report program is 'RHXPE_EXPIRED_QUALI', but you upload 'rhpk_find_pers_with_expired_qu' program.
usually, ALV field is modifyed in 'PERFORM fieldcatalog_modify', if you use Functional ALV.
Try to search 'fieldcatalog function', you will find easy.

How to add additional lines to the Order Form template?

I purchased and installed Acrobat Pro 9 because of its ability to create forms and found the Order Form template is just perfect for what I need, why reinvent the wheel, right? Except I found I can't figure out how to add additional object that duplicate what is already there. I highlighted an entire row and tried to just copy and paste but the past function put the copied objects at the bottom of the form in what looks like a group, all out of order. I tried looking in the online help for a possible key combination that would inset an additional row of objects but couldn't find any.
Also the form doesn't move down and create a new page keeping all the other elements in line, it moves to the bottom of the current page and stops. Thought the template was based on a table so I was going to insert additional rows thinking once it reached the bottom of the current page it would automatically break to a new page and continue, but it's not a table. So my question is, how can I add duplicate object that match the Order Form templates Item, Description, etc. objects? I've come to realize learning to use this product is not going to be as simple a proposition as I was lead to believe. O well, live and learn!
If someone can point me in the right direction, any help is greatly appreciated.
