FI-SL Boundaries

Hi everyone,
Do you know where I could find documentation about FI-SL boundaries like numbers of tables, how many key fields may I create, etc... ?
Thank you for your help.
Best regards,
G.

Hi Gilles,
Please check following document on SAP help.

  • Multiple Configuration Manager environments, 2 AD sites, and overlapping boundaries

    Good morning all.
    A bit of background before my question, just because it's a little confusing (at least to me).
    I have an environment with 4 AD sites (Alpha, Beta, Charlie, and Delta)  We had, at one time, three separate ConfigMgr 2007 instances (one for each site and none for the remaining one) and it was in general a very bad thing.  It was decided that
    we should stand up a single, centralized ConfigMgr 2012 R2 instance and stop duplicating effort, wasting time, and spending money where we don't need to.  Great!  Everyone was on board except for Delta, who had political objections.  We have
    boundaries set based on AD Site names in the central ConfigMgr environment and everything has been humming along well for the past ~2 years.
    One of the larger groups in the Delta domain have decided that they want in to the central ConfigMgr environment and want to know if it's possible.  This is good for us (more business!) but bad because I'm not sure if it can happen.
    Because of Political Reasons Delta's rogue ConfigMgr environment isn't going anywhere, so adding a boundary based on AD site is not an option.
    Further, because of their network's complexity all of their machines share a number of very large DHCP ranges...so there is no way to draw a dividing line between a machine that should be managed by CM2012 vs CM2007.  Also, politically, that is not
    likely to change.
    The only thing separating these machines from others are OU membership, which unfortunately can't be used to create boundaries.
    I'd love to just throw their ranges into our SCCM, create collections based on their OU membership, and have them set their SCCM site information via group policy to point to ours--but it can't be that easy can it?  I'm at a loss to determine if what
    they want to have happen is even possible, so that's why I'm posting here and hoping that someone might be able to point me in the right direction.  Thank you in advance for your help.

    Thanks for the reply, Torsten.
    Just  create content location boundary groups only in CM12. Don't touch the CM07 ones.
    Auto assignment is only needed when using either client push (using SMSSITECODE=AUTO. Workaround: use SMSSITECODE=ABC) or running ccmsetup.exe manually without providing the sitecode.

    Okay, I'm completely on board here.  Does any of this information change if they were to upgrade to CM2012 in their environment as well or is the information just a ConfigMgr rule of thumb?

  • I created a 5x7 postcard document in Word with text boxes and graphics.  When I converted it to PDF, some of the items were missing, even though they were in the boundaries of the page and looked fine on the Word document.  What happened, and how do I fix

    I created a 5x7 postcard document in Word with text boxes and graphics.  When I converted it to PDF, some of the items were missing, even though they were in the boundaries of the page and looked fine on the Word document.  What happened, and how do I fix it?  I'm trying to upload the PDF version to Vistaprint.  Thanks.

    Reader doesn’t create pdf files. You can use Acrobat (ask in that forum) to create pdfs. You can subscribe to the Adobe PDF Pack which has a create pdf functionality (please ask in that forum), or you can use a third party utility such as ghostscript, cutepdf, or Microsoft’s own PDF creation capability. For third party pdf creation you will need to ask in a forum dedicated to that software as fellow users of Reader are unlikely to have the knowledge to help.

  • View stage boundaries | select objects in multiple frames/layers

    I've got 2 things where I've typed every query I can think of into Google  and can't find an answer. In both cases I'm sure there's a simple answer that  I'm missing.
    #1
    When I add a graphic or picture that's larger than the stage, the stage is  hidden. I've got no idea where it is and therefore what's viewable.
    At the minute I'm creating a temporary extra layer on top to outline where  the boundaries are, but surely there is a function in the software to show the stage boundaries?
    #2
    I've added a picture, converted it to symbol, created another keyframe,  changed the alpha on that, created another keyframe, changed the alpha on that,  applied lots of tweening. Now I want to move the image elsewhere.
    Currently, I'm applying the transformation independently for each of those  frames which just seems a bit daft.
    Is there a better way?

    1.  right click in the stage region and tick rulers.  you can click and drag vertical and horizontal lines from the left and top ruler.
    2.  create a movieclip of your tweened object.  place as many instances as you like any place you like.

  • Word wrapping at JTextPane boundaries

    Hi ! I have two problems related to JTextPane -
    1. I want to wrap words which are larger than the width of JTextPane so that it may remain visible inside the fixed boundaries.
    2. if there is an image and it can not be displayed in the same line in continuation of text then it should be displayed in the next line.
    All images that i have used have less width than that of JTextPane.
    Both these problems may be related or different, I dont know how to solve these problems.
    Please suggest any solution.

    Till now I am able to find the height of JTextPane after inserting some text by creating a dummy JTextPane
    and calling the method getPrefferedSize().height
    this wraps text correctly at word boundaries but i want it to be wrapped according to word boundaries and
    textpane boundaries both
    actually I am developing a chat application in which I have to show message from other person
    and if there is some text like ": )", ": D" etc then i want to show smileys :), :D in the place of these substrings
    I can insert text and replace the text with images by using StyledDocument's insert function
    but if i simply replace the text with images then the images are shown in the same line and wrapping doesn't work
    hence some part of images are not visible in the JTextPane
    as shown in the links http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=193222607456431&set=a.193222600789765.36992.100003060781951&type=1&ref=nf
    and http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=193225164122842&set=a.193222600789765.36992.100003060781951&type=1&ref=nf
    here link 1 shows the problem of partial display of image
    and link 2 shows the problem of inserting text that is larger than the width of the JTextPane
    And i want that whatever is inside the JTextPane should be shown inside the boundaries of it, I don't want to add a
    horizontal scrollbar !!!!!
    hope you got the problem, please provide some help !

  • When placing a Word document in a frame, the text over fills the frame boundaries.

    When I attempt to place a Word document in an InDesign text frame, the text flows outside the boundaries of the frame. This also happens if I use the InDesign placeholder text.

    The mdworker / CoreCalendar messages keeps on going. If should post entire thing, please let me know but it's huge.
    When I have Spotlight disabled I don't notice this happening (via enable Privacy in Spotlight for my entire account). So seems like there is some strange file that triggers this in Spotlight.
    So, Spotlight gets file that's mangled and that triggers this entire mess? This some kind of new Mac security vulnerability?
    I ran ClamXav and VirusScan hoping it would detect the file, but after a clean scan still nothing.
    Then looked at the Open Files of the mdworker task via Activity Monitor to see if would provide a clue of what tripped it up:

    Then tried running Shark, although have no clue how to use that program in hopes would get lucky, but got DTrace Error, error on enabled probe ID 3 (ID 17602): syscall::open:entry): invalid user access in predicate at DIF offsest 52.
    I've ran the program few times before, but didn't get that error. After rebooting machine after this incident I'm able to run Shark again, but for some reason can't right after this event happened.
    Maybe it's nothing, but figure provide as many clues as I can in case it's of some help.
    Already reinstalled machine a couple of times, but this keeps popping up once I have Spotlight enabled.
    Seems ideal if could trigger Shark or some debug tool upon this event and capture the necessary info to isolate the offending file that trips up Spotlight. But that's not something I know how to do...at least not yet.
    Maybe there is some tool that's made to scan for this sort of thing?
    Any chance this is some buffer overflow thing on Spotlight?
    Background info:
    - All OS updates already done -
    - Developer tools installed -
    - MacPorts installed -
    - Default Mac apps + skype + VirusScan
    Any pointers would be very welcome.
    Thanks...

    I am getting this message when I try to apply a signature to an invisible field:
    Electronic signature must be completely enclosed in page boundaries
    Supposedly digitally signing a PDF this way just puts the digital signature in the digital signatures "tab" and not visibly on the actual PDF document...why would I be receiving this?

  • Graph boundaries disappear in .doc report

    Hi,
    We have observed a recurring problem when sending XY graphs on the front panel into a .doc report.
    The problem is that some of the graph boundaries disappear. The attached file shows two graphs, one good and other bad. The bad graph has its right and bottom boundary missing.
    We have also observed that this starts to happen for graphs which have been resized a few times.
    Why does this happen?
    What is the solution? At present we have cursors which get set to X-max and Y-min (for the bad graph in my attached file) before the control image is sent to word report. We send images as .PNG using "Append Control Image to Report.vi".
    We are using LV 7.1 FDS on Win2000.
    Thanks,

  • Determining word boundaries when no space exists in text

    I am developing a text search feature for a viewer application and I run into PDFs quite often that do not use the space character to delineate word boundaries.  For example, a text showing operator with individual glyph positioning will contain strings and positioning information like this:
    [(de)15(grees)-262(and)-262(who)-262(w)10(ould)-262(contrib)20(ute)-262(an)]TJ
    When the strings are concatenated the result is:
    "degreesandwhowouldcontributean"
    Without spaces it's not possile to split the string into words based on character information.  It would appear the only information that could be used to guess word boundaries is the glyph positioning.  I have tested the documents in Adobe Reader and the application is able to correctly determine where word boundaries are, and it must be doing so by examing the glyph positioning and metrics.
    My first appreach was to get the glyph width for the space character, and assume a space is any position advance greater than the glyph width of a space.  The problem with that is the case where the font has been subsetted and the 'space' glyph is missing from the font.
    My second approach was to calculate the average glyph width for the font, then assume any text advance greater than 33% of the average glyph width is a space.  Works better but still not a reliable general solution.
    My question: does Adobe have a standard method for determining word boundaries when space characters are missing?

    Sounds like it's time for me to play some more "guesswherethewhitespaceis".  I've gleaned a bit by experimenting with Acrobat... feeding it text strings and increasing/decreasing glyph spacing to get an idea of how whitespace threshholds are being derived.  I discovered Acrobat gets word boundaries wrong on occassion so it seems to be an inexact process at best.
    Oh joy... in any case thanks for the reply.

  • Is there a cropping tool that also shows bleed boundaries?

    I am looking for a cropping tool or plug-in that can indicate bleed or wrap boundaries.  I have a visible canvas of 24x48, and need to crop to include 4" bleed on all four sides... so the printed image is 32x56.  But I want to see and manuever the crop tool with bleed indicators so I can precisely visualize the front plane and determine what is being wrapped.
    Is there a plug in or tool available for Aperture 3.5.1?  Thank you.

    I follow.  See if this works around the problem you describe:
    If you need a 2:1 ratio, and you are printing to 48 inches on the long axis for the visual plane, and need a 4" bleed on all sides, why not specify (in our imaginary tool) an Aspect 24 and 48; then the bleed, at 4, is proportional to the aspect ratio in units.  That would resolve the difference.
    I am basically inputting whole units now with the crop tool, inputting for Aspect Ratio 32 x 56, and "centering" the image with some external markers and relative measuring tools.
    If you are exporting the file at 300 dpi, it should come out as envisioned.
    Thanks for the feedback link.  I will use it.

  • Zoom item renderer out of scroller boundaries

    Hi everyone, hoping someone has the easy Answer.  I want to have an item renderer that can zoomIn and display outside the scroller boundaries for which it resides in.
    I have
    Scroller  set depth property =1
    |
    Datagroup (tile layout) depth=2
    |
    custom zoomable LabelItemRenderer depth=3  (depth=4 when zooming in so it overlaps the other renderers in the datagroup) ....these tiles, when zoomed, will increase in size by 50%.
    So in other words, the datagroup is wrapped in a scroller, and I extended the LIR to zoom.
    If I take the scroller out of the picture, everything works great...if I zoom on an IR(tile) that is on the very border of the datagroups boundaries, it will display over the DG's boundaries so that the whole zoomed tile is shown.
    Now if I wrap the DG in a scroller, the IRs will zoom, but any tiles on the boundary will get clipped by the boundary, like it is underneath the scroller.
    I want a zoomed tile to display completely, even if that means overlapping the boundaries of the scroller.  Like I said, works great when the DG doesn't have a scroller wrapped around it.
    Is this possible?
    I should add its a 4.6 mobile project.

    Another GT80 review to share with you guys, this one's from the UK media, the Eurogamer.

    How can you not want it? I am saving my piggy bank to get myself one of this cool stuff.

  • Set boundaries for magnifying cursor

    Hello,
    I have placed an image within a movieclip that I would like to zoom in on when the mouse passes over it. The zoom on the cursor is working, but the mouse remains a magnifying glass even after it rolls off of the zoomable image.
    I have tried putting the image and zoom code inside an swf and loading in it into a container via loadmovie, but the same problem with the cursor occurs.
    Here is a link to an .swf of the problem:   http://www.gingerjarvis.com/test/
    How can I set boundaries for the zoom function so that my cursor only becomes a magnifier over the image and is normal outside of it?
    Thank you so much for your time and help!!
    Ginger
    This is the code I am using:
    loadMovie("01.jpg", imgHolder);
    this.createEmptyMovieClip("zoomImg", 33);
    zoomImg.setMask(imgMask);
    var zoomBitmap = new flash.display.BitmapData(155, 155, false, 0xEAEAEA);
    zoomImg.attachBitmap(zoomBitmap, 5);
    var magPower = 2;
    var zoomMtx = new flash.geom.Matrix();
    zoomMtx.scale(magPower, magPower);
    magGlass.swapDepths(_root.getNextHighestDepth());
    _root.onEnterFrame = function()
    Mouse.hide();
    magGlass._x = _xmouse - 70;
    magGlass._y = _ymouse - 70;
    zoomImg._x = magGlass._x;
    zoomImg._y = magGlass._y;
    imgMask._x = magGlass._x;
    imgMask._y = magGlass._y;
    zoomMtx.tx = -_xmouse * magPower;
    zoomMtx.ty = -_ymouse * magPower;
    zoomBitmap.draw(imgHolder, zoomMtx);

    use:
    var mcl:MovieClipLoader=new MovieClipLoader();
    var lo:Object={};
    lo.onLoadInit=function(target){
    target.onRollOver=function(){
    magGlass._visible=true;
    Mouse.hide();
    this.onEnterFrame=magnifyF;
    target.onRollOut=function(){
    magGlass._visible=false;
    Mouse.show();
    delete this.onEnterFrame;
    zoomBitmap.dispose();
    mcl.addListener(lo);
    mcl.load("01.jpg",imgHolder);
    this.createEmptyMovieClip("zoomImg", 33);
    zoomImg.setMask(imgMask);
    var zoomBitmap = new flash.display.BitmapData(155, 155, false, 0xEAEAEA);
    zoomImg.attachBitmap(zoomBitmap, 5);
    var magPower = 2;
    var zoomMtx = new flash.geom.Matrix();
    zoomMtx.scale(magPower, magPower);
    magGlass.swapDepths(_root.getNextHighestDepth());
    magGlass._visible=false;
    function magnifyF()
    magGlass._x = _xmouse - 70;
    magGlass._y = _ymouse - 70;
    zoomImg._x = magGlass._x;
    zoomImg._y = magGlass._y;
    imgMask._x = magGlass._x;
    imgMask._y = magGlass._y;
    zoomMtx.tx = -_xmouse * magPower;
    zoomMtx.ty = -_ymouse * magPower;
    zoomBitmap.draw(imgHolder, zoomMtx);

  • Exporting to JPG... not cropping at Document Boundaries??? WHY! *************

    Hey doods,
    I'm tired of cropping my JPEGs in PShop after exporting from Illustrator. I just want it to crop at the document boundaries, sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't. Yes, I have the latest update.
    Thanks,
    Ron Burgandy

    I really do not know a permanent solution to this; but what I always do is: Before exporting, I create a white (no strokes) box the size of the documents boundaries (or the bleed)and place it centered within the document, then send it to back on the lower layer (if you have more than one). When you export, Illustrator will crop the artwork according to the white box. For laziness purposes, I've created actions for the different document sizes I use.
    I hope this little tip helps you.
