How to know if ane new fields are added matl. master ?
In our system some new field were added, we need to know how many new fiels are added like this ?

Hi,
At the display changes screen, system will show all the changes made to the material master in question. Hence you will be able to track every change (addition of any field, change in any field) in the material master.

    Why not try defining a new user status?
    In this user status you can set/reset the desired "new revision level"( if its the matter of only one field addition).
    Futher you can constraint any business process - if at all required based on this new user status.

    before knowing this you have to know how u write select in ABAP....
    think you have a str./internal table itab with this strucutre:
    data: begin of itab occurs 0,
             vbeln like vbak-vbeln,
             posnr like vbap-posnr,
             netwrt like vbap-netwrt,
           end of itab.
    u have to follow the same order in the select statement...
    select vbeln posnr netwrt
    from vbap
    into table itab
    where......
    Think that u had some concern and coudnt write a select in same order then u write it like this...
    Performance wise its very bad...so ppl generally try to eliminate it..
    select  netwrt posnr vbeln 
    from vbap
    into corresponding field of table itab
    where......

    Hi,
    Copy the Standard report and change the selection screen accordingly and insert the logic which you require to change. Do not change standard programs.

  • Enhancement in VA01 (Custom field addition in Additional Tab at header)

    Hi Experts,
    I have to develop some custom fields in tcode VA01 at header level in addtional data B tab. I know that i can use access key and develop the screen 8309 of program SAPMV45A and for that i have to provide access key. But i dont want to use access key.
    Is there any screen exit or badi through which i can develop the screen in additional data B tab in VA01. Please provide me suggestion.

    I don't know other solution. Provide a key in my opinion is not a problem. You must do it when create your own VOFM subroutines in your customer range number. if your boss or your client has doubts, ask him/her to see the SAP Note 381348 - Using user exit, customer exit, VOFM in SD, when it says:
    At the beginning of the R/3 development the SAP Basis did not offer
    technologies for exits yet, nevertheless many customers wanted to implement
    their own functions, checks, and so on. Thus, in the SD area, includes were
    delivered like, for example, MV45AFZZ. This include contains some empty
    FORM routines (user exits) to which you can go from the respective
    processing programs.
    and
    Changes to user exits in SD are MODIFICATIONS,
    since the original of an object belongs to SAP (thus when you change a user
    exit an SSCR registration is also required).
    Why this exits belongs to SAP, see Note 16466 - Customer name range for SAP objects.

  • Horizontal Field Additions in Trial Mode

    Are trial users unable to add fields horizontally? I only have the option to add vertically.

    Hi;
    Yes, trial/free accounts have the same ability to create rows of fields.  If you right click on the field there is an option to "Insert item beside", also if a field is selected there should be a "+" sign to the right that when clicked brings up a vertical toolbar to add an adjacent field.
    The only time you might not see this option is using the FormsCentral Desktop application included with Acrobat XI and only if you have never signed in and have not updated the application.  If you sign in that will update the application and bring it up to date including all features such as the side by side layout.
    There are also 3 fields (in addition to "New page") that can't have others adjacent (these fields are an entire row): Attachment, Ratings scale, and Line.  These fields would not show the "+" to the right or have the context menu options.
    Let me know if this doesn't resolve this for you.

  • CR XI R2 SP2 crashes on every paste or field addition

    Yesterday I upgraded from CR XI to CR XI R2 SP2. Since then, it crashes ever time I:
    a. Paste anything
    b. Drag a field/formula, etc from the explorer onto the report.
    This happens 100% of the time. That makes it impossible to do real productive work.
    Using the wizards to create reports does work, but am unable to use new formulas, additional fields, or copy/paste anything.
    If anyone has help for this, I would be ever grateful.

    How you upgraded the CR - by just installing the CR XI R2 installation or you have followed the recommended steps (view this [thread|Integrating crystal report into the visual studio standard edition IDE; for upgrading process.
    Also have you noticed any changes while installing CR XI R2 or the installation is interrupted any where?
    Its seems that it is the issue with CR designer? If so, please post to the Report Design [forum|SAP Crystal Reports;

  • New fields addition to BW 3.5 version ODS and Cube and transport to PRD.

    Hi,
    We have a scenarion on 3.5 wherein there is a enhancement to ODS and Cube(few new fileds are added), this New ODS also feeds data to Cube.  Since we do not had data on Quality system, we had no problem in adding fields to ODS and cube, but now we need transport these changes to Production, In production ODS and Cube has large data. we have few doubts.
    1. Shall we need to delete data from ODS and Cube then Transport request to Production server.
    2. Is it ok to move transport request without deleting data in ODS and Subsequent Cube in production system

    what is your suggestion on this one. WE are in BW 3.5 only. No BI7.

    you can directly transport that to production.
    the image will over write with the existing one and for the new object add , a new table space will be created.
    it will not affect the Old data
    But in the Cube even if the data is there there is a concept called remodeling

    In the selection screen of your report S_ALR_87012082, you need to select check box Vendor Address and then execute it.
    Now you will get the vendor name in the output.

    I need to add 'Material Group" (MATKL) field in item level similar GL Account. Material group will appear like GL account column in FB60/ MIRO screen ( GL posting).
    I want to do without modification with help screen BADI.

    Please check IMG path :
    Material management>Logistic Invoice verification>incoming invoice-->Maintain item list variant.
    Or use Tcode SHD0, enter transaction Code MIRO and create  a screen variant.
    You can create your own screen variant , Untick the invisible check box for material group.

    We have requirement of having Material Description field in the Allowed Field Catalogs in SPRO --> SD --> Basic Functions --> Pricing --> Pricing Controls --> Define Condition tables --> Allowed Field Catalogs in order to fetch the same for Pricing Condition Table creation with Mtrl Description as Key Combination.
    Hence, as a first step, have added the MAKTX field inside the "ZStructure" (which was created before) inside Main Structure KOMP and activated the same. Then i have added the same field MAKTX in Allowed Field Catologs of Pricing using New Entries.
    Now i have tried to create a new Pricing Condition Table with field catalog of Material Description (the added field), but there is no such field is available for selection.
    Is there anything i missed to do, so that the newly added field is available during New Condition Table Creation with key combination of the added field.

    Have added the required field in Structure KOMG now and it is available for selection in Condition Table Field Catalogs. However, am allowed to select this field only when creating a New Condition Table and if i want to add this field in the already created condition table in change mode, it thows an error message - "Function Code cannot be selected".
    How to proceed further.

  • Field addition to customized report

    Hello Gurus,
    We have requriement like this,
    We have a reprot which is customozied in R/3 which has  12 fields in which 4 fields are key fields,
    Eg:
    Sales doc,itemno,delivery date and schedule line date are key firleds and in thid the data is getting filed up by customized program. We created the Generic extractor and pulling the data to BI system. Now the customer would like to add the sales employee field for which patner function is the must according to R/3 logic but our problme is sales document number is key fields hence it would be repeated but where as if we are calling the partner function then we will get repaeted sales document number. Please can any one suggest me alternative to add the filed wihtout make any changes t0 R/3 program and internally it is linked with 10 different program which a client does not want to do that... can we enhacement but how to include the vlaues...
