Field description changes not showing on one client only

Hello!
I have a network with several clients all running SAP. I have modified lots of field descriptions (by pressing CTRL double click on the field).
This is great - except I have one PC where the field descriptions show the original text, rather than my updated descriptions. This happens even when other SAP users login to this PC.
Can you explain why one PC is not showing the modified field descriptions?

What do you mean? I have restarted the PC and reinstalled SAP.
What else is there to restart?

SCCM 2012 MOF changes not showing up on clients

Just updated my configuration.mof for getting a registry entry for a windows build rev. and it checked out well using MOFCOMP -CHECK Configuration.mof and then swapped it out with the live configuration.mof file. I then imported the reporting class
into SCCM HWInv GUI and it checked out fine. Dataloader created the tables/views in the SCCM DB and all seems well.
However, my clients are not picking up the HW inventory class updates and are not reporting in. Its been over a day so it shouldn't be replication. Where should I look to troubleshoot this?

Maiden name field in contacts not showing on iPhone or iPad or iCloud

I've changed my contacts template, on my iMac, to include the "maiden name" field, years ago... And to this date that field STILL does not show on my other Apple devices; iPhone or iPad or iCloud. Am I missing something or does Apple continue to not include some of THEIR "Std" fields on the ios devices or on iCloud?

I just talked to Apple Support, after upgrading to ios7...and testing more with the maiden name field...
There reply was that the "Mainden Name" field is unique to OS X Contacts, and is no plans to bring it forward. I also just noticed that if a edit a contact that has this field on ios7 (the field doesn't show) and it syncs back via iCloud to my iMac...it wipes out the maiden name info!!!
I did notice that the new ios7/iCloud have several new/additional "relationship" fields, ie Spouse (which has been there) but now Mother, Father, etc....
Sooo... I guess I'll use the Father field to hold the maiden name info... works for me... :-)

Google Ads (adsense) do not show in one of our sites - Firefox 3.6.4

Google ads do not show in one of our sites (hipogg.info).
The site shows ads just fine in IE, Chrome, Opera & Safari.
I have tried just about everything:
- Cleared Cache and tried - No success
- Disable addons and tried - No success
- Open Firefox in Safe Mode and tried - No success
- uninstalled Firefox and all personal preferences, reinstalled a clean firefox and then tried - No success.
I would appreciate one of you guys to help me out.

Firstly I am impressed at the quick and helpful response from Mozilla Forum. I posted the same on Google Ads forum and have not received any response yet.
I asked a couple of my colleagues (who are outside our network) to check it in their firefoxes. And the result they got was the same as yours.
In other words the ads work fine with Firefox. The issue could be my pc and/or network. Or the issue could be that since I registered hipogg.info on google adwords using this browser/pc. Google may have registered the browsers/pc's unique/mac id and blocked ads. If so that is good work on Googles part - though communicating the message across to their users would be helpful and time saving.

Describe what "cant select" and "cant increase" means.
We cant see what you are doing or with what or where!
These arent things that get "broken".

Hold the command shift and 4 keys down, draw a box around what your seeing and upload the desktop image in your post response here.

tell us what actions you take to get Apple not to recognize your email address...
Are you formatting it correctly? - username @ someDomain .com <- NO Spaces (I did it so the system wouldn't make an email link out of it)
Tell us what happens when you realize that Apple is "not recognizing" your email. What message do you get, exactly? Take screenshot of the entire screen for context

i am running an ldap server and items that are in the notes field are not showing up in address book. how can i get notes/description items in ldap to show up in apples address book.

Add Customer fields to Shopping Cart Wizard - Not showing on one screen

Hi,
I have added 3 custom fields to the SRM portal (5.0), by adding these fields to structures INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF & INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_SC, as described in OSS Note 672960.
On the Shopping Cart Wizard, these custom fields appear in the default settings for items & when adding a Limit Item.
However, they do not appear in the selection for "Describe Requirement".
How do I add them to this subscreen? I have tried copying the customer fields subscreen in Screen Painter from the Limit Item screen (in addition to flow logic and html template changes.) However, it doesn't work right this way.
Please help.

Not sure which CUF BADI you are referring to, since there are 2 of them.
BBP_CUF_BADI - Not implemented, since this is used to change how custom sub-screens look and act by creating your own (if business logic is complex). Not relevant, since the Customer fields subscreen does not appear where we need it. We have no use for controlling it in the areas where it does appear.

Material description is not showing in VL10H

Hi All,
I am running the report VL10H and facing a problem, step which is being followed by me, given below:-
1.Put plant and delivery date and execute.
2.click on label Edit -> Show/hide delivery.
3.Chose the field u201CMaterial descriptionu201D from Layout for output field.
Now here I am seeing that all the materials in this report, having SD Doc i.e. delivery has been created,
Material description is showing and remaining materials which have no delivery (showing in green color),
Material description is not being shown.
Can anybody suggest me regarding this?

I do not have any items shown which have already deliveries created
About which description are you talking, as I can see 2, one at item level and another one at header level ?

Devices not showing up in client software Administration section

None of our devices are showing in the "devices" portion of the administration section in the client app.
Everything is functioning fine and I can administer devices through SysPrefs, but will eventually need to get back to this setup to add "edit in place" volumes, etc. I've tried refreshing, creating a new device to refresh list and many other things. I can't even search for a device by name in the "devices" section. Again, this is the only place where I can't see them.
Any ideas? Need it back bad!

Correct, not seeing any devices, but ONLY in the "devices" portion of the client admin. I see all my devices everywhere else and the entire system is functional, except for the fact that I can't get to them through the client admin. I can access it through the Sys Prefs portion of FCS, but need to get into the client admin for "edit in place", etc...
I do have backups from as far as 6 months ago, however - Much has changed on the server and I'd had to have to revert to one of those. Not sure exactly when this issue started, but I've seen it for at least a month.

Can any one tell me how to change Field Description in standard screen.? No user exits available and without access key.
Ex :- if field description is DATE. i want to change it to 'Test Date'.
i dont want to change it Data element level.
Please do not give CMOD solution

Hi
If you don't want to use CMOD (changing the description for all system) nor use access key, changing the standard, you can create your own report, with the same screen, changing the name and after do a SUBMIT with your selection screen on the standard selection screen (standard report). Of course, it will be a customer development. It's an idea.

Description changes not reflecting in User Decision step

Hi,
I am displaying the ECM (cc01) description in the workflow user decision step. In this user decision step I do have three options
    1. Changes completed (to move the ECM to next level)
    2. Edit ECM (Calls ECM n change mode CC02)
    3. Cance (standard)
If I choose Edit ECM, and change the description in the ECM and come back to the user decision step, it still shows the older description some cases. In some cases I am getting the updated description in user decision step. In Edit ECM step I am using Z method which is the copy the standard BO method Edit_synchron of ECM to call the transaction CC02.
Z method does not contain any importing or exporting parameters. Also in the workflow<->Task binding I bound ECM <-> _WF_Object_ID.

2 case:
1.) Description not changing: How the description get populated in user decision step ? Is it some varibale get populated based on select query ?
2.) Description get changed: Please check the new workflow instance get created and you can only see changed text in new instance. Already triggered workflow will not show the changed value.
Please check the worklow design, whether its creating new workflow instance on every change in ECM ?
