  • What is the need of creating partner functions for sales document type.

    Hi SAP (SD-GURUS),
Actually we create partner functions  before creating customer ex: sold to party, ship to party, bill to party, and payer.
These partner functions are going to be copied into sales order while processing sales order.
Again what is the need of creating partner functions for sales document type.
    Thanks&Regards
    sreenivas peruru

There are some Partners you could enter at Sales ORder Level. E.g. Sales Person, Employee Responsible, Forwarding Agent, Broker, etc.
Thus these partner Determination need to be carried out at Sales Order Level & not at Customer Master level.
So we have to configure partner Determination for various levels e.g. Customer Master, Sales Order, Delivery level etc...
    Hope this helps...

  • Billing block for customer for sales document type OR

    Hi
I want to block a customer for a particular sales document type OR
    How to do it?
    Regards

    Hi Nikhil
There is a field called "Check Partner Auth.", but it is necessary to create the order from a contract. This field is in sales document customizing VOV8.
    SAP Documentation:
    Check partner authorizations
This check determines whether a partner is authorized to release against a contract.
    Procedure
Here you can specify whether the check is to be performed against the partners in the contract or the partners in the customer hierarchy. If you do not want the check to be performed, leave the field blank.
When you create a release order for a contract, the system determines whether a partner is authorized to release against the contract. The check is performed at header level. Depending on the rule you enter in this field, the system checks against one of the following:
    Partners in the contract
If the partner has the partner function AG (sold-to party) or AA (sold-to party authorized to release) in the contract, the system accepts the partner as the sold-to party for the release order.
    Partners in the hierarchy
If the sold-to party of the contract is at a higher level in the customer hierarchy to the partner who wants to release against the contract, the system accepts the partner as the sold-to party for the release order.
    Note
If you create a contract with reference to another contract, the system does not run a check and it copies all the partners created in the target contract. If you do not want it to do this, use copying control in Customizing to change it.

  • Number range for sales document type

    Hi,
I am having 1 client under that 5 company codes, ade according to that 5 plants & 5 sales organization.
so for one comapany code including all there are 15 sales document types same for other also
    my question is
How can I assign number range for all that?
If i am going to maintain seperate document type it goes to 75
which userexit will help me out for this?
without userexit what is the otherway?
    regards,
    Rahul

Not only at order level, you will have to use exits at delivery and billing document level also.
    For sales documents:
    Exit USEREXIT_NUMBER_RANGE in MV45AFZZ
    For delivery documents:
    Exit USEREXIT_NUMBER_RANGE in MV50AFZ1
    For billing documents:
    Exit USEREXIT_NUMBER_RANGE in RV60AFZZ
You need to give tables for maintaining numbers for sales, delivery and billing documents. In the exit a select query can be written to fetch the data based on the parameters like sale orgainzation, company code etc.

    GSL.

  • Immediate Transfer Order Creation not occuring for Sales Document Type

    Hello gurus,
I have a situation where a transfer order is not being created immediately for a specific sales document type.
Here is an example document flow of a desired scenario where the system is working:
    Sales document type:  ZOR
    >  Delivery type:  LF
    >  WMS transfer order
The Item Category in this scenario is TAN.
Here is an example of the document flow in the current scenario where the system is not working:
    Sales document type:  ZPRD
    > Delivery type:  LF
The Item Category is also TAN in this scenario.  The only identifiable difference in these scenarios is the sales document type.  For the ZOR SaTY, a Transfer Order prints immediately once the delivery is created.  For the ZPRD SaTY, a Transfer Order needs to be manually created after delivery creation.
Is there a configuration setting that is controlling this?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for the link.  When I insert the WMTA output type in the delivery output header, the Transfer Order is automatically created.
The problem I'm running into now is the configuration setting that controls this.  I thought I figured it out when going to this IMG path:
SAP Customizing Implementation Guide  -->  Logistics Execution -->  Shipping -->  Basic Shipping Functions  -->  Output Control -->  Define Print Parameters Shipping
When selecting the Delivery Note, the shipping point I was using was not configured in this location.  I added the shipping point into this transaction, saved, and created a new order & delivery.  However, the WMTA output type still was not automatically inserted into the delivery when saving.  Is there another location I should be looking to fix this so that when I enter an order with a particular Shipping Point, the WMTA output type automatically appears in the delivery?

  • Link for sales document type and PO/delivery number

    Hi guys,
I have a PO number(EKPO-EBELN) and the delivery number for STO(LIKP-VBELN), how am i going to link this 2 to get the SALES document type(AUART)?
    thanks a lot!

    mark,
So this is really not possible to get the pricing condition using the BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE since this bapi requires the sales document type?
it depends if your delivery wrt to Sales document which is VBAK-VBELN than you can use above FM.here your deliver is created from STO so now you have to use select quesy as i already suggested as vijay also.
you may want to do same.

  • PR(ME52N) field change for one document type

    Hi all,
I have a requirement to have quanity field in display mode in ME52n (PR change) for only one document type say NB. for other document type the quantity field should be change mode. is this possible..if so cna you please explain in detail.
    Thanks,
    vatchan

    Hey vatchan,
Here should be slight change to the earlie posted version.
    1. Materials Management - > Purchasing -> Purchase Requisition -> Define Screen Layout at Document Level
    2. select the Screen layout ME52N & copy this to new 'Felid selection group' (Say ZZZZ) and check Quantity field to be 'display' check box. (It is usually not advisable to make changes to standard 'Felid selection group')
    3. Then, Materials Management - > Purchasing -> Purchase Requisition -> Define Document Types
    4. define the screen layout in Field Selection Key created (ZZZZ) against the document type 'NB' and your ME52N should restrict 'quantity' field as 'Display' while other document types can still show 'Quantity' field as editable.

  • Checking rule for sales document types

    Hi,
Can I change the cheking rule for a sales document type? Where could I change it? or should I build Z table?
    Thanks!

    7,
Checking rule is hard-coded into standard SAP sales doc maintenance programs.  For SOs, it is A or A* (depending on the stock type).  For Deliveries, it is B or B*.  There is no way to use standard configuration to alter the rule within SD.

  • User exit for VA01 - No range for sales document type

    Dear Experts,
In our project, we have 8 sales organizations and these are assigned to 8 different company codes. Actually our client doesnt want to maintain different document types for each Sales Organization. We need to maintain one document type for all the sales organizations and different No ranges for each sales organization. So can any one guide me on User exit available for this purpose.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Rahul

    hi,
pls refer to the following user exit.
    Include prog : MV45AFZZ
    USEREXIT_NUMBER_RANGE
Use this user exit to define the number ranges for internal document number assignment depending on the required fields. For example, if you want to define the number range depending on the sales organization (VKORG) or on the selling company (VKBUR), use this user exit.
The user exit is called up in the FORM routine BELEG_SICHERN.

  • Number Ranges for sales document type

    Dear All,
I have four company codes. I am assigning the same sales order type for all company codes.
I want to have diffrent number ranges for diffrent company codes for same sales order type. Is this possible?
    Please advise
    Regards,
    Deepu Pillai

    Dear Deepu,
A similar kind of requirement, has been stated in to the following thread:
    [Different S.O. No. Range|Re: User Exit No for assign a different internal document number to VA01;
    Include Program: MV45AFZZ
    User-Exit: USEREXIT_NUMBER_RANGE
In the above thread, the routine has been modified as per the requirement "Different S.O. No. as per Sales Org."
You may Discuss the same with ABAPer to modify Routine in FORM USEREXITNUMBER_RANGE_; as per the requirement: "Different S.O. No. as per Company Code"
The user exit is called up in the FORM routine BELEG_SICHERN.
You need define the number range depending on the selling company (VKBUR)

  • Update vbup/vbuk from user-exit for sales document

    Dear All.
Is it possible to update the sales document status for an item (vbup) from a user exit , customer function, badi, or other, in the billing document?
We'd like to make the control of updating the status tables dynamic, rather than based on the confiuration for an exception process.
For example, when service item (order related billing) is partially billed, depending on some conditions we would set the sales order service item to fully invoiced.
    In this case vbup-FKSAA = C.
    Many thanks!

There is a BAdI LE_SHP_ITEM_STATUS that can change the item status in VBUP. Be sure to read the documentation first. It states
If you use this BAdI to change the delivery item status that was set in delivery
processing, it can affect further processing of the delivery extensively, and
lead to data inconsistencies. Therefore, SAP recommends that you only use
the BAdI to modify your own status fields.

    Sahil,
I suggest you close this question, since this is an MM forum.  You are unlikely to get many answers here.
I also suggest that you first perform a search, before re-posting this question elsewhere.
First, search within the forums (search box on the upper right of this screen).  I just tried a search on 'copy control' and got over 20,000 hits.  Surely one of these posts will be able to help you.
Next, check online help. This help is generic, and not generally specific to a particular industry:

If you are experiencing a problem, or you believe that SAP is not working per the online help, you can then search OSS notes.

  • User exits for sales order

    Dear all SAP experts,
How to find out the user exits for sales document type? Especially the user exits which are called when we save the sales order.
    With best regards,
    Allabaqsh G. Patil

    Hi,
Also there is user exit to refresh data
    USEREXIT_REFRESH_DOCUMENT
It is always necessary to refresh user-specific data before   *
the next document will be processed.                          *
This can be done in this userexit.                            *
This userexit can be used to refresh user-specific data       *
when the processing of a sales document is finished           *
          - after the document is saved                                 *
          - when you leave the document processing with F3 or F15       *
It may be necessary to refresh user-specific data before      *
the next document will be processed.                          *

  • Sales document type - field indicator

    Hi,
In transaction VOV8 for sales document type, there is a field 'Indicator'.
What is the function of this field? There is no help associated for this field.
    Thanks

As F1 help indicates this field is only for display in TVAK table.
So, it means if you are selecting this indicator, a program associated with this indicator would be running.
This indicator is used in certain order types only
    for example
Order type RA - Repair order is assigned indicator F (you can also look for other order types and indicators assigned to them).
If you create a order with sales document type RA, you would notice certain changes when compared to regular sales order type  OR.
The most prominent is button Repairs.
There may be others but you could check for them.
You can play around and assign indicator F to order type OR.
You would see that OR screen now resembles the screen order type RA. It has Repairs button associated with it.
In short, if you assign indicator to sales order type, it runs a program associated with it. The SAP program is SAPL080O.
