Field length of one Field was incresed in the data source.
the same data source/table is used for extracting the data from R/3 to BW.
will it effect these changes in BW side.

Hi Ram,
It Affects 100%.for the Data.
If the field in the data source is suppose 15 and if the Info Object In BW is 12 the there are chances of missing 3 characters which might be crucial for the client.
But there will not be any effect on Transfer Rules mapping or data load.

It could essentially involve a movieclip that follows the mouseY property with a minor bit of tweening to a stop, possibly triggered by a MOUSE_MOVE event. Hover over/out of the individual menu items loads/unloads a preview image in the movieclip.

If you want to end up wanting to kill yourself, just try doing that in Illustrator. That was probably done using a program that has more than Illustrator’s pathetic 3D effects. The biggest problem you will have is that Illustrator can only model one object at a time. You can extrude an outline of Florida and be happy with the result, but once you try using different extrude height for different states you will see the problem.
Illustrator cannot model a “scene”, meaning all objects exist within one 3D universe with the same lighting, perspective, and vanishing points. Painstaking trial and error will be needed to get each state to look correct in relation to all the other states. Also, Illustrator extrudes from the centre out, so suing different extrude heights will mean the bottoms of each state are not aligned to the same surface. Fixing that will also take a lot of trial and error. best of all, once the bases of the states are nice and aligned, the perspective consistency will be off because you had to move everything.
Conclusion: If this was done in Illustrator, it was not done using and 3D effects. It was done using talent and experience.

this tool is usually called the Blur or soft-focus effect (translated from my German PS). Many programs offer this brush for applying to the effect. Often you can select the photo, create a soft edge selection and then make the selection using filter blurred or you yourself blur some of the image areas.
And we have the tool "Unsharp Mask". For this purpose, only the original image and a blurred version are required. The layer structure, however, shows good results only if your program supports 32-bit color depth, like Photoshop.

Incoming Email Subject Field length increase

Hi,
In CRM 7.0,I need to increase the incoming email Subject Field length ,When i try to modify UI configuration,Subject fields are not enabled for configuration (Other fields in the same screen are enabled for modifications)..
Please give your inputs whether incoming email Subject Field length can be increased? if so,this should be done at UI level or mail form?

Actually I can to find out views and class details in CRM 7.0 by using F2 key..
The UI component is CRMCMP_CCS_EML and view is CRMCMP_CCS_EML/MailBody. The implementation class is ZL_CRMCMP_C_MAILBODY_IMPL. Since all the page attributes are string, There is a context class ZCL_CRMCMP_C_MAILBODY_CTXT, But no context node (Like you mentioned type CN as in *CN00, *CN01) within page attribute.
The main issue am facing here is that couldnu2019t figure out where to start the debugging for inbound mails where the subject field is truncated. I usually process inbound mails from SOIN transaction.
Moreover subject field can have more than 40 characters in outgoing mail, but the inbound mail subject field limited to 40 character and rest of them truncated.
Hope you understand my area of concern and provide me your input.

Here In ECC we have the Fields with Field Lengths with 20 Char , But in the File We have the Fields with Field Lengths with 10 Char.
So in this case Is the Data will be Posted to File Successfully OR Any Error will Come

Just in FCC set NameA.fixedLengthTooShortHandling
= Ignore / Cut. Depending on the requirement.
Ignore:Ignore means that the system applies the value completely, regardless of it being too long.
Cut:Cut means that a value is shortened to the maximum permitted length

I want to extend table "hr_location_extra_info_lei" column name "lei_information3" field length from 16 to 30 and was wondering if I can do this and how?

I am trying to extend the field length for colun lei_information 3 from 16 characters to 30 characters in the table hr_location_extra_info_lei, but cannot seem to do this. Can the length be changed and if so how?

Hi Louise,
All the "lei_informationX" columns in hr_location_extra_info table are of size VARCHAR2(150) (Oracle EBS R12).
So I understand why you're saying it's limited to 16 characters.
May it's only a question of your setup limiting it to 16 car., in which case you can easily change it to 30 by unfreezing the DFF and modifying it.

I had a dialog screen showing a valid from date as 10.10.2007. I changed it to 15.10.2007 and click on other details tab. when I returned, it is still showing the old values.
When I did a DEBUG, upon changing and hitting enter key, the new dates for the screen field is not changed. it is still showing the old date for the screen field.
why is it so?
I think this is the cause of why the old values is still displaying. How can I get the field updated to my internal table. It need to be filled with the new values before I can updated to my internal table and then re-displayed again.

In that case you must Update the Internal table in the PAI .. Inside LOOP .. ENDLOOP.
Process After Input.
LOOP AT ITAB.
 Module Update_itab. "Calling the module
ENDLOOP.
In Module pool
 Module Update_itab INPUT.
 modify itab from wa index TABCON-CURRENT_LINE.
 ENDMODULE.
Note: Here WA is the work area of the Screen fields and TABCON is the Table control variable.

This is strange, because Safari Help still states cookies are manipulated on the Security screen, even though the screen has changed and no longer addresses cookies.

Presuming you're referring to Safari 5.1, yes, it's moved, but I don't see it as being harder. Now you can clear all privacy-related items - cookies, cache and history - with one button, the "Remove All Website Data" button. If you want to work with individual cookies, it's still just one button, the "Details" button. So no, I don't see it as being more difficult.

In service documents and blanket PO's the "goods recipient" can not
be used. Please read the information from the note 118008:
The system does not display the goods recipient and unloading point
fields in the account assignment block for a service line even though
they are set as input fields in Customizing.
You cannot display fields 'Unloading Point' and/or 'Goods Recipient' in
the R/3 system. The reason for this is that every account assignment
object for each service specification can have several unloading points
and/or goods recipients.
In particular, only one cumulation for each account assignment object is
possible and useful at purchase order item level.
As of Release 4.0, user fields are available in external services
management.
You can name these user fields, for example, 'Unloading Point' and
'Goods Recipient'.
A user field belongs to the service line and is purely informative.

Idoc segment field length changes

I am new to idoc.
My requirement is in my segment
i am having 5 fields and also this segment is already realeased one.
i wnat to change the field length from 10 to 20 . how to do this ?
actually what i did is
1. i cancel the release for that segment.
2. in that field inside the dataelement i changed the field length from 10 to 20.
3. data elemnt get chaged from 10 to 20 but Export length for that field in Idoc segment still retain the 10 only

The way you used is right. ( cancel release or create a new segment )
After you cancel release, try delete that field, and insert a new one.
If it isn't valid still, create a new segment instead.

If the only solution is to change the sap standard program, simply change the program, it will prompt for an access key. This key can be retrieved in the SAP support portal (service.sap.com) at keys and requests, sccr keys, register object.
Sometimes these actions are outsourced to a competence center, so maybe youre not entitled to do this, in any case ask a resident senior developer for support.

What was this program for, or did you just assume it's something you shouldn't have and therefore arbitrarily decide to "throw it away"? Exactly how did you supposedly throw it away?
If you didn't change your administrator password, there's no reason it shouldn't work now, so that suggests you did something else, or changed it and then forgot what it was.
You can't recover that password; you can only change it. To do that, you would need to boot from your Snow Leopard DVD, choose your language, then choose Reset Password from the Utilities menu in the top menu bar.
