Field mising in Extract Sstructure

Hi all,
In Inventory Management am working on BX data source and when i open the extract structure of the
data source in RSA5 one key figure is missing.
When I open the extract Structure MC03BX0 i can see all the Keyfigures the missing one also.
And when am trying to load the data into the cube in BW that keyfigure is missing.
what should I do after all the ksy figure is a standard one.

I may sound silly, but I hope you are not looking for the key figures in R2 side.(I mean with name starting with 0). In R3 side, its all table fileds. This datasource BX is used for Stock initialization. We can not modify it. In fact, its not available in LBWE screen. I am not sure which key figure is missing. Please see if that field is present in the underlying table of this datasource(like MBEW, MSEG...).

Problem in populating the new field from the extract structure. Kindly help

my requirement a new text field is added on R/3 side and I have to populate
the same field into BW.
In the R/3 a new customization table 'AAA' is created which will have
code - char 3 and
text - char 30.
The code field is added to a table BBB.
The SAP standard generic data source exracts data from the table BBB where in the new code field have been added.
Now I can the see the code field in the extract structure and not in the data source as the filed has selection value 'A' when checked in the ROOSFIELD table.
To populate the value in BW, I will be creating a Generic Master Data text wherein I fetch the values from the table 'AAA' which the fields code and text and replicate the same in BW.
In the reporting level, the code InfoObject will be selected as display both KEY and TeXT, by doing I can populate the values of TEXT in the reporting.
But to achieve the same I need to add the field code in the ODS but cannot do the same because I am not able to see the field code in the data source.
Kindly let me know how to achieve the same.
Also let me know if there is any alternate solution to populate the text field in BW.

Hi all,
i have created tables (non BO Tables) directly on the SQL-server and want to use recordset to populate a user form matrix.
Is there any workaround to achieve this using non BO tables?
Please provide some sample code since it is a very urgent matter.

Hi Neil,
The following steps describe what we did to get the new evaluation:
1. Define Attributes and Object Types for Evaluations: here we added a new field for evaluation. The field was COMPLETION (degree of processing in percent), with relevant object "TASK". "No Summarization" was configurated as Rule for Summarization
2. Define Extract Layouts: here we created a new extract layout for evaluation. The objects and attributes to be used were defined (the field COMPLETION was defined as attribute).
3. Assign Extract Layouts to Project Types.
4. Define Evaluations: the new layout for evaluation were created using the attributes.
5. Define Severity.
6. Define Threshold Values. In the new evaluation the field COMPLETION was used in the formula.
After configurating and testing, we have noticed that the values of field COMPLETION are not taking into account. It does not matter which value it has, evaluation always take 0.

ROCANCEL field in R3 extraction program can't catch the LOEKZ (deletion ind

Why the ROCANCEL field in R3 extraction program can't catch the LOEKZ (deletion indicator) value in EKPO for some item (not all item) deletions in a purchasing doc?
We deleted some purchasing document items on R3, e.g.,
doc 1
item 1 deleted
item 2
item 3
item 4 deleted
item 5
doc 2
item 1 deleted
item 2 deleted
Run RSA3 on the datasource 2LIS_02_ITM, find the extraction program field ROCANCEL(Indicator: Cancel Data Record) for doc1 are all null for each doc1 item that this field ROCANCEL fails to catch EKPO deletion indicator field LOEKZ value for these two deleted item 1 and item 4 showed in table EKPO with value of 'L' for item 1 and item 4.
However this extraction program field ROCANCEL does catches the correct values for doc2 though. Sounds like if all the doc items get deleted then ROCANCEL shows correct value 'R', if only deleting some items of a doc, then ROCANCEL doesn't indicate the deletion!
Any idea? We have searched OSS Notes, but find something which are only for BW other than for R3. The problem starts at R3 extraction program!

Sap Query custom field assigned to wrong field group (in extract)

Hello,
I want to add an extra field to InfoSet /SAPQUERY/MEBANF at EBAN level. I added a field in a normal way:
I fill it with a constant value. I adapted Sap Query:
In result, I got the value in new column but only for certain rows:
The value is there only for EBAN rows which have EBKN entries related.
I checked the program, and my new field is added to field group %fg07 with some other fields from table EBKN (not EBAN):
Fields from field group %fg07 are inserted to extract only in event get EBKN, so if there is no entries in EBKN, my field will not be inserted into extract:
I tried a lot of things (assigning my field to new field group in InfoSource, adding a field on EBKN level). I can say that every extra field created by me was assigned to field group &fg07.
Am I doing something wrong?
The target is to add new field in the document overview panel in ME2xN transaction. I know that there is user-exit EXIT_SAPLMEQUERY_002 where I can specify a Z* query. But this solution requires a copy of InfoSet and query to Z*. Adding a new field to standard Sap query is the fastest way.

Now I tried to append EBAN table with my Z* field. I regenerated InfoSet and query but the result is still wrong:
insert EBAN-GSFRG into %fg06.
insert EBAN-ZUGBA into %fg06.
insert EBKN-VBELN into %fg07.
insert EBKN-AUFNR into %fg07.
insert EBKN-KOSTL into %fg07.
insert EBAN-ZZDELIV_DATE_MRP into %fg07. <-- here again the Z* field is assigned to field group related to EBKN table

Does ur generic extractor contains data only from CE10016 table,
ok then in this case u have to tcode RSO2-edit-click on append structure-name of append strucure will start from 'zz' - add ur required fields there, save and activate it-back- save and activate datasource- then go to customer exit- pick up ur project - pick up exit type 1 for transaction data - write ABAP code for the new fields by the business logic activate and test the data.
This is a simple procedure, if u expect data can be brought from some other table which can be linked, then there is another solution, but, before that u please put ur clear requirement.

How to find where the data is coming from in appended field for BW extract

I am not an ABAP'er ... And this problem is about a BW Extractor
I am extracting data for my (Utility Industry) Sales Statistics Cube using 0UC_SALES_STATS_01 data source. The Extract structure is BIW_ISU_ESTA and we are appending the structure with a few fields:
I_ZAHL1
I_ZAHL2
I_ZAHL3
I see some similar fields in DBERCHZ1 which are not the same. The data gets filled in the above fields somehow. I need to find out how and where. We have now diffrent variation of the same data and I'd like to extract that transactional data as well using the same fields rather than appending more fields to an already huge extract structure. When I click on the fields in BIW_ISU_ESTA, it takes me no where. I also tried out the extractor program (RSA3) in debug mode but somehow the fields are already populated. I tried using the ABAP dictinary but can't find a way to find these fields there.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Renata,
This is a standard business content extractor with the fields enhanced. Usually we have some user exits to populate the fields but in this case we only append the extract table. I couldn't see these fields being part of any existing includes in the extract struct but some how they get populated. I guess system knows from where to copy the data.

Please see documentation of enhancement MM06E005 (transaction SMOD).
Userexit EXIT_SAPMM06E_016 is a component of enhancement MM06E005.
With that enhancement, you can
-   Maintain/supply your own customer fields
-   Update your own customer-specific tables
You cannot:
-   Change standard fields
-   Change data that depends on the document header in the items
-   Change data that depends on an item in the document header
Please have a look at Business Add-In (BAdI) ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST.

Add field to be extracted by DME file / engine

Hi,
I am trying to change the DME format such that the vendor email address information can be extracted in the DME file from payment run.
I can see the field "BENEFICIARY EMAIL 1" under DMEE. However, I am not sure how to link the structure & field name so that the information can be extracted.
Please advise the steps. How to I change here ? Where did the DME engine pulls the information from ?

Hi,
The structures available for the DME tree does not consist email id of the payee/beneficiary. For this we will have to write a function module and fetch the email id from ADR6 - SMTP_ADDR. The function module written by the ABAPer can be attched using the mapping option "Exit Module".

Actually we are doing a modification and change in the structure of a big Z table and custom developments. So I want to analyse and list the programs related to BI extraction also... which are going to effected because of this change. So please let me know... how can I find this. I am new to System Extract, I want to generate a file for our FSA vendor, but I cannot find which field is for FSA annual election, I have found "Enrollment Rate - Employee Total Contribution" is for deduction of every pay check, but I cannot find annual election. in your first select single * statement you have given WHERE BUKRS = T001K-BUKRS..but at the point of execution, what will be the value stored in t001k-bukrs...i doubt it will be initial....so, store bukrs in a variable or hardcode it.....
in the second select, you hve not given any target work area for the into class...that's y your subrc is 4...specify a target area, where you want the data to be stored...

Table of origin for a specific field in the extract structure

I'm currently working with the sap bw data source 0HE_SLC_PCP_1 (higher education & research). Now, I'd like to know the name of the table of origin where the GUID 16 (CQGUID; field of the according extract structure) is stored on the R/3.

One option is you find the data element of that field GUID.
Now go to SE11 transaction and in data type put that data element and press where used list. In that select tables.
This will give you a list of tables where that field is used.
But again if there are lots of them it will be difficult to find.
The only option in that case is debug the extractor and find out.

Capturing Delta for Appending field in the extract structure

I have a issue for capturing the delta value. zzdelco is the field appended in the MC11VA0HDR and populating the data through user exit
SELECT SINGLE DELCO FROM VBKD INTO L_DELCO WHERE VBELN = <FS_MC11VA0HDR>-VBELN " AND POSNR = '000000' .
IF SY-SUBRC = 0.

I have to Capture the delta whenever someone changes this field DELCO. CDPOS/CDHDR doesnt recognizes this changes.
Is their any way I can caputre the changes .

SAP Java Connector: Is it possible to cut field values of extracted table?

I am extracting some SAP tables using the SAP Java Connector (via RFC_READ_TABLE or similar). Is it possible to pass some kind of maxlength for some fields of a table, e.g. if we have a field with size 3750 (like PROFS in table USH04) but I only want the first 100 chars - something like LEFT(PROFS, 100) in SQL?

The point is that PROFS has a size of 3750 - but RFC_READ_TABLE will only extract data up to 512 chars per row.
