if you know the transaction code you use to post the uploaded data in SAP, you just need to do BDC recording in using transation SM35. Record the whole process and create a program from the recording... and you wont even need to know the tables and field names-- almost everything will be done for you....
All you need to do is replace record data with upload data.
You can also try to look for a standard Function Module / BAPI which can do the processing for you and provide it with a table containing the upload data ...

  • Field name and table name for the value field

    hi,
i requred the  value field  for  which the quantity that is not delivered in purchase order, so please tell  me which field i have to go for the value field.
    thanks and regards.

    Hi,
There is no direct field to get the PO Open qty(undelivered Qty).
Take the PO quantity for each Item from EKPO-MENGE.
For each PO Item there will be multiple GR(good's receipts) 's in MSEG table.
So pass EBELN and EBELP for MSEG table and Take all the GR Quantities(ERFMG) field and sum up .(have to take care of the Movement type also, becasue there will be some returns and GI's).
Substract the GR qty from PO qty you will get the UNDELIVERED QTY of A PO.

  • Required Field name and Table name

    Hi All,
My customer is extracting DATA from SAP and send it to Oracle. In oracle we have 3 fields
    1. Unapplied Amount: means for example, there is a invoice for $50.00 and customer sends the payment of $100.00, so customer paid $50.00 extra, this $50.00 will be called as a Unapplied amount.
    2. DEPOSIT DATE : Now the day when the  customer sends the payment will be called DEPOSIT DATE
    3. GL_DATE: On the day when invoice gets cleared and updates the GL, will be called as GL_DATE
If any one has any idea regarding the above fields and tables please let me know.
    Thanks & Best Regards

    hello,
if i am right in understanding your question, then you wanted to know the technical details about the project number or should i say project id, from which wbs elements are created, on which we finally place the orders.
if this is what you want, then for getting the prject number for a particular order, at the table level, follow the below steps -
using the po number or order number as an input in ekkn table, along with the po line item, you will get the wbs element for the order number for that particular po line item.
and using this wbs element as an input in prps table, you can find the current project number.
finally using this current project number as an input in the table proj, you can find the project id or project number = proj-pspid
so you will require 3 tables to get the required details.
    hope this helps you.
    Regards,
    Zafar.

  • Which table stores field names and their description?

When I go to se11; I can get information about a table; its field names and field description.
How can I access same information using an ABP Program? I have a third party tool which connects to SAP; it can pull data from any SAP Table or view. I do not know which table or view stores information displayed in SE11.
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi zigzagdna,
The field names and their description are strored in table DD03L and DD03T.
SAP DDIC dictionary informations are generally store in DD* tables. You can search this kinds of DD* tables in SE11 using F4 search help.

  • Batch reading request doesn't prefix field names by table name

A batch reading request doesn't prefix field names by table name and I've got a AmbigiousException which is normal because there is the same fields in the 2 tables.
    The following code :
//call a ReadAllQuery and return a list of AffaireImpl
    List<Affaire> listeAffaire =  affaireDao.getAffaireCorrespondantes(lccJrd, lnaAnnee, lnaOrdre, lcNataffCode, lnaNoSuite);
    for (Affaire affaire : listeAffaire) {
//there is a one to Many mapping on Affaire to Dossier, with Transparent Indirection, Read-Ony and Batch Reading
//this metod generate the wrong batch reading method
       List<Dossier> listeDossiers = affaire.getDossier();
    generates the following requests:
    ReadAllQuery(eu.curia.litige.model.AffaireImpl) --
    SELECT * FROM LA_AFF WHERE ( ((LCC_JRD = 'C') AND (LNA_ANNEE = 8)) AND (LNA_ORDRE = 8))
    ReadAllQuery(eu.curia.litige.model.DossierImpl) --
    SELECT t0.*
    FROM LA_DOSSIER t0, LA_AFF t1
    WHERE
    (((t0.LNA_NO_SUITE = t1.LNA_NO_SUITE) AND ((t0.LCC_JRD = t1.LCC_JRD) AND ((t0.LC_NATAFF_CODE = t1.LC_NATAFF_CODE) AND ((t0.LNA_ANNEE = t1.LNA_ANNEE) AND (t0.LNA_ORDRE = t1.LNA_ORDRE)))))
    AND UPPER(LCC_JRD) = 'C' AND UPPER(LNA_ORDRE) = '8' AND UPPER(LNA_ANNEE) = '8')+
but the request should be :
    SELECT t0.*
    FROM LA_DOSSIER t0, LA_AFF t1
    WHERE
    (((t0.LNA_NO_SUITE = t1.LNA_NO_SUITE) AND ((t0.LCC_JRD = t1.LCC_JRD) AND ((t0.LC_NATAFF_CODE = t1.LC_NATAFF_CODE) AND ((t0.LNA_ANNEE = t1.LNA_ANNEE) AND (t0.LNA_ORDRE = t1.LNA_ORDRE)))))
    AND t1.LCC_JRD = 'C' AND t1.LNA_ORDRE = '8' AND t1.LNA_ANNEE = '8')+
It's strange because this is the only place the batch reading doesn't prefix and uses a UPPER.
For now we have disabled the batch reading, but it decreases the performanes (the list of affaire can be hudge).
    Any Idea?
We use TopLink 10.1.3 on a Oracle 10g Database.
