Hi there! I messed with ''field option" settings and "frame blend" trying to improve some already very low quality footage - and now the motion is playing and exporting stilted/jerky..!! Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated!! does anyone know how to revert back or increase smoothness in motion smooth - it's too late to undo... Frame blend doesn't work! Thank you!!! Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc. -

Why would you do that? That's not how you deal with issues on your iPad, that's how you deal with problems on poorly designed Windows machines.
Try this First...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...

If I locked the restrictions settings and thought I knew the password but didn't apparently, is there a way to unlock it now? How? HELP!
If you've forgotten the code, then was it on the iPad when you last synced/backed up to your computer's iTunes ? If not then you can restore to your backup. If it was on the iPad when you last backed up then you will need to reset the iPad - there is no way to override the code, and if it is on the backup then restoring to it will keep the code in place.

I will +1 Pixelan's products. They are great, simple, and have about the best support that I know of. When you explore, say Pixelan's SpiceMaster, dig deeply. Things appear rather mundane, on the surface, but there is so very much power lurking, just below the surface. I could almost imagine a 1000 page manual to cover every possible aspect of that program... Every time that I use it, I learn something new, and wonderful.

I have multiple iPhoto libraries on my Macbook Air 10.7.5 and when I am selecting which library to view (hold down 'option' key and launch iPhoto from the dock) it automatically closes another open application window eg. Chome, Word. 1 app closes every time I launch iPhoto this way.
If you're pushing Option at the exact moment you're clicking the Dock icon, it's supposed to do that. Wait until just after clicking it.

I SWITCHED PHONES WITH MY WIFE. I WENT INTO SETTINGS AND STORE TO CHANGE THE APPLID BUT IT STILL USES MY WIFE'S APPLID WHEN UPDATING APPS. HOW DO I GET THE APP STORE TO DEFAULT TO MY APPLID?
Any apps that are on the iPhone which were bought / downloaded via your wife's account are tied to her account - so only her account can download updates to those apps. If you remove all her apps and just put yours on then you should be ok.

wi-fi has full bars, says i am conected but never puts a check by the name of network,i have reset settings and it still does the same thing. i dont think it is my wi-fi because my other computers are able to get on just fine. please help.
There are two ends to a wifi network. Try rebooting your router.

All my devices except my iPhone 4S can airprint. Only the 4s tells me no airprint printers found. I see no differences in the settings and I am on the same network as the printer. Like I said, two iPads and an iPhone 4 airprint like a champ!
Appreciate the suggestion and tried it, but still, no joy. I even had another iPhone brought into the network and it found the printer, no problem. It's just this one iPhone 4s. Sounds like a trip to the Genius Bar for me!

Can AE view frame 1 and frame 20 at the same time?
Hi all,
Is there any way to view ,for example, frame 1 on the left view, and frame 20 on the right view?
I tried "Locking" the view in COMP A and look at COMP B.
Although you CAN look at two different images (left & right views) you can ONLY view 2 different images of the same frame number.
I am looking to color grade frame 20 and match it to frame 1.
If there is a way, I forgot how to do it.

LouI assume you mean color correcting between the shots. Color correcting is getting the shot to look "right", color grading is getting the scene to look pretty.
One way is to duplicate your composition, put one at frame 1 and the other at frame 20 and have both comp windows open. This page [link] talks about that a bit. -

You are using Snow Leopard so you have no OPTION+R shortcut. You need to boot the computer from your Snow Leopard DVD or USB flash drive.
Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.
