Field position

I created a report for printing checks, each sheet contains four checks, and that sheet has 22 Width by 30.4 Height.
In Crystal I did a check of 22 Width by 7.6 in height and position in the fields following the layout pre-printed on the sheet.
and that the problem is not sure when I do the printing, the measures I put in the report not be equal in print.
How can I fix this?

I tested on a HP1000 printer and got better, but the printer does not accept the size of the sheet that I need. The maximum width of 21cm it is: (
I put all the margins equal to zero.
I will try to test with another printer, it could be a problem with the Crytal? I am using Crystal in 2008 and the system that makes the print is developed in Visual Studio 2008 C #

Hi Experts,
We are upgrading to SRM 5.0 to SRM 7.0
In Purchase order screen,under account assignment,we want to see the acocunt assignment detailed view as the default view under tab "ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT".Click on the DETAILS button and then the details show up in the bottom part of the screen.
Can anyone advise how do we change the postion of fields in the account assignment tab which are created dynamically.
My requirement is :
Rahmenkostenstelle field should come below Bahnstelle field

Hi,
Did you manage to solve the issue? I've tried to define customizing point "Configure Generic Field Display on User Interface" with no luck.
I've even tried to enhance the corresponding WD Component for SC items detail. Field position is correct in the layout editor, but position changes when fields are rendered in runtime.
Does anybody have any idea regarding related OSS? what am I missing?

I want to change the infotype 0002 field position(first name & lasname)

I have requirement where i have to change the positions of the first name and last name , as pe standard we will see is
the lastname under that field we will se the first name . As per the user he wanted first name and then last name . I have read in sap help that it says the table T522N is the place. But before using i wanted to can i change or is there any method where i can do.
i have changed the name2 as middle name by going to cmod and changing the text label. Here it dint asked me any access key.
similary for chaning the position of the two fields can i do so please let me know if any body has done this.

Hi Divya,
You can't change the position of the fields in standard SAP screens - PA30/20.
This would be repair and you need to get access key to change the 2000 screen of module pool MP000200.
T522N is used to change the name format in reports, etc. (Firstname Lastname or Lastname Firstname) It has nothing to do with the field positions in the screen of PA20/30.

I want to move position of field at run time and also want to set elasticity at run time... can i do that?

No, you can't explicitly move the position at runtime. But you can influence the field-position by hiding other fields in the layout next to the one item to move with elasticity variable or shrink

Problem in Screen field position ( Module pool )

Hi Experts,
We changed the screen field position ( GUI ) of SAP standard module pool program. we had taken the access key from SAP and modified the layout.
Our Problem : We had transported these change request to Quality and Pre Production. The changes are transferred correctly in Quality . when coming to Pre Production the changes are not visible on the screen.
Checks Performed : 1. We had analyzed the Transport request - They are imported correctly.
2. We had rechecked the layout that we had changed its good and correct.
Can you experts help me out in identify the exact solution for this problem.

Hi, no idea can be given without having a look..
but just check the screen layout in the pre-production itself..instead checking transport..

Text data source for the field Position(PLANS)

Hi Experts,
I have an infoobject ZPOSITION which i am using in a cube for this i can able to display key values but i want to display text for this ZPOSITION. The source for this field is Position(PLANS) which i have tacken from pa0001 table.
I have an another infoobject 0HRPOSITION for this i have already loaded data using data source 0HRPOSITION_TEXT.
Is there any other text datasources for this field Position(PLANS)?
And
Is it possible to load data from one info object to another info object?

Hi Sridhar,
Check out in the infotype PA0001 for the check table for this field. In this table you will have the description for the field PLANS (Position).
I request you to catch hold of functional HR team member to know where the text value for the Position (PLANS) is stored. You can get the info from them immeadiatly.
After knowing the table where the text values for Position (PLANS) are stored, you have to create a text datasource using RSO2 transaction and replicate in BW and load data from the R/3 table.

I am not sure whether this will be listed in SPAU during upgrade.
Yes, you didnt require access key to change field positions, add/delete search help parameters which are available in selection method i.e database/view fields for search help.
This change effect the search help assigned to data eleements and tables assigned in SAP, so be caution before doing the change. If your change is specific to a particular instance then go for append search help. Copy the search help and provide this search help as new tab to your standard search help.

Inspecting report field position properties

All,
   Does a way exist to inspect a report fields properties within CR script used in a formula. I know about using code withing the X+2 buttons in the layout tool, but would like to know in a formula what the position and width of any arbitrary report field in the detail band might be.

Thanks for responding. I need to do this at run time.
    1) Suppose I had 25 columns and each was associated with a boolean report parameter that allowed the user to toggle columns off and on.
    2) Further suppose the user decided that she does not need columns 7, 12, and 20.
     I want to do the following:
         1) suppress columns 7,12,20 (this is easy)
         2) move the remaining columns 8 and greater the appropriate twips to the left.
     I can do all this now but I must "hard code" the field position into a string with delimiters which I later split into an array to use in determining the x offset (if any) for each unsuppressed column.    Life would be easier if one could just inspect the X position of any field. Please let me know if this helps in understanding the problem.

Sort table by field position?

Is it possible to sort a table by field position? For example, I have table ITAB with a 4 character field F1. I want to sort the table first by the 3rd position ( itab-f12(1) ) ascending then the 4th position ( itab-f13(1) ) descending.
data: begin of itab occurs 0,
          f1(4),
        end of itab.
itab-f1 = '01AC'.
append itab.
itab-f1 = '02AB'.
append itab.
itab-f1 = '01CD'.
append itab.
itab-f1 = '02CA'.
append itab.
sort itab...
I thought about using TRANSLATE with a rule and converting each position to a numeric value (then transfer the value to a new 'sort' field), but I wasn't sure if there was an easier way.
The sorted table should read: '01AC' ; '02AB' ; '01CD' ; '02CA'

I am getting this message multiple times in jfserver.log and then adobe is stalling and nothing gets printed.
Any clue?

JFMain is underlying, not a physical page in this template. How do I figure out what's causing this? and how do I fix it?

I saw that in the SCREEN Structure there aren't any fields to set the position. Is there a Function Module or a Class to do that?

Matchcode of field position (HR)

I want to reproduce the matchcode of position field in Infotipe 1 into another field but it does not work. I am using the help values H_T528B for this field which is the one is being used for field position in infotype 1 (structure P0001) but still does not work.
Do you know how to make it works? or how to reproduce the matchcode?

MDMP : Language assignmet Table RFDT Field Position 0

Hello Team,
During the Language assignmet we have notice that there are few Tables are identified in Field Position 0.
For example : In SPUM4 Vocabulary Table RFDT have words.
For the words in Table RFDT are identified in Filed 0 .
I would like to know how to proceed with the words having Filed 0 in Hint Management.

Hi Santosh,
RFDT is an INDX type table. I assume the words you are referring to are caused by the content of the CLUSTD field.
Looking at the structure of the table, I am unable to find an appropriate field for a hint (however maybe someone with more application knowledge might have a different opinion).
If there is no hint possible (and all other automatic assignment do not work), it is necessary to do a manual assignment.

How to rearrange field positions in the user form

I have added some fields to user creation form, i want to rearrange these fields (like i want to keep some fields which i created in the begining and some in the end ) .is it possible to rearrange the fields.If, can anybody help me by giving detailed steps.

To rearrange your User Defined Fields you just have to edit the "order" column in the UDF Form in Design Console.
If you want to put an User Defined Field between the Default Fields, the process is a bit more complex:
1) Set the field property VISIBLE to false.
2) Open the FormMetadata.xml file (oim_server_home\xellerate\config\FormMetadata.xml).
3) Declare your UDF there, just before the line <Form name="3"> (this is the create user form):
(e.g.)
<Attribute name="-1003" label="Country" displayComponentType="ComboBox" variantType="String" dataLength="1" map="USR_UDF_COUNTRY">
<ValidValues lookupCode="Lookup.Country" selectionColumn="lkv_encoded"/>
</Attribute>
4) Finally add the reference to this field to the <Form name="3"> section, in the desired position:
(e.g.)
<AttributeReference editable="true" optional="true">-1003</AttributeReference>
An important note is that (in my experience) this procedure only works for optional fields. I don't know why it fails when I do it with mandatory fields.

It goes something like this

You need to enhance the above standard code using BADI in order to change the position of fields in selection criteria according to customer requirement.
