Field Purchasing Group is disable in Shopping Cart

Hi Expert,
I have an issue in Shopping Cart. When i create Shopping cart in SRM, field for Purchasing Group is disable.
I don't know why it's happened.
Because of this, when i create PO from SC in SRM (From Source of Supply), field purchasing group and purchasing organization in PO window is disable also and has no value (blank). And we can not edit the value also.
Coud you help me please?

Did you maintain Purch Group's Responsibility tab with Org ID of the user Org and responsible Prod categories.
Then this Purch grp will be picked up when user from that org unit is created the SC.

Try using the BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI.
Method BBP_SC_UI_CTRL.
Use the fieldname and try hiding it by setting parameter CV_INPUT_READY = ' '
CASE IV_FIELDNAME.
WHEN 'fieldname'.
CV_INVISIBLE = ' '.
CV_INPUT_READY = ' '.
ENDCASE.

Addition of new column /field PO number in list of shopping carts

We are working on SRM 6.0
We want to add new column (field) PO number in list of shopping carts on the Shopping Carts tab

Standard report BBP_BW_SC2 available in that we can see the shopping cart status and follow on document (PO) information

Adding field "name_3" to shipping address in shopping cart

Hey community,
we want to show some more shipping adress fields in the shopping cart (SRM 7.13).
Quite simple, we thought... only the existent field "NAME_3" should be displayed. But we were not able to do that.
Normally, we have to announce new fields and metadata in SPRO - SAP Supplier Relationship Management - SRM Server - Cross-Application Basic Settings - Extensions and Field Control (Personalization) - Configure Field Control - Configure Control for Fields of Substructures - Metadata for Fields of Substructures and Table-Like Enhancements.
But the two new fields are not displayed in the shopping cart.
Any ideas?

Hello Werner,
check in V_DODC_SHIPTO view from /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_DO_SHIPTO Web Dynpro Component if field exists in layout.
In SRM 7.0, 'NAME_3' is not used. Maybe it is the reason of your problem...

Here are the steps....
1. Create a Custom field in SRM and append it to SC table structures in SRM
2. Add this field to the Custom field config for meta data at Item level in IMG>SRM Server> Cross application basic settings> Extensionsand and field control> Configure field control --> Configure control of fields at item level
3. THen find the respective web dynpro application and component for the shopping cart portal UI screen where you want the field to appear. You can do this by right click on the screen area and then select More Field Help
4. Go to SE 80 and enhance the respective webdynpro view by adding the custom field to the Context of the VIew and then adding it to the layout of the view at respective location. After doing this create a binding between the layout field and the context.....

Including a field from a catalogue in 'create shopping cart' display screen

I am new to SRM, and i am faced with the following situation:
I need to include a field called 'supplier part number'(found in the MDM catalogue screen) in the display for 'Create Shopping Cart' screen. The field can be viewed in the detailed display for an individual item, once the item's details are fetched from the catalog; But now i need to include this field as an additional field corresponding to all the items listed in the normal display for 'Item overview' instead of selecting an individual item (from the 'item overview') and then checking its 'detailed display' . can you please give me any leads like - where i could possibly do the changes in the webdynpro component ( in my case it is ' /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_SC_DOTC_BD'; view - 'v_sc_dotc_basic') and any other details that can help me.

Music selected for purchase not showing in my shopping cart

Lately I've been having this problem where I do an Itunes search for some music. When it shows up I click the "Add album" button which should put it into my shopping cart. Then when I want to check out, the music isn't in my cart. When I try to re-add I get a message from Itunes saying the item is already in my cart and can't be added again. I return to my cart and it still isn't there so I can't purchase it. I'm on auto-upgrades for so my version of Itunes should be current. This doesn't happen every time but often enough that I've noticed and its really getting annoying.
Very frustrating when it happens ! Anyone else have this problem ? If so what is it ?

I read through this thread because I'm having the identical problem. The thread doesn't really give a solution to the problem ....just that for [you] it resolved itself mysteriously.
What I'd like is the opportunity to empty my cart, but I can't since there's nothing there to empty.
My main concern is that, since when I try to re-add the item, I get the message stating that it's already in my cart, when [and if] I do use the cart to buy something else, will these items be download, or will it download only the items that are visible. This is all new to me since I've only ever used the one-click buying option without the cart. Is this an idiosyncracy of the software, the server, the individual purchased item, or what???
Any and all suggestions welcome.

Add custom field in the selection screen for shopping cart monitor report

Hello,
refering to the notes 458591 an 672960, in order to add custom field at item level, we get the structure INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF.
But this doesnt make it appear on the "Shopping Cart Monitor Report" selection screen.
So should I try adding it in the existing interface of the badi bbp_sc_mon ?

ok I will implement that. Is it possible to change the interface of the badi method to include more data if we want to check the role of the user who is executing the shopping cart monitor report and accordingly do the settings of field display ? Or calling a function module inside the method to get the attributes of sy-uname would be easier?

Accoung Assignment tab is disable during shopping cart creation

Hi Gurus,
Ned your expert advice on this issue.
We are using SRM7.0 classic scenario. During configuration, under SPRO>Supplier Relationship Management>SRM Server>Cross Application Basic Settings>Account Asisgnment, we define Account assignment categories, define G/L account for Product Category and Account assignment Category and no entry under Maintain Local Accounting Data.
However during shopping cart creation, Account Assignment tab is disable. We cannot even add line item and throwing an error. We assigned therequired entries under PPOSA_BBP but still unable to complete the shopping cart.
Please advice how to resolve the issue.

Adding a field from a catalogue in 'create shopping cart' display screen

I am new to SRM and i am faced with the following situation:
I need to add a field called 'supplier part number' to the 'create shopping cart' screen from the MDM catalogue. Once the entries for the field 'supplier part number' are fetched from MDM catalog, they must be displayed corresponding to every line line item displayed under 'item overview'. Currently the entry for 'supplier part number' for a given item is displayed in the 'detailed display' tab observed after clicking on the line item under consideration. But, I need to add this field to the items list under 'item overview' rather than restricting it to detailed display tab alone.
in my case the webdynpro component associated with adding item details from MDM catalogue is '/SAPSRM/WDC_UI_SC_DOTC_BD' and the view is 'v_sc_dotc_basic'. I am not able to locate the method/section of code that is responsible for fetching the entries in the field 'supplier part number' from MDM CATALOG to the item overview screen.
can you please give me any leads like - where i could possibly do the changes in the webdynpro component and any other details that can help me add the 'supplier part number' field to details under items overview tab.

Field type for approval change in shopping cart approval

Hi,
Can anyone tell me where i define the type of field where i can choose a approver when i want to change the approver of a shoppingcart?
Shoppingcart last screen before pressing order -> Approval preview -> press on the user who is to approve.
Then a screen at the bottom comes with the oppertunity to search for initials of a new approver, i am quite sure i have seen this as a drop down box at some point.
Is there someplace where i can set this field to be a drop down box instead of a search box?

Thanks for the reply but in this badi i cannot add approvers to any list are you sure your not thinking of the badi called BBP_CHNG_AGNT_GET?
We used this badi to set the initials of the users that were in the drop down box (That now has disapeared) But now no users are sent to the badi. The badi gets hit when i put a break point in the code.
I am quite sure there is some place this is customized up cos even if i put users in the exporting table of this badi the search box is still there and the users i added to the table have dissapeard.

I'd like to seek assistance on how to check setup of the catalog items because each item is tagged to a specific purchasing group which appears during shopping cart creation. I will just inquire where to change or add purchasing groups that are available for the item.

Disable GL Account Field for editing in the Shopping Cart SRM 7.0

Hi,
We would like to disable the GL Account field for editing only on the Shopping Cart Approval Screen. I tried to implement this through configuration of Metadata Dynamic Class in SPRO->SRM Application Server ->Cross Application Basic Settings->Extension & Field Control ->Configure Control for Fields of substructure. But the class is not getting triggered.
Any help would be appreciated. We are on SRM 7.0

Try to activate the view and component and then see. If this does not works, create an enhancement for the view and write the below code in method WDDOMODIFYVIEW
DATA btn_confirm TYPE REF TO cl_wd_button.
btn_confirm ?= view->get_element( 'AUTO_CONFIRMATION' ).
if btn_confirm is BOUND.
btn_confirm->SET_TEXT( value = 'Confirmation' ).
endif.
This code will set the button text as 'Confirmation' .

Grey out the purchase group fields in SRM 7.0 ?

Hi Experts,
We have a requirement where in we need to grey out the purchasing group field in the item section of shopping cart screen . we are using SRM 7.0 portal. So that users cannot change the defualt pruchasing group.
Is there a way where we can make this invisible without making any changes to the standard code.
We have checked the below path, we are not getting the correct field for purchasing group in that.
SRM -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic settings -> Extension and Field Control (Personalization) -> Control Actions -> Display Standard Metadata for Actions on Substructure Level Regards
Any Help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

how to disable sharing shopping cart on multi-site, but i need a single shopping cart for a single site.Kindly suggest some points

If every site is supposed to have its own cart, there is no need to create any site groups. A site that lives outside of any group will have its own cart. The only exception to that is if you remove /atg/commerce/ShoppingCartShareableType from the configuration of /atg/multisite/SiteGroupManager.shareableTypes. In that case, all sites will share a single cart component.
