Field value disappeared when saved in Quick Sales Order form
HI,
We have developed a custom form which is similar to the Find Customer Search form in Quick Sales Order form (Navigate to Tools --> Find Customer).
The custom form searches Customer and populates the selected customer details in Quick Sales Order form (populating the values in Quick Sales Order form is handled in Custom.pll).
When we select Bill to or Ship to Contact in the Quick Sales Order form and save the Order, the Bill to and Ship to Contacts are disappeared (If the Bill to and Ship to Sites are not Primary).
Can anyone please help me on this...

Check if 'Audit Trail' is setup in OM Parameters for the OU.
Also check if "Processing Constraints" are setup correctly.
For Qty reduction we need to add a new row called "delete".

When I am reducing the quantity of a booked sales order, its giving me message that "You must specify reason for the change" but reason field in quick sales order form is not editable. The same functionality is working fine in standard sales order form.Check if 'Audit Trail' is setup in OM Parameters for the OU.
Also check if "Processing Constraints" are setup correctly.

Display a Source Type field at Quick Sales Order Form
Hi Friends
i'm trying to display the Source type field (Internal Or External) at Quick sales order form
the field is not appears at LOV of folder
at Personalize at new form instance change the property of displayed for source type to TRUE and adjust the X andY coordinates but after all that also the field is bot displayed

at the folder you have to add the Shipping tab , place the cursor at any field of it and click at show field the source type will appear

OM: Disable auto refresh check box in Quick Sales Order Form
hi,everyone
In screen [Quick Sales Order Form],
we want to let the auto refresh check box always be checked and can not be updated with Form personalize.
I didn't find the item in this form,
and i konw that there is a value which defined in the Profile : [OM: Quick Sales Order Form: Auto Refresh](ONT_QUICK_OE_AUTO_REFRESH).
Can anyone give me some suggestions?

Actualy,the profile "OM: Quick Sales Order Form: Auto Refresh" has been setted into 'Line' firstly as we want to auto-refresh order lines.
So the 'auto refesh' checkbox is checked with default value in the screen,
but the order line would not be auto-refreshed when user uncheck the checkbox manually.
So we want to disable or invisible the 'auto refesh' item in the screen with form personalize,
the problem is i can not find the item or the block in the form.
Or is there any suggestions to archive this?

Issue while updating(Changing) quantity on line at quick sales order form
Hi,
I am facing a issue while changing quantity ordered on the order line in quick sales order form. (R12.1.3)
Although the same logic works exactly as required in 11.5.9.
There is a custom logic, post booking line status is Awaiting Shipping.
Now when quantity is changed +(Saved), the status changes to a custom state but at the same time a new row is created with the same line id but different reservation id in the MTL_RESERVATIONS.
The quantity here is the difference between the original quantity and the new entered quantity.
And post completion of the custom logic the original row is updated, but being there a additional row the quantity reserved at the shipping tab comes wrong.
Our requirement is of update which is happening but not the additional insert which is going into MTL_RESERVATIONS.
The logic is perfect in 11.5.9 and no additional insert is being made.
Kindly help and give some ideas for the possible reason the issue.
Please ask for more information if required.

I have gone through the note id that you have given. sorry to say that, that is refering to diffrent issue.
Actually what i did is, At form header level, I have hide the fileds using the folder options. once after changes I have closed the form and re-opened it. by that time I can see that Button names got changed in bottom of the "Quick sales order form". Not sure how it become changed. there five buttons over the form, only two button names got changed.
Kindly suggest any other options. -
Quick Sales Order Form Enter Query(F11) and Execute Query(Clt+F11) Problem

I am having a Problem in Quick Sales Order Form. When I am entering a New Sales Order and Book the Order it is working fine. And Now I want to Query the Sales Order If the Same New Order Number has Queried then It is Properly Queried. But If I am trying to Query Some Other Existing Sales Order other than the new one then It Shows the Error Messgae as Query Caused No Records to be Retrived. We have R12 12.1 Instance.
Can anyone Helpme in Solving this Issue will be highly appriciable.

Have you tried to regenerate the form via adadmin and see if it helps?
Do you have any invalid objects in the database?
You may try to obtain the FRD log file and see if more details about the issue are collected in the logs.

Calcluated fields dissapearing when saving? (And other order form issues)
I am trying to make an order form for my company. I have three columns, quantity, rate, and total. The form itself was imported from an Excel document, and the "Rate" column was already filled in. I made "Qty" a fillable field, "rate" a hidden and read only field, and "Total" a calculated field that is the product of "Qty" and "Rate".
In Acrobat Pro, when I click "Preview", everything seems to work fine. Once I save it, close the file, and try to open it in Apple Preview or Adobe Reader on Windows, it doesn't work. When I reopen the file in Acrobat Pro, the calculated fields are set back to "value is not calculated".
I have spent a LOT of time on this form, and now it seems that all of my work has just dissapeared. Not to mention when Acrobat decided to just up and quit on me, corrupt my file, and delete it. Luckily I work in Versions, and save a different file everytime I save. But then I had to go back and edit all the fields to make them calcluate, only to lose them when i save.
I have two questions here. First, is this the correct way to be doing an order form, or is there an easier, more reliable workflow? Second, why doesn't Acrobat Pro save my field properties?
I'm on Acrobat Pro XI on OSX 10.8.5

Thank you in advance for your help!Apple Preview is a known "assassin" of PDF forms, and tends to corrupt them in many ways. Avoid using it as much as possible! Even just opening a PDF file in it can cause it to be irreparably corrupt.
Having said that, I did notice a bug in Acrobat XI that causes scripts to "disappear" when you open the Calculate or Validate tab. This happened to me mostly when a custom code was used, and I don't know of a way to prevent it or predict when it happens... It's rare, though. -
Change Condit.origin field value from C to A in sales order

We have to maintain Condit.origin field in Item-Conditions-Details in Sales Order.
Path -
Open a sales order, now db click on one line item and select conditions tab. Now db click on JMOD condition. After that you will see the Item-Conditions-Details. Now please see the Condit.origin under Control data heading.
In my system, it is automatically selecting C - Manually entered and it is non-changeable. How can i change it to A - Automatic pricing.
Plz guide..We are creating Condition record in VK11 with below shown inputs:

Select Sales organization radio button and enter
now we are creating a new Excise condition entry.

Is this a bug? master rowid value lost when saving on a master/detail form
master/detail forms seem to lose the rowid after saving, if the unique identifier is set to ROWID
to reproduce the problem:
1) create a master detail form on DEPT/EMP
-- choose 'Managed by Database (ROWID)' on the 'Define Primary Key' page.
-- do not include master row navigation (but i don't think this matters)
-- choose 'Edit detail as tabular form on same page' on the 'Choose Layout' page
-- include the master report
2) on the master/detail page, change the conditional branch that returns to the master report page
-- the normal condition for this branch is request in SAVE,DELETE,CREATE
-- change it to request in DELETE,CREATE
3) run the form and save a change
-- saves fine, session shows the ROWID value is still set
4) save a second change
-- change does not save, form reverts to Create mode

Bug *13563808* has been logged to track the reported issue, and a fix will be made available in a future release. Just to clarify, this issue is only arising when the APEX-generated Master-Detail is modified post-generation, so for users who have not modified their Master-Details using ROWID to manage their DML processes, they should not experience this issue.
In relation to my workaround, my suggestion works in my test environment, which I verified before posting the initial suggestion. Please note that the 'Reset Page' process is, by default, conditional on the "Delete" button being pressed. If you have made further modifications to your Master-Detail page, then this might explain why you're seeing different behaviour to me. You might using the "Debug" option on the Developer Toolbar useful. Viewing the debug information should help you to decipher what's going on/wrong on your page. If you still can't resolve the issue, then the safest option might be to revert the page back to it's original state, meaning the user navigates back to the Report page upon submitting changes to the Master-Detail Form page.

Order of buttons on quick sales order header
Hello,
We recently applied the december 2009 OM rollup patch in one of our development environment for testing and came to find that the order of the buttons on the quick sales order form OEXOETEL was changed to alphabetical ordering. So the only way we can restore the original order that they were in before the patch is to pre pend 1,2,3,...to the user entered prompt name when you go to folder-->save as... . I can't seem to find any kind of information on metalink or the forums. Is this expected? and is there a better way to get the buttons back in the same order other than pre pending numbers to the button labels? I am trying to restrict the Customer Number LOV to only show one specific account_number.
The thing i am not able to understand there is Builtin Type = Create Record Group from Query. I am not finding anything like Create Record Group from Query. I could see Do_key or go_item or go_block from builtin type dropdown. How do i approach here.
Can anyone help me in this regard.

If memory serves, I think this functionality became available with 11.5.10 CU2 but don't quote me.
Given your stated requirement of restricting the LOV to one value, and if you don't have the means to use a custom record group for the reason above, have you considered using a different personaliztion to just assign the value you want to the customer number field and then prevent access to the field? This approach has a couple of drawbacks (assigning a value will give you a 'Do you want to save' message whether or not you've entered any other info) but will give the same end result.

AET Generated field values are not saved.
Hi Gurus,
I have created two AET fields on the screen (marked below) and that should store values in table CRMD_CUSTOMER_H. When I create a new service request and enter the values and save, AET field values are not saved. Again, when I edit the same service request and enter the values and save , AET field values are saved on the database.
While debugging I found that, relationship BTHeaderCustExt does not exist for the first time and second time onward its appearing. Due to this, data is not being saved at first time (Line no 27 : current is empty).
When tried to create realtionship using create_related_entity , it throwing exception cx_crm_genil_model_error.
Please advice me the soution for the same.

In Sales Order form populate charges field after saving the Sales Order
Can we populate Charges field in Sales Order form after saving the sales Order automatically.
The charges to be calculated based on the amount entered and the item selected in Sales Order.
In the Manual process it is done by hitting the Actions Button and then select the Charges.
The charge type would be "Freight Costs"by using process_order API, I am able to update the charges field.
