Fields for Absences/attendences (BW HR) Datasources 0HR_PT_1/ 0HR_PT_2

Hi Friends,
I am extracting data from the following 2 data sources0HR_PT_1 and 0HR_PT_2 and loading it to the cube 0PT_C01 as part of time management(HR). I have a requirement, where in the ABSENSES and ATTENDENCES should also be extracted. But the standard Datasources does not have the field SUBTY which is available in V_554S_B .
Can anybody please tell me what is the corresponding feild for SUBTY used in either of the datasources.
I have searched this in the sdn forum and also the goole, but din't find anything on this.

I found it, its a field called REPTT (Reporting Time Type) is the field which has the info.

Report for absences

Hi Friendsl,
I need to create a absences report displaying the list of absences with the absence quota being deducted for the absence along with no.of days used in the quota and the year to which the quota belongs.I have checked in infotype 2001 but they is no field for absence quota deducted by the absence.
Suppose if have the quotas as below in infotype 2006
3 days from 2005
30 days 2006
30 days 2007
I take 6 days of vacation in year 2006 through infotype 2001.This 6 days vacation has to be 3 days from quota of 2005 and 3 days from quota of 2006.
The report should display this information as a list.
Can anyone provide sample code on this..

Delta Specific Field for LTAP

Hi guys,
    I tried using Field EDATU Date of Pick Confirmation (First Step) as Delta - Specific Field for one of my View Datasource on Table LTAP.
    However no DELTA's recieved for the past one month
    Can someone suggest another field in table LTAP that I can use.

I have the same issue and have not found a suitable field. Now I am doing a full load with a routine selection on a combination of QDATU and EDATU into an DSO and have a delta from the DSO to the cube. If you get sorted with teh delta, please post the solution...

The CO-PA DataSources generated use a separate time stamp method for the delta procedure. This procedure means that client-independent DataSources in CO-PA are normally restricted to the clients in which they were generated.

Change field labels for Absence Notification

Hi Folks,
I wonder how can I change a standard label for fields in absence notification window of ESS.
For instance, the standard spanish translation for "Absence Type" is "Clase de Vacaciones" and the client want it to be "Tipo de Ausencia".
How can I achive that?

Thanks Vivek, your answer was very helpful, however that's only to change the application description that goes in ESS overview screen, i want to change the labels that appear within the webdynpro application.
For intance, change the label "Absense Type" by "Type" only.

How to get a Field for Selection in 8 Datasource

Hello All,
We have a scenario where in we need to change the Generated Export Datasource (8Z******) and check one more field for Selection, so that it appears in the Data Selection tab in InfoPackage.
But I am not able to do that. I tried to change the transfer Structure for the same but to no luck. I also tried to change the Data Source in RSA6, but even that dint helped.
In Ideal cases it should have taken all the Characteristic fields as Selection when the Export DS is generated, but for this particular case it took only 6 fields by default. I need to have one more field.
Can anyone help me with this..??
NOTE: We are working on 2004s.

Hi,
for Export DataSources, you can only use selections for Full-Update mode, when using the 3.x functionalities.
But in 2004s, you can assign selections in your DTP.
So the you'll export via export DataSource into the PSA and then perform selections via DTP onto the PSA-Data.

Delta field for LO Extractor Datasources

Hi All,
Can anyone tell me how to find the delta field for LO Extractor. Because currently i am facing some problem in Delta like, if i do any changes in sales order in Item Level those changes are not reflected in RSA7. And the next change if i do it in header level i cld see the change along with my previos change being displayed. Problem is i dont find as seperate record for my changes in ITEM level.
Ex. x 3040404 001 oooo ppppp oooo hhhh kkkk
3040404 001 oooo bbbbb oooo hhhh kkkk - this is for header level chnage
Item level chnage: Not shown as seperate records
Next header change displayed properly as above.
Pls advise me this is a very urgent issue.

Onething to tell is i am handling diff clients. All my clients r using 3.5 except this client. Very Unfortunate. They r using 2.1c. Its long back i used this version
In LBWE i found they have only one update type i.e V3 update.
I have checked SM13 also. There is one update records for each change in header level data. Also this time i found when i change Route i found one update record. But not when i change Schedule line date.
Pls let me know if u need any further info. Anyideas welcome.

Extracting data to datasource 0HR_PT_1, data does not reflect in structure.

I have already enhanced datasource 0HR_PT_1 to include the 4 fields I need from table T549Q (PABRJ PABRP BEGDA ENDDA) and I am trying to write the extract to move the data, but I seem to be having issues. The correct data is stored in an internal table with a header line, and it is also being looped through.I am doing a 'READ TABLE <itab> BINARY SEARCH and then a MOVE statement to move the fields from the internal table to the data source fields, along with a MODIFY table statement. The data is not populating, even though it is in the internal table, any suggestions?

Field for 'Delivered Quantity'

Hi experts,
I need to create a report with Quantities for Requested Delivery Qty, Goods Issued Qty and Delivered Qty. I am looking for the appropriate datasource, please advice. The report also needs to mention Sales doc # (and Purchase Order # if possible). Need advice if 2LIS_12_VCSCL is the right one?
My second question is how to calculate GI Date? I was wondering if I take the key fig 0GIDATE and choose aggregation as 'Maximum' and 'First Value'. I mean in ECC, when purchase order is received, the system calculates a goods issue date based on the requested delivery date and route(and transition time). My point is if the 'First value' of the kf 0GIDATE is equal to the first date from system generated '0GIDATE'? If this is right, then I don't have to create additional field and user exit to populate the gidate based on the requested delivery date. Please help.

Goods issue data as per the order
Actual goods issued date
I could not find a field for 'goods issue date as per the order' as it has to be calculated from 'Requested Del Date' minus 'Transit time'. This transit time comes from 'Route'.
But from your input, is '0GI_DATE_GH' from the order or physical issue date? Btw, I took the following fields and objects and realized they are not perfect:
KWMNG       Order qty(for qty from the Sales Order)        0CML_OR_QTY
VSMNG_L     Dely qty                                                    0DLV_QTY

How to use the manually entered Hours/Days in the Duration field for BG_ABSENCE_DURATION fast formula?
Requirement is to restrict employees for applying for leave more than the accrued balance. In SSHR, apply leave functionality, the employee enters the start date, end date and duration manually. The entered duration must be used in the fast formula to check against available balance.
In the BG_ABSENCE_DURATION FF, I have a function to calculate the net accrual balance as on the calculation date.
I want to add the logic as - If to_number(Duration) /*[manually entered value]*/ > net accrual balance then
Duration = 'FAILED'
invalid_msg = 'Error'
return duration, invalid_msg

Hi,
We have a standard functionality to override the duration calculation and you don't need to add a validation for the same. Please set the value of profile option HR: Absence Duration Auto Overwrite to Yes
When you do this user will not have to enter the duration value manually. It will get auto calculated based on the duration calculation in BG_ABSENCE_DURATION when you click on the next button.
For not allowing negative leaves to be applied, If you are on R12 then, this is a standard functionality and you need to set profile option HR Allow Absence Negative Balance to No
If you are on 11i then refer Note: 268171.1: How Do You Stop Accrual Plans from Going Negative?

Field for HR extractor

I am looking for some field for Time and labour based 0PT_C01cube .In reports I need to have Shift (day or night) and absence type as well.
Can someone help me to get the mapping for this field from R/3 to BW if exists else I will have to go for enhancing the Extract structure.

New field will not show in the Datasource

I enhanced a datasource by adding a new field in the append structure and when I saved and activated and when into RSA5 or RSA6 then double clicked on the datasource my ZZ field does not show at the end. Anyone know why this is?

Once you have appended the structure .
In RSA6 you need to go to the purticular datasource (In change Mode) and need to uncheck the option *HIDE field for the field you have appended .
After you Uncheck that field save and exit.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to show the SharePoint document library in GridView.
You need to get hold of the SPFile object, which is a property of a ListItem item, and get the ServerRelativeUrl property. Then you need to add code to an <a> tag .
