Fields Like Category and Buttons Like Edit on Desktop Calendar Are Suddenly Blank!

not sure what the problem is. the preview calendar on the upper right just shows a dot, but not the dates!

I find that shared video can be troublesome, a few haven't appeared to work as you describe but have done when I've looked at a later date. Hopefully they will work if you give them a bit longer. perhaps it would be a good idea if you make sure they are working before deleting them from the camera roll.

Making a field read only (and bound) or editable depending on some criteria

Hi,
I am using Netweaver 2004s SP15 and Adobe Lifecycle Designer 7.1 with Web Dynpro for Java.
I am generating a PDF that contains a number of fields that are bound context values attribues.
Now I know according to certain criteria if any given field will have a value....
Now if such a given field has a value then it must populate the Adobe form and make that field read-only - so it can not be changed.
However, if that field has no value.. instead I need to make it editable.
I am re-implementing the application this will be used within; and the previous version had 8 different interactive forms to cater for the 8 different possible combinations of fields that would not have values.
I would really really prefer to have one interactive form to maintain with logic in it that determines dynamically if a field should be read-only or editable. (For example I could have a boolean context node that could be used)
Am I doomed to have to create 8 different forms? Or is there a way of doing this smarter?

I did a search through the forum using the phrase "javascript" and it turned out a lot posts that indicate that this should indeed be possible.
I am boggled, the original application was developed by an Indian outsourcing company that is well respected. The developer who took over maintenance of it told me that it was impossible to change the read only nature of the fields once set at design-time.
My search through the forum has turned up much to indicate that this design was idiotic and the "facts" I was given completely wrong.
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... I am marking this as answered now. I will have to learn some javascript.
Are there any caveats for using it within WDJ?
I am assuming I can do something simple in pseudo-code.. (I will need to work out the Javascript version).

If the icons have a black arrow bottom left corner, then the icons are just aliases, not the Application itself. You can move those icons to the Trash.

Some missing thumbnails and can't edit names in iPhoto 08

Hi there,
I have a problem with some images in iPhoto. Had a crash a while ago and had to re-install everything from a back-up and I thought I could just drag a few recent events from back-up into the iPhoto folder structure on the hard disc (stupid I now realise after checking these discussions). The only problem is that the thumbnail image for the event is blank, and the thumbnail images inside the event are all blank too, though when double clicking them they open the right images.
Can I recover the thumbnails without re-importing them properly? (I have lots of slideshows etc set-up on this large (90GB) library) btw. Saw a post about dragging the few events from the 'Originals' folder back into iPhoto, would this be an option?
Also, I can't edit the event names - you can type but nothing happens after that.
(iPhoto08 - Version 7, Running on a PowerMac G5 1.8, pretty much as a music server, with storage for iPhoto, 10.4.11).

SP2013 Calendar Overlays, Filter by Category, and Double entry issues

I have scoured the internet and have come up with NOTHING that covers this issue. I hope that someone here will prove me wrong. I am in the process of deploying a company intranet using the SP2013 software.
Currently I am focused on Calendar features. I am building Branch specific pages and calendars I am running into issues where I cannot color code the calendar efficiently. Specifically, I have built the calendar app part for the given site.
I have then added the appropriate filters, Closings, Meeting, Overflow. By following instructions online the thrid "overflow" filter is intended to catch all uncategorized entries. I can display the calendar, and apply the overlays and
the color code appears, my problem is that I am getting double entries for each. I have getting one entry for the calendar with the color code applied for the given category, and a second in the default calendar color. How do i get rid of the default
entry? I cannot remove it from the list of calendars being displayed.
Please help. I have 34 Branch calendars to build and 10 department calendars to work out.

According to your post, my understanding is that SharePoint 2013 Calendars Overlay had Double entry issues.
Please make sure you create Calendars Overlay correctly.
As you said, there were duplicate events on your calendar.
This happens when you don’t create a calendar view with a filter where the category is blank. This view gives you a blank calendar, and the calendar overlays sit on top of it.
If you don’t use this blank calendar view, you are just adding the color-coded events on top of the existing calendar events.

HT2506 I use Preview to edit photos, and would like to know if there are any Preview updates in the works. I find there is a problem with Preview crashing, or taking a very long time to "catch up" (spinning beachball of death) while I'm editing.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Enter the name of the crashed application or process in the Filter text field. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).

Sometimes when I click in text fields (like to fill out a captcha), I get a pop-up ad and Firefox immediately switches to it, leaving the tab blank.

My problem is pretty much this, if I can explain it well enough: when I click on certain text fields, like to input the answer to a captcha, for instance, I constantly get pop-up ads and Firefox will switch to the pop-up, leaving the entire page that I was on before blank as if I opened a new tab.
This started a while ago and I'd been trying to just deal with it, but it's really starting to drive me up the wall. Is there a fix to this? I'm sure it happened when I went to about:config to try and fix something about text auto-filling. I can't say whether I did that right or wrong, considering my text doesn't autofill anymore, but now I have this annoying problem.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.

I would like to be able to download new PDF's and make edits on existing PDF's on either device and have those edits and new PDFs synced to the other device. I would also like to have my library available on the iPad even if there isn't a wifi connection (i.e., not on the cloud). Is that possible. I don't mind if I have to purchase a separate product or a product upgrade ect.

You can't use an external hard drive like you would with a computer.
You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)
When you first connect the USB flash drive, you will only see thumbnails of the pics on the iPad; you have to import the pic file to see the full size. With your large library of pics, you will have to do this repeateably and then delete pics so you don't exceed your memory capacity.

Ask the user to go to SU3 tcode. Then go to defaults tab. There is a field called Decimal Notation. There are three formats as below
1.234.456,789
1,234,456.789
1 234 456,789
Select accordingly. Then quit SAP and relogin. The changes will be applied.

I'm having an issue on the last two site files I have opened and it driving my crazy. I'm getting the yellow hilighted warning message. I open a file and where it states Source Code I get a numbers for example: 876948422.js then in the yellow highlighted it states: 876948422.js is a remote file and cannot be edited. [close] and this close looks like a clickable link.
I seen this on the first file last Friday and I freaked out because I have heard of bandits stealing traffic and comissions from affiliates and I though someone hi-jacked my page and was stealing my stuff because I have gotten zero results from all my sites with this style email Opin page while Google tracking software has been showing atleast a little activity on these sites.
So every web site that used that email Opin page I completely deleted. I even deleted them from my testing server on my local machine. I don't know if there is any software out there that can clean my machine of this kind of intruduer if that is what it is.
Now I just opened another file which I took into Dreamweaver. I copied all the code and did a paste and this file has the js file as well. What is going on here..... help!!!
It has the same file type with warning has someone completely taken over my machine through Dreamweaver or...

In general theory, one now has the Edit button for their posts, until someone/anyone Replies to it. I've had Edit available for weeks, as opposed to the old forum's ~ 30 mins.
That, however, is in theory. I've posted, and immediately seen something that needed editing, only to find NO Replies, yet the Edit button is no longer available, only seconds later. Still, in that same thread, I'd have the Edit button from older posts, to which there had also been no Replies even after several days/weeks. Found one that had to be over a month old, and Edit was still there.
Do not know the why/how of this behavior. At first, I thought that maybe there WAS a Reply, that "ate" my Edit button, but had not Refreshed on my screen. Refresh still showed no Replies, just no Edit either. In those cases, I just Reply and mention the [Edit].
Also, it seems that the buttons get very scrambled at times, and Refresh does not always clear that up. I end up clicking where I "think" the right button should be and hope for the best. Seems that when the buttons do bunch up they can appear at random around the page, often three atop one another, and maybe one way the heck out in left-field.
While I'm on a role, it would be nice to be able to switch between Flattened and Threaded Views on the fly. Each has a use, and having to go to Options and then come back down to the thread is a very slow process. Jive is probably incapable of this, but I can dream.
