Fields Missing in datasource

Hi friends,
Please help, I have some fields missing in my data source , but they are available in the extract structure of that data source..what do I do now, to see the same fields in my data source also?? should I ahve to append the data source??

I think you didn't appended the fields to the append structure.
Try to append the fields in the append structure and save ands activate it. and again activate the extract structure.
then you can see in RSA6

Hi Gurus ,
in CRM we have datasource 0CRM_UT_QUOTATION_I for this extract structure is
CRM_UTIL_BW_QUOTATION , when i double click on extract structure i can find the extra fields which i required . but when i see the data source those fields i cant see , what could be the reason.
fields i am seeing in extract structure i should be able to see in data source also.

either write an ABAP (I you feel comfortable enough to not screw the whole table...) or request an authentication key in the market place in order to change the attribute "maintenance allowed" of this table in SE11.
The best is to get in touch with your basis group....
otherwise there is still the /h option
mark the record to be changed
write /h in the transaction input box and press enter
hit the display button
now you are in the debug mode, execute the code with F5 until it comes to form SET_STATUS_VAL
change the value of the "code" variable to 'EDIT' instead of 'SHOW'
press F8 to run the code.
You should now be able to change this record....
The above method is definitively not liked by the pure basis guys and use it at your own risk....
I suggest to proceed with requesting an object key and changing the record by standard means...

Fields Missing in the data source

Hello Friends ,
I have to Append structures in my data source , and there are few fields under each append , the fields existing in Dev are missing in QA under one of Append strcuture's in QA. I see the fields when I double click the extract str but dont get to see them in the data source in QA, has anyone had this earlier ?

Hi,
Go to transaction RSA6 -> datasource. You will see number of fields ( standard and appended). Check missing field there and checkbox in HIDE column against it. If box is checked it wont be shown in the datasource. It will hide the field in the datasource.

New field in the datasource

Hi all;
Im trying to add a new field to the 0CO_OM_OPA_6 datasource.
The new field is the Cost Center (KOSTL).
I just add this field to the Append Structure.
If I check it, the following message appears: Field KOSTL does not lie within customer namespace.
After the activation of the append structure, from the ICORDCSTA1, and remove the hide field from the datasource, I tested in RSA3 but the Cost Center columm appears empty.
Is there any step missing?
Can anyone help me?

Whenever you enhance the data source,it is best practice to give name as zz*
and once you add these fields..system doesnot know how to fill these fields with data..so you have to write code to populate data into your fields..
go to se38(r/3 side) and give include 'zxrsau01' and click on change...
write code to fill your fields activate it and now check in rsa3...

Fields missing in Infoset.

I have an infoset that contains 3 master data objects. Some of the attribute fields do not show up in the infoset. Does anyone know why some fields show up and other do not?

The field missing is not set to attribute only. I checked other fields that do show up in the infoset and they are not marked as attribute only. Any other ideas?

Fields missing in LBWE

Hi folks,
We got a an issue with the fields of standard LO DataSources.
When i have checked the LO SD datasources in LBWE maintanance, few fields are not existing in our Production system which are available in DEV server.
But i can see the total number of fields in the datasource are equal in all the servers i.e DEV as well as PROD servers.(I have checked in the RSO2 --> Extract structure of the standard Datasoources).
We are having the mappings for the fileds that are not seen in the LBWE on the BI side.
Please suggest me whether i can proceed further with this existing datasources or do i need to adjust the extract structure maintanance of PROD server in LBWE as per DEV server.
We are going live in few more days and came across this now after the transports to PROD,
Do we get any issues in the data loads with this differences in structure or can we neglect it?
Please give me your valuable inputs....

It is this way,
The Production and the Dev have to be in SYNC always PLUS the New Fields addition has to reflect.
1)First Check for the SYNC in RSA6 of Production and Development ,i.e RSA6>SAP-R3>SD-->Then Respective datasource.
They have to be in SYNC ,if not then that means some developemtn have been done to the Datasource by appending the Structure as part of Requiremnt.If the Structure has been enhanced then after repliaction of DS in BI-Dev the New fields will be avaliable in R3 and BI Dev only and not in BI or R3 Produciton, as they have not been transported.
If u have done any dvelopments to this DS,then the Prod and Dev have to match.
Come back with more clarity as to what is the excat siituation so that accordinly we can suggest what to do !!!!

Fields missing from extractor

Hi Guys,
I have 65 fields in an extractor (Generic Datasource). When I replicate the datasource and go to the fields tab in datasource, i see that one of the line is being skipped.
After Pos. 26, i see Pos. 28, 29..... Pos. 26 and Pos. 27 are both currency but we have identified one as WAERS and WAERS_LOC (Coming from different tables).
Secondly, when I create a transformation for the DSO and join it with this datasource, I see only 61 fields (instead of 64 or 65).
Has somebody encountered this problem before ? How do I fix it ?

I understand that on the left you are seeing the fields you have in your datasource and on the right side, the infoobjects you have in your infoprovider. They don't have to be identical. If you want them to be the same means that you want to upload all the fields you have in your datasource. Then you have to add the corresponding infoobjects to your infoprovider.
If you are refering that your datasource is different than the one you see in the transformation, it could be that you haven't replicated it correctly. Select the source system and replicate it again.

FIELDS MISSING

When i replicated CO-PA data into BI. It created two DS's:
0COPA_RCTY AND 1_CO_PA_XXXXXXX
I created an Infosource and transfer rules for 1_CO_PA_XXXXXXX but there are a few fields missing that i do see in the operating concern such as:
ARTNR=0MATERIAL
KNDNR=0CUSTOMER
BZIRK=0SALES_DIST
Why are these fields not in the Infosource since they are in the operating concern?
Where would they be?

Delete the data source and then need to re-create using KEB2 transaction. While re-creating the data source use the same old name so that there won't be any changes in the BW side when you need to assign the data source to info-source. Just replicate the new data source in BW side and map the new field in info-source.
(you can also try, goto KE24 and edit the dataaource and add your fields not 100% sure of it works)

Fields missing on FB60

Hi,
I have a couple of questions.
1. I see there are a few fields missing on the line item level on FB60. It's not the case for development or testing environment. But in Production it's happening. Does anyone know how to get these fields back?
2. Is there a transaction where I can clear multiple documents at once instead of one like FBRA?

Field is missing in FB60 screen, please brief which field you are missing and whether its comes earlier, if so please check is there any variant create, u can see this variant at end of the line item screen in top position. when u put your cursor there it will show u the configuration, click there and see if any variant is used, if so remove that and put tick on use as standard setting and try.
FBRA is not for clearing the document, but it reset or reset and reverse the clear document.
for clearing of vendor tcode is f-44
for clearing of g/l tcode is f-03
for clearing of customer tcode is f-32

Fields in the datasource 0VENDOR_ATTR

Hi Gurus,
I need to unhide some fields in the datasource 0VENDOR_ATTR and then replicate it into BW. It is already loading the data into BW. Now I need some more fields to pass data into BW. Here my issue is my datasource is in display mode. I need to make it CHANGE mode so that I can unhide the fields. Is it not possible to unhide the fields when it is already with data.? Please suggest me.

Hey you can go ahead and unhide fields.Yes you have to do in change mode.
1) Save the datasource.Check if the fields which were unhide are getting populated in RSA3.
2) Replicate the datasource in BW/BI side.
3) Map the corresponding objects in transfer rules.
4) Activate the transfer rules.
5) Load data.
6) Activate master data.
0VENDOR being master data you should not have issues.

Crystal Report VS2005 - Table fields missing in Database Expert

I am having a problem with the Crystal Report comes with Visual Studio 2005. I am trying to develop a customized report for SAP Business One. When I try to add two tables using the Database Expert, there are certain fields missing in the LINK page. This is a big problem for me because I need to link that field with another table. Oddly, it doesn't seems that there are anything wrongs with the missing fields. If I click OK and check at the Field Explorer, the missing fields are there!!!
In other words, it is missing only at the Database Expert --> Link Tab. Anyone having the same problem? Is this a known issue or any patch that I can apply to resolve this issue?

I solved this problem myself by writing ABAP program.
REPORT ZTEST.
TABLES ROOSFIELD.
DATA: ITAB LIKE ROOSFIELD OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE.
SELECT * FROM ROOSFIELD INTO TABLE ITAB
                       WHERE OLTPSOURCE = 'DATASOURCE_NAME'
                             AND FIELD = 'WAERS'.
*update ROOSFIELD set SELECTION = 'X'.
*ENDSELECT.
Create a report program and update the value of field "SELECTION" as above.
Then try to make changes in RSO2 as it needed.

Units field XYZ for field ABC of DataSource ZRST Message no. R8147

When I'm trying to SAVE my datasource ZRST, I've got following error.
Units field XYZ for field ABC of DataSource ZRST Message no. R8147
In extraction structure of this datasource thare are at least two fields that use the same unit field.
Accordign SAP note no 867795:
One of the fields is displayed and another is hidden.
Then the unit field is hidden and the above error occurs.
This note is valid for component SAP_ABA release 700. I'm running my R/3 source system on SAP_ABA 620.
Could it be the same case as described in this SAP note?
Anybody got same problem? Please advise.

Please check the dependencies on the fields, as some fields should have the units defined ,check the fields and activate the datasource.

Some fields missing from the Information interface

On iTunes 12 I can’t find the "Description" field that was in the Video page.
The field still shows in the list of songs, but it doesn’t appear on the new "Information" interface. And I don't think this is the only field missing compared to the previous Information interface. Can anyone help? Thank you.

One field in standard datasource 2LIS_02_ITM can not be found in LBWE

I have one field NOPOS of datasource 2LIS_02_ITM (Purchasing Order Item) need to find the source table.
Here my question is: NOPOS is a standard field of datasource 2LIS_02_ITM, why can I not find this field in LBWE through maintenance? Any suggestion to find the source table?

even if it is a counter field it should be present in DataSource structure as the infosource of this DataSource has mapping of this field.
Check the HELP.SAP.COM documentation for same
