Fields missing in Screen 2000 for Infotype 580

Hi,
In PA30, when I go to create or change or display mode for an employee in infotype 580, there are only 4 fields shown. There should actually be over 10 fields in the screen. I checked the layout for the screen 2000 of program MP058000 in SE51 and it had all the fields there. In table T588M there was no entry with the module program name MP058000. I created an entry with this program for screen 2000, and chose the radio button Standard ( The first one) for all the fields that were there and still the screen in PA30 has only 4 fields.
Can anyone please help with this issue?
Additional Info: When i chose create or change for IT0580 in PA30 for an employee, there was a status message saying screen was modified, and that were i got the table name that i've mentioned above.
Thanks & Regards,
Pratheek Bhonsley

Hi Pratheek,
Please check the hiring date of employee to whom you are trying to enter and check the employee who joined before this financial year. If i am right, this info type screens are depends on hiring date of employee, if i am right..
At the same time, Please check the control record period also.

You may copy your current screen into a new screen (e.g. 2099) for MP000600 and add the 2 fields into the element list as well as the screen layout of screen 2099. Then set an appropriate Modification Group 3 to these 2 fields in T588M detail screen for screen 2099. Configure feature P0006 and table T588M to set screen 2099 for molga 16.

  • Field symbols - specifying screen number for screen field.

    Hi Experts,
I am working on a field exit for T-Code FBD1. I am using the following code
    field-symbols : <fs>.
    assign ('(SAPMF05A)BKPF-BUKRS') to <fs>.
My field exit works on screen 300 where as company code is on screen 106. This works fine as there is only one occurance of company code in the program SAPMF05A. There is another data element RF05A-NEWKO which is on both the screens. I want the value in the field on screen 0106. How do I specify the screen number?
    Regards,
    Abdullah

    Hi!
You cannot specify the screen number in this case. The field symbol will be assigned with the current value in the field (SAPMF05A)RF05A-NEWKO, i.e. the value at runtime when the exit is triggered. Make sure your exit is trigerred when you move from one screen to the next.
    Cheers!

  • Issue for Production Price list field missing

    Hello all,
I have a strange issue with a field missing in the issue for production window. When an issue for production is created, the Price list field is missing. Please see the attached screenshot. Does anyone know how to show this field? I have checked form settings and it's not an option there.

    Hi Chris
Following is the SAP Note No: 1720071
    Symptom
When opening "Issue for Production" from "Production Order", "Price List" field is missing.
    Reproducing the issue
    1. Login to SAP Business One.
    2. Go to Production->Production Orders, open a "released" production order document.
    3. Right-click a row whose "issue method" is "Manual", and choose "Issue Components". (If all the rows have "Backflush", you need to change one of them.)
    4. "Price List" field is missing on the left top of the new screen.
    5. If you click "Attachments" tab, the field will be showing correctly.
    Solution
Current workaround is to click "Attachments" tab to make "Price List" showing.
The issue is planned to be fixed in SAP Business One 9.0.
    With Regards
    Balaji

    Hi,
The screen exit for customer Master is not a direct way to find out in CMOD/SMOD.... The process to add a screen to Customer master is different...and need to be done care fully and understand the process carefully...

    02. Enter V_TAMLAY0_00 and press display
Ask you to select the Application...from the drop

        Application for General Data.
    03. change the layout of the screen by pressing change
button and add new Layout ZSAP a description. and
        save it.
    04. Go back to SM30 main screen and enter V_TAMLAY1_00

        step...i.e. custom layout.
    05. It displays all the Tabs in the Custome master, the

with meaning ful description. and SAve
    06. Then goback to SM30 Main screen, enter V_TAMLAY2_00
and press display.... then enter Application adn
layout and the Tab number created in previous
        scree.. then enter
    07. you need to enter the position of group boxes....
position 1, Group box S0008, the description..
        and save.
    08. goback to SM30, and enter V_TAMLAYA_00 and display...
takes u to screen where u need to enter the
        application details...modify the application line
which selected before and from SPRO..find out the FM
which triggeres to create Customer...in SAP and get
the Function group...enter the Function group into
User function group and add Z before the Function
module and save the data....creates a FM where u use
        for modifications.
    09. Goback to SM 30 and enter V_TAMLAYB_00 and press
display...make a new entry with screen 001 and
        save....
this will add the screen to your customer master....
use the Cusotme FM to do modification to the screen 001..
This is a bit tedious...but understand the concept...
i have done this may be 3 yrs back..
    any questions le tme kknow...

  • Field not hiding upon changing screen no of infotype

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I've an issue for which i need your expert opinion.
I am working on international environment and my issue is that I have to change screen no in table V_T582A Infotype Attributes. Lets say i've changed the standard screen 2000 to 2006 because the screen was not bringing the exact entry date even after maintaining ENTRY feature. Therefore I had to go for Screen 2006. In table V_T588M I have chosen the module pool for IT0016 and in the alternate screen with variable key 12 I have selected certain fields to be hidden and also i had changed the feature P0016 even accordingly where i had mentioned the variable key 12 to be used for country grouping 99.
After performing all the above configuration steps, i am still unable to hide any field.
Kindly help me. Your help will be really appreciated.

    Hi Naim,
Basically the data in Infotype in which you are changing the record doesn't exist.
That is the reason you are receiving the message in RETURN " NO DATA STORED FOR 0003 FOR SELECTED PERIOD"
If you want to see online where exactly the problem lies....Just put the Break point and also dialog_mode in FM as "<b>1"</b>
    CALL FUNCTION 'HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION'
    EXPORTING
    INFTY = '0003'
    NUMBER = PERNR
    VALIDITYEND = i0001-BEGDA
    VALIDITYBEGIN = i0001-ENDDA

  • :Due On" date field missing while posting with Spl GL indicator for vendor

    Hello,
I am facing a problen while posting a n entry with spl GL indicator in fb01, the issue is Due On date field is missing in the screen.
I am posting an spl GL transaction for a vendor thro FB01 and after entering the posting key 39, vendor code and spl Gl indicator in line item and in next screen, the "Due ON" date field is not appearing.
Both vendor recon account and spl GL alternative account use same field status group and  checked the field status group , the due date, payments terms are made optional.
The strange thing is, when I use the same vendor with Spl GL indicator "A" , the Due ON field is missing in next screen, and when I use spl indicator " B" , for same vendor, Due On date field is appearing.
Is there any specfic field status setting for DUE ON date field for Spl GL indicator wise? or please help me how to bring due on date field in the screen when posting spl GL transaction?
    Please help me on this.
    Regards
    Surya

    Hello Surya,
To make field baseline date for payment (BSEG-ZFBDT) ready for input for
posting the down payment, the following Customizing setting is
    necessary:
Financial Accounting -> Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ->
Business Transactions -> Outgoing Payments -> Automatic Outgoing Payment
-> Payment Method/Bank Selection -> Configure payment program -> All
company codes -> double-click on corresponding company code -> under
Customer -> 'Sp. G/L transactions to be paid' the letter A should be
    entered.
The field "Due On (BSEG-ZFBDT)" cannot be controlled with field status.
It is contolled by field attribute of screen painter (Tcd: SE51).  If
you look at element attribute for "Due On" field, a flag for required
entry is activated.  In this case, field status has no control over
    the field.
As of release 3.1G, field BSEG-ZFBDT is hardcoded in most FI screens
to be mandatory and cannot be influenced by any field status
changes. This situation is only valid when posting with special G/L
    indicator (ie PK 29/39).
SAP development team has determined that this is a critical field.  The
reason behind this is that this special GL screen and the data entered
here are very important to many other programs. This data affects
liabilities and receivables where due date is necessary almost
everytime. Thus, we changed this field in this screen in order to
prevent problems in many other areas. The reason is explained further in
    note 95079.

         o   Recommended (Optional Field)
The input/output field should be supplied with an input at runt
The system, of course, does not check immediately whether there
been an input. During the remainder of the transaction, however
             input is necessary.
To mark this kind of target field, the input template starts wi
special character that is represented in the Screen Painter by
question mark ('?'). The question mark will be suppressed only
the field is in a table control or a step loop.
You use the "target field", for example, if inputs cover severa
screens and only at a later stage are subject to a common check
    o   Required Field
The input/output field must be supplied with an input at runtime.
The system checks this property immediately, and very definitely
when the event is processed  (PROCESS AFTER INPUT).
So that such a required field is marked accordingly, its input
template must begin with a special character that is represented in
the Screen Painter by a question mark ('?'). The question mark is
suppressed only if the field is in a table control or a step loop.
I hope above information will resolve your issue.

  • Internal Order field missing on various entry screens

    Hi,
In our production client, we don't see internal order field. It was there before. But somehow it just disappeared on screen like FB50, FB60, FB70 etc. I can see the internal order field in other environments. Can you please tell me how I can get the field back?
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi,
Please check in FB50 the following:
If you go to configuration (the little chart above the G/L block) -> (Box or button blue and yellow above scroll bar right side.) Then double click on configutation pick button administrator.
You will see that some fields are flagged as "hidden". (invisible)
Check if Internal order is hidden. If yes, unflag that selection, activate, save and check the results.

  • Search help for input fields in a screen

    Hi,

how to set search help property for the I/O fields in screen in se80?
    1. do we want to add any property for search help in the property window?
2.do we want to create a MODULE PROCESS ON VALUE REQUEST ?
PLS tell me how to set search for the I/O field in se80?pls tell me the process?
i want to set the search help for more I/O fields in se80 but all the fields belongs to the same table?
can i create a single search for all these fields and use that for all the I/O fields ?
elementary search help or collective search help?
    thanks & regards in advance,
    vsnl.

    Hi,
    Input Help on the Screen
Within the Screen Painter, you can define two types of input help:
    1. The FIELD statement with one of the additions VALUES or SELECT.
    2. Linking a search help directly to a screen field.
If you link a search help directly to a screen field, it overrides the additions of the FIELD
statement. However, the input check [Page 581] functions of the FIELD statement remain
    unaffected.
    Input Help in Flow Logic
The following input help methods are obsolete and should not be used. They are still supported
    for compatibility reasons.
In the screen flow logic, you can specify a value list for a screen field <f> as follows:
    FIELD <f> VALUES (<val1>, <val2>,...).
The value list contains a series of single values <vali>. The NOT and BETWEEN additions for the
input check [Page 581] are not appropriate for input help.
You can also create a value list by accessing a database table as follows:
    FIELD <f> SELECT *
    FROM <dbtab>
    WHERE <k1> = <f1> AND <k2> = <f2> AND...
In the WHERE condition, the fields of the primary key <ki> of the database table <dbtab> are
checked against the screen fields <fi>. The WHENEVER addition, used with input checks [Page
581], is not necessary for input help.
If you have used a ABAP Dictionary reference for field <f>, the selection and the hit list formatting
may be affected by any check table attached to the field.
    Attaching a Search Help
Search helps from the ABAP Dictionary can be attached to a screen field [Ext.]. To do this, enter
the name of the search help in the corresponding field in the attributes of the screen field in the
Screen Painter. This assigns the first parameter of the search help to the screen field. It is only
possible to place a value from the hit list onto the screen.
    Input help on a screen.
    REPORT DEMO_DYNPRO_F4_HELP_DYNPRO MESSAGE-ID AT.
    DATA: CARRIER(3) TYPE C,
    CONNECTION(4) TYPE C.
    CALL SCREEN 100.
    MODULE CANCEL INPUT.
    LEAVE PROGRAM.
    ENDMODULE.
The next screen (statically defined) for screen 100 is itself. It has the following layout:
    602 April 2001
    Cancel
    Airline
    Flight number
    Screen field with search help
Input help in the flow logic
The input fields have been adopted from the program fields CARRIER and
CONNECTION. The function code of the pushbutton is CANCEL, with function type
    E. The search help DEMO_F4_DE with the search help parameter CARRID is
assigned to the screen field CARRIER. The search help uses the database table
    SCARR.
The screen flow logic is as follows:
    PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
    PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
    MODULE CANCEL AT EXIT-COMMAND.
    FIELD CARRIER VALUES ('AA', 'LH').
    FIELD CONNECTION SELECT *
    FROM SPFLI
    WHERE CARRID = CARRIER
    AND CONNID = CONNECTION.
When the user chooses the input help for the individual fields, the following input
    help is displayed:
For the Airline field, the search help displays the names of the airlines and places the airline
code in the input field for the chosen line. If the airline code is not one of those listed in the
VALUES list of the screen flow logic, the input check triggers an error message in the PAI
event. So the search help overrides the VALUES addition for the input help, but not for the
input checks. This is therefore not an appropriate place to use the VALUE addition.
For the Flight number field, the flow logic displays the selected entries from the database
table SPFLI and places the selected line in the input field.

  • Workarounds for searching a text field in SQL Server 2000

    Hi,
I have a need to search within a text field in SQL Server 2000. In the
limitations section it notes that this is not possible. Is there a
recommended workaround for this in terms of performance? I have no way
of knowing the length of the text field in advance, and this could be
fairly large. Also, the number of objects that could contain the text
can be fairly large as well.
    Thanks in advance,
    Khamsouk

Note that some databases (or Oracle, at least) provide alternatives to
LIKE '%foo%' that are more efficient for large text blocks, given that
you have the appropriate indexing plugins etc. etc.
To use one of those types of search operators, you'd have to put
    together a custom extension.

    Fred Lucas <[email protected]> wrote:
I'm assuming that when you say 'a text field', you're referring to a
SQLServer TEXT field, as opposed to just any old field that contains

Like I said, I'm by no means a SQLServer pro, but I just ran:
    SELECT CLOBSTRINGX
    FROM LOCATORTESTOBJECTX
    WHERE CLOBSTRINGX LIKE '%o%';
and got back my test row with 'foo' in the CLOBSTRINGX column.
    CLOBSTRINGX is a TEXT column.
So, it is possible that our stringContains() extension will just work.
But then again, maybe not. I'm guessing it will.
Give it a try and, if you get an error, post the generated SQL (turn on
SQL output by setting the com.solarmetric.kodo.Logger property to
'stdout') and the error that you get. Also, try executing the generated
SQL directly against your data store to see if it works there.

I'm not intimitely familiar with SQLServer's text searching

that would do what you need it to do.
What is the SQL that you are trying to generate?

    Hi,
I have a need to search within a text field in SQL Server 2000. In the
limitations section it notes that this is not possible. Is there a
recommended workaround for this in terms of performance? I have no way
of knowing the length of the text field in advance, and this could be
fairly large. Also, the number of objects that could contain the text
can be fairly large as well.
    Thanks in advance,

  • MM06E005 - how to set screen attributes for custom fields?

    Hi all,
I have implemented enhancement MM06E005. I have added my custom fields to CI_EKPODB.  I have created and activated all the dynpros.  I modified subscreen 0111 (items) to contain my new custom fields.  I have activated the function exits (016,017,018) for the item screens.  I am able to save data using the new custom fields on subscreen 0111.
What I am having trouble with is modifying the screen attributes for the new custom fields that I placed on subscreen 0111. I know it should be in exit 016(PBO) and I need to check the action type.  I tried a "loop at screen" but my fields were not there.
How do I modify the screen attributes?  Also, can I change the "Tab" text from "Customer Data" to be something else?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks, Mark

    Hi,
In the PBO of the screen 0111, create a module. And in that module you can do LOOP AT SCREEN..where the screen elements will be available..
    Thanks
