Fields Relevant to Printouts of Changes

Hi:
We need to trigger a PO change message only at the time a new PO line item is created, does any one know how to resolve this? Thanks

In SPRO: Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Messages -> Fields Relevant to Printouts of Changes. There is a field "Routine" for each field, I had the idea SAP added this field to distinguish the possible activity with changed field, for example there is one option "Deletion Indicator".
Very last option reads "Customer Range", but not sure if this option can be maintained with user custom ABAP code.

This was working fine before EHP4 patch upgrade, after that the field

  • Purchasing - Printouts of changes

    Hi,
Via customising it should be possible to mark fields relevant for printouts of changes (change notices). I want to prohibit that a new printout is created when an item has been flagged 'invoice completed' (Field EREKZ). So I have removed the flag for 'PO'. But when I put the flag on, a new printout has been generated.
Does anyone know how I can avoid that a new prontout has been generated when flagging the final invoice indicator.
    Kind regards,
    Ruth

    Hi
See print outs for PO is done by requirement 101. Copy and modify it and do not trigger output when there is a chnage due to that particular field mentioned by you. Assign it to your out put type in message determination schema.

  • Mass change in BOM - field "Relevant to sales"

    Hi All,
How to do Mass change in BOM for the field "Relevant to sales" ?
    Thanks.
    Marianna

    Hi,
Need to use CS02 recording in such a way that you can change every item in a particular BOM.
e.g. First get into HEader Material BOM (CS02), once you've General Item Overview screen, do NOT directly go to item details of any item.... first click on tab-'Position', enter either Item Number or Component or both and then go to item details to change the relevancy indicator. Once changed for a particular item, save the BOM & come out of it. Then try for next item & so on....
Again this is my initial thought, you need to try out few recording options like this and then chose the most suitable one. Take help from ABAP expert if any available.
Off-course, initiallly it would take time to set-up LSMW but later on just need to create a data-file & do the mass changes.
    Hope it will help.

  • Updating the field "relevant for POD" for customer in XD03 in R/3

    Hi All,
Is there a way to update the field "relevant for POD" for newly created customer on XD03 in R/3 from CRM system. My requirement is customers will be created in CRM by interface from mainframe(legacy) system. Whenever a  new customer is created thorugh this interface in CRM, the mentioned POD field needs to be checked in R/3  and also this field is not available in CRM on BP transaction( as I have observed till now) causing my main issue otherwise I believe that BDOC will take care of it to move to R/3 system.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi,
    Dear AYAZ,
as my knowledge " XD03 " is used for DISPLAY THE  CUSTOMER,you may ask particular SD Consultant for required changes.
For changing the customer T.C is " XD02 " in Sales Area Section( SHIPPING Tab )you"ll find the Relevant for POD( Check Box ).
Plz give points if you feel valuable.

  • SPEL? make REASON field required if user has changed the value in SALARY

I have a requirement to make REASON field required if user has changed the value in SALARY field. Is it possible using spel? what are my options?

    Karan,
You can change the Rendered Property through personalization.
But in your requirement you need to attach the Spell through personalization & extend the existing CO to set the value of the SPELL based upon the condition.
Note - Refer this thread http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=2176729&tstart=0. If you have worked on SSHRParams kindly help the user.

  • Printout of Change PO Only.

    Dear ALL,
There is one requirement of my client.
When a po is changed after the initial printout, the change output prints only the changes, and not the full PO. I know this is the standard way SAP works. Is there any way where we can take the print of po where only changes occurred. I dont want to take whole PO print.
    Thanks & Regards
    SKK

in IMG > MM > Purchasing > messages > Output Control > Message
Types > Define Message Types for Purchase Order and select "Fine-Tuned
Control" option and add operation 2 records.
Then you have to create conditions for printing of changes as you are used to do for standard PO printing (MN04, MN05)

Re: I bought a used MacBook Pro (mid 2010).  How do I change settings so that I am the owner instead of "tourist"?

The first thing to do with a second-hand computer is to erase the internal drive and install a clean copy of OS X. You — not the previous owner — must do that. How you do it depends on the model, and on whether you already own another Mac. If you're not sure of the model, enter theserial number on this page. Then find the model on this page to see what OS version was originally installed.
    1. You don't own another Mac.
If the machine shipped with OS X 10.4 or 10.5, you need a boxed and shrink-wrapped retail Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) installation disc from the Apple Store or a reputable reseller — not from eBay or anything of the kind. If the machine has less than 1 GB of memory, you'll need to add more in order to install 10.6. Preferably, install as much memory as it can take, according to thetechnical specifications.
If the machine shipped with OS X 10.6, you need the installation media that came with it: gray installation discs, or a USB flash drive for some MacBook Air models. For early MBA models, you may need a USB optical drive or Remote Disc. You should have received the media from the previous owner, but if you didn't, order replacements from Apple. A retail disc, or the gray discs from another model, will not work.
To boot from an optical disc or a flash drive, insert it, then reboot and hold down the C key at the startup chime. Release the key when you see the gray Apple logo on the screen.
If the machine shipped with OS X 10.7 or later, you don't need media. It should boot into Internet Recovery mode when you hold down the key combination option-command-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a spinning globe.
    2. You do own another Mac.
If you already own another Mac that was upgraded in the App Store to the version of OS X that you want to install, and if the new Mac is compatible with it, then you can install it. Use Recovery Disk Assistant to create a bootable USB device and boot the new Mac from it by holding down the Ckey at the startup chime. Alternatively, if you have a Time Machine backup of OS X 10.7.3 or later on an external hard drive (not a Time Capsule or other network device), you can boot from that by holding down the option key and selecting it from the row of icons that appears. Note that if your other Mac was never upgraded in the App Store, you can't use this method.
Once booted in Recovery, launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the internal drive — not any of the volume icons nested beneath it. In the Partition tab, select the default options: a GUID partition table with one data volume in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format. This operation will permanently remove all existing data on the drive.
After partitioning, quit Disk Utility and run the OS X Installer. You will need the Apple ID and password that you used to upgrade. When the installation is done, the system will automatically reboot into the Setup Assistant, which will prompt you to transfer the data from another Mac, its backups, or from a Windows computer. If you have any data to transfer, this is usually the best time to do it.
Then run Software Update and install all available system updates from Apple. To upgrade to a major version of OS X newer than 10.6, get it from the Mac App Store. Note that you can't keep an upgraded version that was installed by the previous owner. He or she can't legally transfer it to you, and without the Apple ID you won't be able to update it in Software Update or reinstall, if that becomes necessary. The same goes for any App Store products that the previous owner installed — you have to repurchase them.
If the previous owner "accepted" the bundled iLife applications (iPhoto, iMovie, and Garage Band) in the App Store so that he or she could update them, then they're linked to that Apple ID and you won't be able to download them without buying them. Reportedly, Mac App Store Customer Service has sometimes issued redemption codes for these apps to second owners who asked.
If the previous owner didn't deauthorize the computer in the iTunes Store under his Apple ID, you wont be able to  authorize it immediately under your ID. In that case, you'll either have to wait up to 90 days or contact iTunes Support.

  • How do we control what fields you need in the change log?

    Gurus,
Some time ago in an unrelated problem solving activity I came across the configuration screens that controlled what (and if) you could log when changed.
I can not find the place now.
There should be a place in SPRO which allows me to configure that I do not want log of the change in sales orders. It also allows me to choose which fields within the sales orders should be logged. So I could choose (say) to have the logging of quantity changes to be turned off.
Was I dreaming? ... Can someone point me in the right direction?
    Thank you all for contributing
    Regards
    Raju

    I have a direction now:
    1) Check in the SE11 to ensure that the field that I need the change log for is marked "Change Document" in the Data Element of the field.
    2) Check the document object VERKBELEG (Sales Document) to ensure that the table is included in the configuration. Transaction SCDO.
I will experiment with this to find out if this can be done.

At GS03, I keyed in PESB_1050 at Set ID field and <enter> then I can see the value (GL acnt) inside the PESB_1050. Account group is PESB_1050. Any idea how to change (delete/add GL) the value for that account group?

  • What are the views/fields that we can't change by Mass maintenance of MMR(material master record)?

    Hello friends,
I would like to know the fields/views that we can not change by using mass maintenance of MMR if there are open PO for that particular material in concern. Likewise there was a question in SAP certification exam having options: "base unit of measure", "material type" and so on....

in general you can change any field that can be changed in MM02. if the field is grayed then you cannot. e.g. if you make use a MRP profile. and in this profile the maintenance of those fields is disabled then you cannot do it MM17 either.

  • Filled fields become blank in DSO change log

    Hi experts,
I find an unusual behavior in DSO activation.
For some records for which I find in PSA, new data table (and in debug also!!!) correct data, when the request is activated I find in change log table all characteristic fields empty; the key fields and key figure fields are ok and correct in all tables.
It happen randomly for some orders and for a few requests.
It happen when I have one storno record, for example:
PSA (order, item, customer, material, storno, quantity)
    10000, 10, AAA, YYY, , 25
    10000, 10, AAA, YYY, X, -25
DEBUG (order, item, customer, material, storno, quantity)
    10000, 10, AAA, YYY, , 25
    10000, 10, AAA, YYY, X, -25
CHANGE LOG (order, item, customer, material, storno, quantity)
    10000, 10, AAA, YYY, , 25
    10000, 10, , , X, -25
ACTIVE DATA (order, item, customer, material, storno, quantity)
    10000, 10, AAA, YYY, 25
    In some other cases:
ACTIVE DATA (order, item, customer, material, storno, quantity)
    10000, 10, , , -25
Have you some ideas? It is very strange.
We are on a 7.0 BW system, but with 3.5 data flow (update rule).
    Thanks in advance.

    Vito,
    This happens some times...
    1. Did you transport any change to this DSO where characteristics were added and are these the ones that are blank...
When this happens - see if you can clear the change log ( if this is an option ) and then reactivate the cube.
Also there is a program to regenerate the activation program, I am not able to locate this - but then usually reactivating the ODS will usually clear this issue because it regenerates the activation program.
