Sir,
i want to make some fields grey in a PO
How can i configure it at document level.
Example:Material tab,delivery tab wnted to be grey at item level

Spro>Materials Management>Purchasing>Purchase Order>Define Screen Layout at Document Level

    In header --> Reference tab --> Item (sub heading) --> "DEFECT LOCATION" FIELD TO BE ELIMINATED (HIDE)

    We can hide the collumns using the Transaction OQM1 and Program Name SAPLIQS0.
    Lets say Defect location need to be hidden, the field TXTCDOT need to have the radio button HIDE.
    Hope this will suffice your requirement.

    By double clicking the "DEFECTIVE QUANTITY (EXTERNAL), WE COULD NOT GET --> field TXTCDOT .

    Use the order number to read table AFKO. You will find the routing number (AUFPL) for the order. The operations of the order are in table AFVC (using the routing number). The texts can be found by concatenating CLIENT AUFPL and APLZL.

    You can check out two table in respect to Sales TEXT i.e. STXH (STXD SAPscript text file header) and STXL(SAPscript text file lines).
    The best approach of tracing out the Text in respect to Sales Order would be to use the Function module READ_TEXT and put this FM in SE37 and execute with the following parameter.
    Client
    Text ID of text to be read
    Language of text to be read
    Name of text to be read
    Object of text to be read
    Archive handle
    Text catalog local
    When you are essentially looking to read item level Text with respect to Sales Order then your Text OBject would be VBBP.

    the field which u wanted to add is at Item level or Header level?
    If it is at item level, usually it should be defined in MAIN WINDOW. first u check in the Graphical form painter, where to add the new field...
    goto se71> settings> click on Form Painter--> now, check the Graphical Form Painter check box...by doing this, it opens the layout and can understand where to add... to add the variable use like (eg: &fieldname& )...

    Hi Friends,
    I am facing a very critical situation, Please help me on this.
    While creating the sales order by VA01, the Sold to Party and Ship to Party field are in grey out, so we cannot enter sold to party and ship to party. This is happening for all Order types.
    And while checking the existing sales order by VA02, so I found that at Header level and Item level the Partner tab are disable
    ( mena partner tab are in grey mode,).
    But when we click on sold to party field in VA02 it directly moves to partner but all Partner shown in Sales tab.
    I have check all the partner function and partner determination configuration.
    So can any one help me out in this, how in VA01 sold to party and ship to party field are in grey out mode.
    How in VA02 the partner tab are disable.?

    In Sales - customer
    1. Partners are listed (SP,BP,PY, SH)for account group and Partner Determination procedure(TA) is assigned to it
    Now for sales order type you need to assign the partner determination process
    SPRO
    Sales and Distribution
    Basic Functions
    Partner Determination
    Set Up Partner Determination
    Execute
    Set Up Partner Determination for Sales Document Header
    Select TA - standard order from the right side list
    and select Partner Determination Procedure Assignment (from left)
    Now assign your sales type to Partner determination TA.
    Create a SALES order you can find the sold to and ship to are editable.

    You can change the above field values only from WBS scheduling profile. If you want to change them, choose 'free scheduling' method.

    In layout editor please select listbox in dropdown attribute of input field and put some fctcode attribute

    I am having the same issue with newbie82_c; I need to populate the added fields in transaction UDM_SUPERVISOR.
    I know that the previous thread was tagged as answered already but the solution to the issue was not indicated in the thread.
    Here are the scenarios:
    - i've added fields in the item level invoice worklist of the customers by enhancing structure FDM_COLL_INVOICE_ALV (appending fields to FDM_COLL_INVOICE)
    - thru the implementation of the BADI FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS, i was able to retrieve the data specified by the user (Reference Keys in FB05)
    - i've populated CT_EXT_ITEMS with the retrieved data
    Now I need these data to be displayed in the added fields in UDM_SUPERVISOR.
    What ABAP object/s is/are responsible for populating the process receivable details?

    Can you kindly provide me with a working solution for this? I'm currently facing a similar issue for a similar BAPI (in my case it's BAPI_CUSTOMERRETURN_CHANGE) and can't seem to update the custom fields in VBAK. I have put in necessary values in the EXTENSIONIN table as well as updated the UPDATEFLAG indicator to 'U' and although it says that the order is saved, it seems to overwrite the custom field with its original value.
    The custom field seems to get updated correctly when I use BAPI_CUSTOMERRETURN_CREATE but when I make changes using BAPI_CUSTOMERRETURN_CHANGE, it gets overwritten with the original value.
    Any help is appreciated.

    Its possible to add new texts through customizing - standard SRM provides by default some notes like Internal note, Vendor note etc.
    We could create our own text, assign these texts to text schema and then assign text schema to transaction type (SHC for shopping cart). This can be done through customizing and then this new text type will comeup for item.

  • Adding a new field in web ui at item level in sales order

    While creating the sales order in WEBUI,we select a product at the item level. Once the product is selected into the line item, the vendor associated with the product should be determined and displayed in the custom column field(vendor)  for that line item. If there are more than one vendor associated with the product, the list for vendors should be displayed in a drop down to select one.
    this was the requirement
    1) how to add field to the structure.
    2)how to get the value from the field product field.
    3)how to display it in the field vendor in the form of drop down list
    please suggest me any documents or procedure to achieve this requirement .

    Honestly a better approach would be to add/use a new partner function at the line item level.  Then you could configure a new partner determination procedure to select the vendor.  You may need to use one of the partner determination procedure BADI exits to handle the selection logic.
    The best part is this would not require any UI configuration as all the standard screens are available for maintenance of this information.
