Figures not showing up in Acrobat reader DC, but show up fine in older versions - what is the problem?
I upgraded to Reader DC recently and have had trouble with pdfs ever since. Figures do not show up properly and we just see a grey patch where the figure should be. If I open the same file in the older versions, it shows up fine.
I have had this problem with every file I have opened since the upgrade, but they are fine with older Reader versions. Is this an incompatibility between the old and the new?
It could also be a compatibility issue with you using features of AA9 and the reader versions being an earlier version that cannot read those features. You might try using Reduce File Size or the PDF Optimizer to save as a prior version and see if it still works.

I've a big problem with adobe acrobat reader XI pro and I hope you can help me.
The problem is; when I past copied text from some pdf books (not all of them) it past symbols only! wherever I past it! and even if I coped that text from another pdf reader (adobe pdf reader, internet browsers, ...etc.).
This problem started to happen since yesterday when I installed adobe acrobat reader XI pro to try it before I buy it, and before that when I was using the free adobe pdf reader I was totally able to copy any text from any pdf and past it anywhere with nothing wrong.

I have application insight set up, sometimes I see data online, but sometimes I don't. I am wondering how to:
1. Make sure the monitor is running for my application?
2. see there is data has been sent to cloud server? I tried to run DebugView but it does not show up anything. Is there a log flag that can be turned on so I can log everything to a log file while it is being sent to server?

You can try Fiddler2 to see whether something gets out of the box to dc.services.visualstudio.com.
Make sure to either run application under the same account as a Fiddler or set a .NET proxy settings in web.config (app.Config for executables) to redirect to Fiddler.

Help!! I am a new Mac user and have Os X Lion. My son and I are starting to use imovie and have downloaded several video's from his new HD digital Bloggie camera. I just want to burn a basketball game to a DVD. So I went into imovie, followed the steps to iDVD and then Burn. But, when I put the DVD in the TV to play, it just shows a series of Folders. After an upgrade of acrobat reader 9 to acrobat reader 11 the automatic printing of a pdf. The pdf is opened, but the print does not happen. With acrobat reader 9 it works. But with acrobat reader 11 the printing does not happen.
I discovered when you specify pp.constants.interactionLevel.full it works on acrobat reader 11. But when you specify pp.constants.interactionLevel.silent or pp.constants.interactionLevel.automatic it does not work on acrobat reader 11. But with the full option we have a dialog print box
we do not want.
In our jsp we load a pdf document and create a message handler to detect the print events of a pdf document that is in an <object> tag.

Database connection is not working in Free Acrobat Reader

I am working on a pdf that imports data from an sql server. I got it working flawlessly in livecycle and in Acrobat Reader Pro. But in Free acrobat reader it makes an index error on the click event on the button that runs the javascript for getting a record.
I applied reader extension from Acrobat Reader Pro, but never the less it won't work.
My question: Does Free Acrobat Reader support this kind of database lookup with RE enabled.
I have tried both with formcalc and javascript. Both works in livecycle and the pro version of acrobat reader.
I am only working on the client side and do not utilize livecycle server.

Flash has been removed from the Reader X in latest releases and also it has been removed from Reader XI.
You Need to sepeately download and install the Flash plug-in to view the flash content. -

Texts are not showing up after upgrading to version 11
Could someone help me with why some of my texts are not show up on my Flash project? Before the upgrade, everything is fine. However, after upgrading to version 11, my texts are disappearing.
Before (version 10.3.183.7...)
After (version 11.0.1.152...)
The texts in the boxes will disappear, when I hover mouse cursor over it. Those boxes with texts in them are created with an external AS file, and the texts are dynamicaly changed/put in with an external XML file. There is a mask on the boxes, show only 4 at a time.

You will see the changes with Flash player version 11, and everything working fine with older versions.
I use iMacs with Snow Leopard and Lion, and this happens on all of the browsers with Flash Player version 11.01.152. I also tested on Windows 7, and it is still happening. Is this a Flash Player bug or something changed that I am not aware of? Is there a work around for this?This is a known issue and we have a fix for this in our next release. Thanks for posting.

finder is not showing correct file in cover flow mode. The files shown in the top panel are one file off.
This problem occurs after I move a file or files to trash. If I remove one file, then the sequence is one file off, if I move two files to trash then the sequence istwo file off. For example, if I delete file 1 and highlight (click on) file 3, then the cover flow panel shows file 2, when it should show file 3.
