I lost my Skype acount. I have skype credits in them (I have proof to show that I purchase the credits). I am filing a complaint at FTC (https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/) to see if I can get the money back. For those who have similar problem, may be you can do the same.

    I have been tryingh to renow my subscription since 12/1/2011. First it would not let me renew it at the 3 month discount. So I added Skype credits ($10) and tryed to pay it that way. Did not work that way. Now I got a e-mail saying my subscription is about to expire so I renewed it, did not had the option anymore to pay with Skype credits. Toke the payment out of my Credit Card.

    Your order log shows that there are quite a few orders that were not finished. I assume you didn't finish orders since discount was not offered. Since you have already made the payment it's bit difficult to investigate afterwards. Next time you are not getting a discount or payment method is not offered please file a support request: [invalid URL]

  • Blocked Account- Registering Complaint to FTC

    Dear Friends,
    I noticed so many threads within the community regarding account being blocked or suspended by Skype without any reason and not refunding the amount paid for subscription. I too faced the same problem within 3 days of starting paid subscription with Skype. Upon contacting customer support via email, was informed that I violated Terms of Use, would not let me know my violation either, and did not entertain my request for refund.
    It is a fraudulent business practice by Skype, especially accusing sincere customers of violations without any evidence is extremely offensive. After getting no assistance from Skype on this issue, I called up my credit card company and they assured me to refund the money paid to Skype. I also reported this issue to Federal Trade Commission at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt&panel1-1
    I am sure if we all register a complaint about such practices of Skype to FTC or consumer complaint reporting agency in your country, a proper action will be taken against Skype and also prevent other customers from such fraud.
    Thanks for joining me in raising awareness about this issue.

    My account was recently blocked after making a UK phone call from the USA, as I've always done. I've had Skype for over a decade and have been paying Skype World Unlimited for years.
    I cancelled my Skype World account today, and am actively asking for my Skype Credit to be funded in full -- over $20 worth.

    though it depends on your install-this for current installs
    For now just keep the GB and Logic libraries as they are-there are several precautions-like files which don't appear to be audio files and ownerships privelidges. You can remove or delete later as needed but where they are is fine, if you want the instrument or to grab the samples of an instrument use Project manager to save copies of the samples/inst. Another goo dreason is that these Libraries update with installers.
    YOUR EXS instruments belong in the user account.
    /Users/YouracctName/Library/Application Support/Logic/Sampler Instruments/
    The samples for these insts should reside either on a second drive or in your account
    No Refill to EXS but you may want to try AutoSampler by redmatica, AFAIK refills are kinda locked and proprietary
    Audio Finder will allow that for one shots, Keymap, also by redmatica is a mapper, not free, soon to be released. You could check into other formats as well but the fastest way for me is the EXS inst editor-I have not found a faster way overall but some things cam be extremely tedious and limiting-but it is not like I've paid $500 for it eithier.

    For almost a year I'm trying to buy skype credits. But there are some problems, because I started using skype when I was in China. Now I have to buy credits reading Chinese symbols, luckily they added a translate button to Englisch so I thought my problem was solved. WRONG because I have a European bank account I still can't purchase skype credits!!!!
    I should open a new account, but that is also not possible because skype knows my email address and tells me, very friendly that I already have an account. So I'm stuck, I worked around this service for a long time, but now a have to use it again.
    So somebody please help me to buy credits and ore change my account to an European one!

    Hi I would like to know where I can report about 4 payments taken in one day eg May 23rd, 2013 for my Skype Credit account. Instead of only one payment of $40AUD being taken, there were four payments credited to my Credit Card. This should not have happened, and I usually only make one payment at a time?     I just paid for an New Zealand Skype number, and when I try to test the number it makes one ringing noise then says user busy. 
    I am calling it from my mobile phone, and have skype open on my desktop.

    You are likely not doing anything wrong. The quality of the conversion depends on the quality of the original PDF file. Please see Will Adobe ExportPDF convert both text and form... | Adobe Community.
    Do you know what created that PDF? If it wasn't an Adobe app, the PDF may not be written to spec, and that could account for the conversion issues. You can tell what created the PDF by choosing File > Properties and looking for the PDF Producer on the Description tab.
    Sometimes, you can have better luck by turning off OCR as described in this document: How to disable Optical Character Recognition (O... | Adobe Community (but you'll want to keep OCR enabled if your PDF was created from a scanned document).

    I recently got free Skype Credits to call landlines or mobile for up to 75 minutes. However, I would like to check if the connection fees will be deducted from this credit, since the website states that 'Calls made as part of any of our subscriptions are exempt from connection fees.'

    From Skype Credit. When making calls with Skype Credit you have 2 charges:
    1) Rate per minute: http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/prices/payg-rates/
    2) Connection fee per call: http://www.skype.com/go/connectionfee
    This is why I would recommend a subscription if you are making lot of calls. With subscriptions you only make 1 payment monthly, every 3 months or yearly and you don't need to worry about connection fee.

    You can reactivate the Skype Credit by following the reactivation link in My Account at https://secure.skype.com/account/credit-reactivate.
    Reactivated Skype Credit is not refundable."
