File doesn't show up on iOS app

I Have a PDF file uploaded to the adobe site, when I open acrobat and try to view aforementioned PDF file by clicking on the acrobat.com link, no files show up.
please help

Have you signed in Acrobat.com from the Reader app?
Go to the Reader home screen.
Tap "My Account" in the lower left corner.
Tap the blue Sign In button to sign in with the same Adobe ID that you used to upload the file.
Please let us know if you have a different problem.

I have an iPod Touch but I currently don't have a PC. I found an app that would allow me to connect to my network drive and I was able to transfer music files to it. These files do not show under the Music app and I can't find any way to do it.

I found an app that would allow me to connect to my 2TB network drive directly and I was able to transfer a bunch of music files to the iPod. Unfortunately, these new files do not show under the Music app and I can't seem to find any way to convince the iPod that they are music. I can play them through the file manager only. Android doesn't have this problem, any music I put on my phone is recognized as music and can be played through any of the music apps. Am I missing something or is Apple to inflexible to handle this?

You can't. The only way to get songs in the Music app is to sync from a computer or to download from iTunes.

UITextField from .xib file doesn't show

A UITextField from .xib file doesn't show when it's page comes up on the iPhone simulator.
The View looks fine in Interface Builder, and no warnings are thrown to Console or IB's Info window.
On the Simulator the View comes up and a Label and a Switch show, but not a UITextField. The Objects are on the same row and their bounds are all appropriate.
I don't see anything in the Text Field Attributes of IB that is problematic, plus I've probably tried all combinations of settings. In Connections there is a reference to a File's Owner attribute.
I have been able to create a UITextField programmatically.

Worked around the problem by deleting the UITextField from the .xib and re-creating it.

Though it discusses Mountain Lion, you need to follow the exact same steps for OS X 10.7.5.
I no longer have any original AEBSs to test. You may need an even earlier version of AirPort Utility. If AirPort Utility 5.6 cannot configure yours, let me know and I will attempt to find the correct version for you. You will need to use the same "extraction" technique described above.
Edit: If 5.6 does not work try this one: AirPort Utility 5.5.3
Important: If you elect to drag that version to your Utilities folder, be sure to give it a unique name. I suggest "AirPort Utility 5.5.3" This is not necessary for AirPort Utility 5.6, which will retain that name on its own.

Apps panel doesn't show installed Creative Cloud apps

None of my apps are showing as installed in the creative cloud application
Adobe are aware this issue exists, but their solution doesn't work ---> Apps panel doesn't show installed Creative Cloud apps
Can't say I'm surprised, Anybody knows how to really solve this problem?

It seems that Adobe doesn't think it's important to check for previous apps installation, and expects the user to manually match the creative cloud language would be installed apps language
So if you see that there is no app installed in your creative cloud just check their language settings in Preferences > Apps > Apps language.

ReportViewer doesn't show in deployed web app

I have created a pretty basic web application in Visual Studio 2010. It uses Access databases with Crystal 13. I created a report based directly from the mdb files (no datasets) which are located in my app_data folder (the same location my report resides). Everything is working perfectly on the development machine, when I publish it to the web server, the Crystal Report Viewer doesn't show. No errors, no messages, just a blank white page. I'm not sure why this is happening, but I did discover that the source code for the page with the Crystal Report Viewer shows full paths to the databases on my C: drive. Is that where my problem is?
If that's the issue, how do I make my database paths relative? I can go to "Set Data Source locations" in the report, but no matter what I do (I tried creating new connections using Access/Excel DAO as well as OLE DB ADO), it always shows a full path.
I have pulled my hair out on this one for a while now. Please help!

Finally, you do not mention if this is a 32 build app or a 64 bit app, 32 or 64 bit OS. IN the .NET IDE you are all 32 bit. Deploying a web app to a 32 bit OS means you have to run the app under a 32bit app pool.
Use an HTTP sniffing utility like [Charles|http://xk72.com/] or [Fiddler|http://www.fiddlertool.com/fiddler/] to determine the viewer HTTP requests.

Open Audio Midi Setup in Applications>Utilities, see the input & output options & KHz setting there, some things will change it for their own use, then not set it back.

Tv series I download to my iPad doesn't show up in videos app?

I recently downloaded from iTunes direct onto my iPad a whole tv series. It took forever. But it doesn't show up on videos and I can't watch it.

Thanks, I hadn't tried that. But I did look and no restrictions in place. If I go to settings, usage, video it shows that it's there but still not in videos app?

a friend of mine has a problem with a CD that works fine for me.
Embedded in a pdf file are links to shockwave-Skripts. Clicking on the link should start the default Internet Browser.
I'm using Adobe Reader version 8.1.4. If I click on a link a warning about security issues is shown and I can read the file in question, including the path, starting with the Volume the CD is mounted in.
My friend is using a higher version of Adobe Reader (8.2.4) but the warning doesn't show the same: the path is missing - he only gets "firefox.exe", while I'm getting "C:\Programme\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" (German file structure, "Programme" equals "Program Files"). Clicking "Open" he gets a "file not found" message while my click opens the program like it is supposed to happen.
We couldn't figure out a difference in our settings, so there must be another solution how to get the paths into the opening procedure. Both of us are using Windows XP...

SWF files doesn't show in flash

I converted some videos into swf files. I opened them in flash player and they all look fine, but when I imported one in flash and put it in the scene the only thing visible was a small white circle, like the one that appears at the center of the objects when you select them. It couldn't be moved, it could barely be selected and it doesn't show up when testing the movie. I have the suspicion that they don't work because they were not originally made in flash, since I have worked with swf files in flash before, but those were banners previously made in flash.
However I would like to hear the opinion and/or advice of someone who knows more than me, I am still a beginner.

video files should be played in flash using the flvplayback component (or using the netstream class), not converted to swfs. ie, create a fla, add an flvplayback component to your stage and, in the properties panel, assign the component's source to be your video file. (use a relative path.)

IMovie crashed now .rcproject file doesn't show in library/project list and won't open.

URGENT PROJECT DUE TODAY.
iMovie crashed while I was working on a project, now I can't c the file in iMovie, however I can see it in Finder and moved to the movie folder, but it still doesn't show in my iMovie library or project list and nothing will open it. It is listed as a .rcproject and I cannot find how to open it. PLZ PLZ HELP

Were you working with iMovie 9 or 10 when you had the crash?
It sounds like you were in iMovie 10 trying to update your iMovie 9 projects into iMovie 10.
If you were working in iMovie 10, see if you can still see everything with iMovie 9.0.9 (the 2 versions have completely different media file structures).
If you were in iMovie 9 it sounds as if the .rcproject package may have got corrupted. You can look inside the package in Finder with the "show package contants" contextual menu but I would not know how to repair it manually.
Do you have a backup or are you running time machine? With a backup you should be able to replace the offending package with a working version.

MacMini doesn't show up in Finder.app on MacBook Pro

I'm using a MacMini (2012) as a headless Server.
After upgrading the MacMini to Yosemite (10.10.2), the MacMini doesn't show up in Finder on my Macbook Pro. I'm using this for Screensharing.
Its very strange, because if the Mini sleeps, it shows up in Finder. Then I click the icon, the Mini wakes up. But then the MacMini Icon disappears. :-(
After reboot the Mini it works as expected until the Mini goes to sleep.
I think its a general problem, because all Bonjour using services (like iStat Server) doesn't work properly. All services doesn't show up automatically.
Direct connect via manual tipping in the IP in the Screensharing.app works without problems.
What I've done:
- Resetting all Network settings, by deleting the /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration folder.
- The discoveryd service is NOT blocked in the Firewall settings.
- restarting all Router and the Airport Express

a dongle is already pluged in.
Its not a general problem with the Screensharing tool. Screensharing is working with dirket IP.
The problem is more the Bonjour discovery to other devices.

ITunes doesn't show updates for those Apps synchronized from iPhone

For example, if I download 3 apps through itunes, then download and install 2 apps on my iphone. After synchronizing the PC and iphone, both of them have 5 apps. Once all of them have updates available, the app store on my iphone can show 5 updates, but iTunes only shows 3 updates, it doesn't show updates for the other two apps. Is it a setting issue? please help me if anyone has answer. Thank you.

Spotlight shows the result of old files doesn't shows words definition

I am sick of my spotlight searchings, firstly it doesn't shows the latest file result as if i create a new document file it doesn't shows its existence and the matter inside that file plus one more than previously i used my spotlight for words definition which came from dictionary now it also doesn't shows that thing as well, from different forums i have search that for re indexing put the hd drive into spotlight preference privacy and than delete that, what i did i drag the hd drive into privacy setting quit spotlight preference and system preference and than open again spotlight preference and in the privacy tab it's nothing there the drive which i just added a few minutes back it was not there so how would i delete it again for re-indexing. i am running mac os x 10.6.6. Pleas help Me thanks =)

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
