FILE - FILE Scenario - output file is not available

I'm doing simple file - file scenario based on the weblog

In RWB >> msg monitor shows, the message status is successful. But I'm unable to find output file in the directory as I mentioned.
Pls help me where to find.. what is the problem

Hi Govind,
These are a few things you can do:
Check the permissions of the folder where the file is being generated by XI.
If you are doing Content conversion, please can you just remove it and see if the XML file is getting generated.
Also, please check if it's picked up by any other application when you place it on the server.
I am assuming out here that you are speaking abt the file that is give by SAP XI after processing the incomming file.
Also check default .trc log file in visual admin.it will tell u if there any errors
and also check the permissions of the files generated by XI

Hi,
I am trying to get all web parts from our sharepoint site by calling web service method GetWebPartProperties of WebPartsPages service. The method works fine for the root page (Home Page) but for pages in sub site i get this in the xml
node, Outer XML - <WebParts xmlns="http://microsoft.com/sharepoint/webpartpages"></WebParts>. I am struck here.
Please help me understand why i am getting this?

We can do as follows:
1. Mark sure the page URL is correct.
2. Check whether current user has permission to access the page.
3. Use SPServices to get web part properties.

Vendor Master: File is not available

Hi All,
I am trying to create a vendor master record for a new company code / plant / purchasing org I have created. I am getting an error message: "file is not available" when trying to save it. The error does not specify the file name that is missing.
Can anyone please throw some light on this?

in general the FSE000 error is issued when a GUI-Upload failes because the function module does not find the file to upload.
I have never seen this error in transaction XK01, so I can just guess.
Maybe you are supposed to attach a document e.g. a letter from your vendor when creating a vendor master, just as a prrof for address and tax codes etc.
Maybe this is controlled thru a user exit.

The Elements 12 shortcut can't find the Elements12.0.exe file so the program will not load. I can load the editor from its .exe file but not the organizer.

Folder Specified for Temporary Files is not Available

Whenever I start PS CS, I get a "The Folder Specified for Temporary Files is not Available" error message. How do I fix this?

Downgrade Mavericks to Snow Leopard
1. Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer
      loads select your language and click on the Continue
      button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the
      Utilities menu.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the
      mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status
      of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then
      the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART
      info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on
      the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions
      from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS
      Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the
      partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on
      the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the installer. Install Snow Leopard.
This will erase the whole drive so be sure to backup your files if you don't have a backup already. If you have performed a TM backup using Lion be aware that you cannot restore from that backup in Snow Leopard (see below.) I suggest you make a separate backup using Carbon Copy Cloner.
If you have Snow Leopard Time Machine backups made while on Snow Leopard, then you may do a full system restore per #14 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions. If you have subsequent backups from Lion, you can restore newer items selectively, via the "Star Wars" display, per #15 there, but be careful; some Snow Leopard apps may not work with the Lion/Mountain Lion files.

Critical BitLocker Drive Encryption system files are not available

Hi all,
We are running into some issues when attempting to configure BitLocker Drive Encryption through the BitLocker UI on Windows Server 2008SP2.
On running the BitLocker configuration screen we are presented with a message stating that
‘Your system volume is not configured correctly to allow you to use BitLocker Drive Encryption.
Critical BitLocker Drive Encryption system files are not available’
We believe this issue may have been caused during a recent hardware migration using the DoubleTake Move software as we encountered a similar issue with the Windows Backup utility not seeing any available HDDs.
Has anyone else encountered a similar issue and aware of any potential fix?

I think it should be supported on Windows Server 2008 as it is supported on Windows Vista.
Can you check whether BdeHdCfg.exe is present in System32 folder. If not can you copy the BdeHdCfg.exe installer from higher version of OS and copy it to the system32 folder on Windows Server 2008 and then run the command with the administrative rights.
NOTE : Make sure to change the directory to %SystemDrive%\Windows\System32
Before running the command.

The E drive (external USB drive) of server which was encrypted using bitlocker. earlier it was working perfectly fine. On running the BitLocker configuration screen we are getting with a message stating that ‘Your system
volume is not configured correctly to allow you to use BitLocker Drive Encryption. Critical BitLocker Drive Encryption system files are not available’
now whenever we are clicking on E drive it is showing to format the disk.
can anyone help me to understand which are the files required or repair for bitlocker?

Sharing Folio - Source .indd files are not available for this article

when sharing a folio, and opening it up in indesign 5.5 all articles say:
"Source .indd files are not available for this article"
What is the point of sharing if you can't change articles and update them?

Because you’re not sharing the InDesign files, you’re sharing the folio.
Pretty similar to sharing a PDF but not the source files.
That said, I’m working on a project with someone else and everything sits in a Dropbox folder. Only I can update the folios but my partner has access to the InDesign files.

Photoshop won't open because scratch file is not available!

Hi, When I try to open my CS5 version of PS, it gives me this error: "Could not open a scratch file because the disk is not available" When I click OK, is gives another warning: "Could not initialize Photoshop because the disk is not available." I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling PS and I still get this problem. I can't open the program to see what is going on with the scratch file/disk! Does anyone know what I can do?

Azure File Services not available in preview

I have created a high availability cloud service with 2 running instances and have encountered an issue with data that was being saved to the RoleEnvironment drive which is of course inaccessible if the user is moved to the other server by the load balancer.
I have therefore been investigating shared files between the instances where I could maintain the file structure of the uploaded zip file after unzipping it but the Azure File Service is not available in preview. Can I please request this for any of the two
subscriptions I belong to please

Hi Mohit (& Adi if this old issue never did get resolved for you),
First, Azure Files only work for new accounts created after your preview has been activated. The easiest ways to check if a new account has the file endpoint or not:
1) Current portal (manage.windowsazure.com): Click on the account, click "Dashboard", you should see Files under service with an end point (see example screenshot at end of message)
2) Alternatively, you can run from a cmd window: "nslookup <youraccountname>.file.core.windows.net". If your account has a file endpoint, the nslookup will resolve rather than saying "can't find the domain"
If you don't see the files end point on new accounts with the above method(s), please let us know and we can look further.

RFC to File scenario.. Messages not available in sxmb_moni

Hi Experts,
I have created simple RFC to File scenario in my sandbox system. First time I am doing this type of scenario.
When I execute the program which is created to call the RFC Function Module nothing is coming into sxmb_moni in sap system as well as in PI system. I don't know why messages is not coming to sxmb_moni.
Please suggest me how to resolve this issue.

first monitor Sender RFC channel in communciation channel monitroing ,after executing program in ECC if BAPI triggered then definely you will see log in RFC sender channel.
if nothing was found then prob in ECC side like Pogram triggered BAPI.

If i am using simple *<h:commandLink>* then it works fine but i am not able to get the text of that link to my action method . In this case i get all the table links text .

Drive with Offline Files folder not available for 2 minutes after being connected to the network.

We use Windows SP1 with one folder from the User HomeDirectory set to be available offline.
The problem we encounter is that when going from Offline to Online via VPN, there is a 2 minutes delay for the drive where the offline folder is located to be available again. Other drives mapped at VPN connection time are available immediately
after we applied KB2705233. Only the drive that contains the folder that we make available offline has this delay issue.
I found out KB2663418 but it does not apply as we have Windows 7 SP1. However the symptoms are the same:
< This issue occurs because the client-side caching (CSC) interface tries to reconnect to the source before the network is actually available. This behavior causes the SMB cache to enter a negative state. In this situation, the CSC interface tries to
reconnect to the source on the next 2-minute retry interval.>
Does one know how to force a check of the connectivity or if there is another fix available ?

Why KB2663418 didn't applied to your computer? It applied to
Windows 7 Service Pack 1, when used with:
Windows 7 Enterprise
Windows 7 Professional
Windows 7 Ultimate
Did you use Windows 7 Home Basic or Home Premium? However, Windows 7 Home Basic and Premium does not support Offline Files.
Thus please try that hotfix.
