Not work plz help
file.isDirectory() check from my system to another system file directory
eg:\\computer1\design\new
(\\Computer name\onefolder\onefolder\)
how to check this path use file.isDirectory() from my systemThe user executing the Java code must have the proper rights to read that directory.
There's not much people here can do for you: if "it doesn't work" (whatever it means) then that's too bad.

Often, this error message means that you have used some version of Nikon software to transfer the photos to your computer, and this has corrupted the files. There is a fix which uncorrupts the files at http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/fix_corrupted_nef.html
But you said you get this message when you "connect my other camera Nikon D3100", the key word being "connect", and this doesn't really fit the description I just gave. This error message normally happens after you have transferred the photos to your computer via Nikon software, not when you connect it. So ... maybe you need to explain a little more ... what exact task (what menu options, what are you clicking on, what are you trying to do) when you get this error.

  • SL500 " this program does not support this system"

I've an SL500 with windows 7 64bit system. It has a fresh system installed. I've installed all the necessary drivers correctly. Now I'm not able to install the followind items with system update utility:
Thinkpad ultranav driver for windows 7
    Thinkpad hotkey features integration driver
    Thinkpad Ultranav utility
If I try to install manually I receive an error message " this program does not support this system".
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I had the same problem with Thinkpad hotkey features integration driver Version 3.84.1500
    (and the latest version 3.84.2000)
    It is a faulty installation!
    2 Files missing.
Solution until Lenovo fixes the installation:
    Download and extract latest version.
    Download and extract version 3.81.0100.
Copy the files SWI32.sys and SWIX64.sys from version 3.81.0100 to the corresponding folder of the latest version.
    Start setup.exe of latest version.
According to the file properties SWI32.sys and SWIX64.sys are used as 'System Information Detector'.
No wonder we get the error message 'this program does not support this system'
    Lenovo, please fix it.

In case you did not find it, the following is a copy/paste of the Announcement on Premiere Elements 19/NVIDIA GeForce
that appears at the top of this forum.
Premiere Elements 10 NVIDIA Video Card Driver Roll Back
If you are a Premiere Elements 10 user whose Windows computer uses a NVIDIA GeForce video card and you are experiencing
Premiere Elements 10 display and/or unexplained program behavior, then your first line of troubleshooting needs to be rolling
back the video card driver version instead of assuring that it is up to date.
Since October 2013 to the present, there have been a growing number of reports about display and unexplained workflow
glitches specific to the Premiere Elements 10 user whose Windows computer has a NVIDIA GeForce video card. If this applies
to you, then the “user to user” remedy is to roll back the NVIDIA GeForce video card driver as far as is necessary to get rid of
the problems. The typical driver roll back has gone back as far as March – July 2013 in order to get a working Premiere
Elements 10. Neither NVIDIA nor Adobe has taken any corrective action in this regard to date, and none is expected moving forward.
Since October 2013, the following thread has tried to keep up with the Premiere Elements 10 NVIDIA reports

  • Acrobat Pro "save as" function in the file menu does not show the current directory of the file

I have installed CC but Acrobat Pro gives me headaches.
The "save as" function in the file menu does not show the current directory of the file but something I have worked on in the past.
It forces me to navigates through my hard disk for this very straightforward thing in normal conditions. I precise: Acrobat is the only software reacting like that.
    I use Windows7 professional 64bits.

I use what seems to be the latest version available on the Cloud:
To illustrate my point, I open a directory with explorer and double-click on the only PDF in there:
    So here it is, open:
When I do a "Save as", it takes me to a totally different place on the disk!
    Very annoying...

  • "URL's with the type "file." are not supported"

"URL's with the type "file." are not supported" Can anyone tell me how to remove this message?
I installed Lion and I see a lot of people have the same problem.
    Help

    Not a nice answer!
Posting "Check the 'More like this' area" and not simply providing the answer is a great way to make these groups worthless. Hence, for a while, all I would get is versions of this same arrogant message.
Here's the answer so someone else doesn't get locked into the same loop I did:
I just solved my problem, which was the same perplexing message that kept popping up.  It happened to be a Time Machine issue.  When I installed Lion, apparently the Time Machine had been turned on by the installer because it kept searching for the Apple.com server, to which I'm not subscribed.  Prior to the installation I had always backed up to an external HD; not Apple's online service.  Searching Apple Support Forums, I found "Troubleshooting Time Machine' and followed the instructions to "reset Time Machine".  Now things are back to normal.  I hope this is of some help.

  • I have 200+ files that "is not supported by the ipod."!!

ipod q: everytime i connect my ipod to computer, an itunes popup window tells me that "Some of the items in the iTunes library, including [song title], were not copied to the iPod because they cannot be played on this ipod." they were fine before!
what! this includes podcasts, songs etc. there's a list of 208(!!!!) files that "were not copied becaause the file type is not supported by the ipod"!
what do i do? are these files permanently lost? i can't play them on my itunes even though i can view the files.

sounds like an authorisation problem try selecting all the files that won't play, then go to "window" (ithink) then un authorise the files the do the same thing again but this time authorise them. I don't have itunes infront of me right now to double check but i think that should be right.

  • I have the Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 "Classroom in a Book" but my computer says "File Format is not Supported" when I try to use accompanying DVD. What is wrong please, I really like the book and want to learn!

I've had the product for a while and have tried editing without the book and using video's but it goes slow and I don't feel like I'm learning.
I'm sure there are shortcuts to be had and I'm re-inventing the wheel it seems.
"File Format not supported" means exactly what? Is my Windows Version not compatible?
Not used to chat rooms, would prefer personal training but that is not the way of things anymore.

Okay, so I Right Click and nothing says "Link Media".
When I double click on an asset it says, "the selected file cannot be linked because it has 2 audio channel(s) and the clip was created with 1 audio channel(s)."
However 1 video clip asset does open in CS4.
The "Lesson One" project itself says, "file format not supported." still.

You probably need to search for Flip4Mac to view a Windows video file on a Mac.

  • Windows 8 FTP Folder in File Explorer - Interface Not Supported

I access my FTP site Via Windows Explorer in Windows 7 and Have tried doing the same via File Explorer in Windows 8
When I double click a File in the FTP folder, whereas in W7 It would download a copy and open the file, In W8 I receive the error Interface Not Supported.
Does anyone know of a fix for this?
    Thanks in advance.
    Tim

I remember seeing something similar happen in Windows Explorer on W7 after I installed Google Chrome, however this was happening right from first install on W8.
I seem to remember the solution in W7 was a registry fix but I'm not sure whether this would work in W8
    Ravenstar68
    Edit
Just remembered it wouldn't let you create the ftp site in W7 so was a different problem
I was waiting to see if you brought that up.
When I first made the standard ftp shortcut (the kind that opens IE), it had no association.  That green bird-foot arrow icon comes from OpenWith.exe.
Double-clicking the shortcut brought up a very reduced-choice metro dialog.  Those were the only choices.  No OpenWith browse options there.
There wasn't even a Open With... choice in the right-click dialog.
I was curious to see what might happen if I made the wrong choice.  It was very unforgiving.
No obvious way to fix it.  No OpenWith right-click context menu.
I had to reassociate ftp elsewhere.
Even now that I have everything straightened out, the right-click menus don't offer OpenWith.
The left pic above shows the ordinary IE ftp shortcut.  I can drag-n-drop it into Firefox and it works.  But there's no OpenWith option for that.
The right pic above shows the File Explorer ftp shortcut.  What in the world is that "Open folder location" option?  It launches IE to my (blank) home page.  Hmm?
Just thought I'd share all this with you, since you brought up initializing ftp access.
Deluxe in some ways, but pretty ragged in others.

  • Cannot open .pdf files (corrupt or not supported?

I am using OSX 10.9.1 and my wife saves .pdf files of knitting patterns.  When she tries to open them at a later time she gets the "file is corrupt or not supported."  I have looked every where I know to find a fix.

Well, I would think that you have a relative or a friend who can lend you a computer. In any case, if your wife can open the files when just downloaded, and cannot open them later, I would think that they are getting corrupted although I cannot imagine why.
