File Manager Reported and Error

I am trying to save a file and I keep getting a message :While attempting to access "-TemporarySaveFile-" the File Manager reported an error.
How can I save the file...or do I have to restart the computer and lose everything?

What program? I don't think I've ever seen the term "File Manager" used wrt Mac OS except in comparing Finder to other OS or third-party file managers.

Error Logging in B2B Business Message Status Reports and Error Reports.

Hi,
Could someone please let us know as to how the error messages are being shown up in the b2b frontend in the Business Message Details Report and Error Reports.
In some of the cases the error message logging is not happening properly and even against the valid transaction block the entire iAudit Report or the B2B Analyzer report is getting posted .
In some cases the error message is logged as AIP-51505: General Validation Error (for the transaction block which is valid and having no errors)
Is there any way from the b2b backend these error messages and business messages could be traced or is there any other way wherein the proper and relevant error messages could be tracked from B2B.

Error status reports identify error message details. These details include the error code, error text, business message identification, message date, and message details.

Where to find the migration reports and errors

i am using Oracle SQL developer 3.0 for migrating MS SQL 2008 to oracle using migration wizard,after clicking on finish the tool throws the null as error window and asked me to look into migration reports. where should i find the migration reports and errors

Log into the SQL Developer Migration repository and you get the list of Migration Projects.
Click on the project you're interested into and on the right side you get a pane with Status, Summary, Analysis...
The Summary pane shows you how many objects SQL Dev migrated.
You also have Capture isues showing you the issued during the capture phase as well as Conversation Issues etc.

When pressing the "R" on the keyboard to record the following pop up - "Beta-only warning message-not to be localized Can't create record files please report" and then this "error occurred Result= -48" What does this mean?

Network DR test causes Exchange DAG network to fail (Failover Cluster Manager reports comms errors)

We have a DAG configured between 2 mailbox servers, one in each of our main data centres. Our comms team recently performed a DR test between our 2 data centres, switiching from the main production link to the backup link. During this outage the Failover
Cluster Manager reported errors, with each mailbox server reporting the other as uncontactable. The Events that were logged include the following:
Isatap interface isatap.{02ADE20A-D5D4-437F-AD00-E6601F7E7A9D} is no longer active. (EventID 4201)
Cluster node 'MAILBOX_SERVER' was removed from the active failover cluster membership. The Cluster service on this node may have stopped. This could also be due to the node having lost communication with other active nodes in the failover cluster. Run the
Validate a Configuration wizard to check your network configuration. If the condition persists, check for hardware or software errors related to the network adapters on this node. Also check for failures in any other network components to which the node is
connected such as hubs, switches, or bridges. (EventID 1135)

Our Comms team doesn't believe it is a comms issue as they did not log any network communication errors between the servers in the two sites (using icmp). So if it is not a comms issue, how can I configure the Failover Cluster Manager to be resilient to
this type of network failover event.

Isn't it also true that in a stretched DAG with even numbered nodes, the PAM needs to be in the same site as the active DAG node? If the connection between both nodes goes down, and the PAM is in the "passive" site, the primary node will
dismount the databases since it can't check with the PAM to make sure its safe for it to be up.
In a even-numbered node stretched DAG, the PAM changes to the DR/passive site everytime a failover occurs, but doesn't automatically switch back when you reactivate the primary node.

Failed to execute default file manager (Input /Output Error) [SOLVED]

I'm having an issue in XFCE where the default Terminal, Browser and File Manager launch correctly - but with this error:
Failed to execute default [file manager] [terminal emulator] [browser]
Input /Output Error
I have the requisite "Preferred Application" set as Chrome/Thunar/xfce4-terminal.
If I run
exo-open --launch FileManager
From terminal, it says:
[1] 4281 segmentation fault (core dumped) exo-open --launch FileManager
Remember, it launches the app successfully - and the apps themselves launch correctly, it's only exo-open that I have a problem with! Everything else works great on this system.

Tried downgrading glibc from 2.21-3 to 2.21-2 as this is the package which contains libpthread.so, and on my other arch workstations I don't have the issue, but to no avail, same error box pops up when using exo-open, and my IDEs are not starting.
I'll try comparing installed packages versions on both workstations.

File Manager slow and fails

STA100-3 10.2.1.2991 I notice that sometimes the File Manager is slow or does seem to work. In particular, SMS Backup app (which has worked for over a year) has started to fail when it calls the File Manager. The app developer doesn't see this, but functionally when the app calls the File Manager the screen dims for a while and then nothing. I've tried deleting the app and reinstalling it and mutilple reboots in the process to make sure memory is max and still have an issue. Also, when I try to add photos etc in email or FB it sometimes fails to bring up the File Manager to select attachments/photos.

With my recent update to VZW's 10.3.2.858 this issue is resolved. Must have been a corrupt OS file issue.

Work Group Manager Reports and Logs

Mac Manager maintains logs and display current activity information somewhat different that Work Group Manager. With Mac Manager we are able to quickly report for Activity Log, Disk Usage, Connected Machines, Printer Quotas, Workgroup by User, Computers, Checked Out Computers and user activity.
How can we duplicate such a report with Work Group Manager?
We are a school district that is 88% Macintosh and miss the reports and logs feature in Mac Manager (10.3.9).
Hope to hear and find a solution to this challenge.

Open SVG File, manage it and save it

i'm new using java and batik
i've a svgFile.svg and i want to manage it, and later to save the changes in a newsvgFile.svg
i open the svgFile.svg and i put it in a 'org.w3c.dom.Document docSVG'
now i want to manage it, but i suppose it wont be a problem with batik toolkit...
but the problem is this:

Labview 2011 NI Report and error 7

I know this topic has been cover in this forum many times, but I just can’t get it working.
Recently, we have updated our labview from 8.2 (Window XP) to 2011 sp1 (Window 7), and of course, NI report stops working.
In our software, we have a project that eventually gets compile into a DLL (Not AN .EXE, THIS IS NOT AN EXECUTABLE). In this DLL, we modify an excel spread sheet. As a result, we need the NI report tool kit.
Now I know that you would have to manually include the two folders (NIReport and LVclass)in your project in order for this to work in labview 2011, which I did by following the link below.

I made sure that the two folders were “Always Included”, and not using the labview 8.x file layout. After the compiling has been complete, one DLL was created (with 4 other files, which is good because I only want one DLL). I assumed that the NI report tool kit is included in the build since I selected “Always included”.
After that I ran my main top level vi. The main top level vi tried to access the DLL, and I got error 7,

The reason I didn't select "use Labview 8.x file layout" is because it will also create 10 extra support folders (I think this is due to name conflicts in the DLL directory) after compiling the project. This is not an acceptable solution for my customer since no one would want a DLL that comes with so many extra files.
And yes, I am aware of the file layout after Labview 2009. However, the path to NI_Excel.lvclass (C:\BUILD PATH\DLL NAME.dll\1abvi3w\vi.lib\Utility\NIReport.llb\Excel\NI_Excel.lvclass) was provided by “Excel class path.vi” (vi.lib\Utility\NIReport.llb\Excel class path.vi). In “excel class path.vi” it checks to see if the application is using the 8.x layout or not.
I switched to “use Labview 8.x file layout” just for testing reasons but it still doesn’t work. The file path for NI_Excel.lvclass is now C:\BUILD PATH\DLL NAME.dll\Excel\NI_Excel.lvclass (provided by “Excel class path.vi”). I also hard coded the path to C:\BUILD PATH\DLL NAME.dll\NI_Excel.lvclass and that doesn’t work too.
I have created a simple project to demonstrate my problem. Copy the attached folder to your desktop and you will see a folder named “Excel”. Open the “excel Test” project and build the DLL, check the build path and make sure it’s building to “Desktop\excel\Exceltest”. After that go to the DLL TEST folder (\Desktop\excel\DLL TEST) and run DLL test.vi. Make sure the path to the DLL (on the block diagram) is correct and run the vi. You should see the error I am talking about.

How to deploy custom JSP file in reporting and analysis workspace extented services?

Hi All,
We are using Oracle EPM 11.2.3 Interactive reporting. We need add on functionality on the existing workspace and developed a JAVA code for that. Now we are facing challenges with deploying JSP file with existing weblogic server. does anybody did it before? we followed oracle doc but not useful.
The task of JSP file would get the user information from the existing session then list the file which user has access and follow.
Do we have any doc related to this? Your help is highly appreciated.

After deployed inside the OC4J server. Run the index page by
Calling like http://hostname:port/earname/index.jsp
While deploying the ear file you would have given a name for the ear file use that name in the URL.
If so then you can see the provider displayed on the index page. Then click on the provider name it will take you to the next page where it will display all the portlet inside the provider.
Please copy the URL and paste it while registering the Provider with the portal server.
Because the server will try to navigate to the URL mentioned while registering if the server dint find the proper URL then registration fails.
Try this and let me know.

Non-indexing of word files in spotlight and error message

Spotlight on my macbookpro seems not to index any of msword files (including those with .doc in the name), and so I tried going into the terminal and typing "mdimport -f directoryname. The result was an endless flood of error messages like those below. I'm clueless, but it seems like it's saying the appropriate plugin is not loading. Anybody understand what's really going on?

I noticed that the update info showed that it was supposed to improve things. My experience was that when it came to content indexing Spotlight seemed to take its own sweet time about getting that done--it seemed like it continued to add content indexes long after it finished its regular index run. So that might be a factor. Also, it is my understanding that it does not index everything in very long files, only the first so many pages (don't remember just how many and am not sure that is correct info, Doc Smoke would know), and if that is true length could be a factor. I just re-indexed a folder full of MSWord docs, and Spotlight does seem to be finding the content now, however the files are all short, one to two pages. I did a search in another folder, which contains a few MSWord docs and which I had not re-indexed, and Spotlight did find one file that had a unique word but not another (in a longer file). So it looks like the situation may be improved, but you will have to re-index to see any of the improvement.

File not refreshing and error problem

well i have 2 problems..
first:
i dont know why a jsp file does not reload to the edited version
meaning lets say I have a jsp file doing something it loads up fine and does I edit the file and try reloading the old copy keeps on coming back..
there are times when the new copy loads up but that is rare..
second can anyone tell me what is wrong with this code.. I cant figure out what is wrong with it.. only in the <form></form> tags

In case you are running Tomcat 4.1 the java file and class file of your jsp is located in Tomcat 4.1/work/standalone/.. and your file should be named something like MyJspPage_jsp.java (try search for it).
About your nullpointer, you should check your spelling when requesting parameters,
request.getParameter("action") is not the same as request.getParameter("Action") etc.
