File modification times affected by Daylight saving changes?

After daylight time changes Dreamweaver warns me about files on the server modified since I put them last time.
So what is stored in my local computer and the server date's are off by one hour.
At first I thought some hacker modified the files exactly one hour after I did to make less obvious the modification time, but that's not the case.
It doesn't happen one hour after, nor a whole month. It always happened with old files, and now it makes sense it only happens after a daylight saving shift.
Is there any way to fix it?
Is there any time zone or similar setup I need to make?
My computer always has the correct time.
I already spoke with the host and they don't find any issue nor malicious code modifying the files. Only my IP has modified files.

Do you only work from one system?
I have at least three that I do edits and uploads from, and I see this all the time when I'm not on the machine I last uploaded from.

File modification time with WEBDAV

Can I change the file modification time when uploading a file using WEBDAV in Sun One 6.1 ?
Exists some way to maintain the files modification times of a WeBDAV collection and all its files when I copy them in another one?
Where can I obtain information in this respect ?

COPY is supposed to work the way as a normal file system's "cp" works. The last modification time of target file should be set to the time the copy was made. There is no way to preserve the modification and access time of the source file into the target file.

Daylight Saving Changes 2007

Hi, I am using new_time() function in my code which takes timezone abbreviations like (PST, CST) to convet time from one timezone to other. As a part of DST changes in March 2007, do we also need to change this function to use abbreviations other than this?
I tried doing this, but it returns an error.

I actually just solved this issue on my ICloud Calendar on my PC It was an hour ahead since 3/10/13 due to daylight savings time. My Iphone was fine.
On the ICloud Calendar click on your name. The time zone shows up. In my case it said Central Standard Time so I thought it was okay. However if you click on the Time Zone a map comes up showing the time zone. It will indicate was city in the time zone you are using. Mine had a city in Guatemala. When I switched it to the closest city to me, it solved the problem.

Some more information would be nice (how many computers are in the domain?), but I think I have what you're looking for.
What you need to do is change a registry key in the client computers. It's located in the registry at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation
The string name is DynamicDaylightTimeDisabled and the value for this item is
0 (Kind of weird - by entering 0, you're saying "No, I DON'T want to DISable daylight savings time).
Of course, you'll need to deploy this registry information to the clients from the server. There are several ways to do it, but the first one I'd try is to create a registry preference item on the server and deploy it as a GPP.

Sort by file modification time

I'm helping a friend out moving his IPhoto library. I'm trying make the process as streamlined as possible as he is not very computer savvy. He has number of albums that are in a custom sort order in iphoto. I do not see an option to sort by file modification time in LR. Although there is option by edit time (this pertains to stuff done in LR I assume). The process i plan on going through is the export the photos from iphoto album's. This should date/time stamp the file in the custom sort order they are in iphoto. But as said earlier in the post not option sort by file modification time.

Not really. The newest lib_file package from the OpenG Toolkit http://sourceforge.net/projects/opengtoolkit/ has a (now) working function to call a documented LabVIEW manager function to change among other things the modification time of a file. It would be a wise choice to actually use the 'get' method first and then change the value you want to modify in the cluster and call the 'set' method then.
You can download the OpenG package directly from above mentioned link but I would recommend to first get the OpenG Commander from http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/ogpm/openg_commander-2.0-alpha3.zip?download and after installing that one you can run it and download all the OpenG packages directly from within.

Wrong file modification times through api?

Hello guys,
it seems to me that the CS5 server has a problem with the file modification date. The first time I saw this was when I tried to get the modification time of the current document opened on the server through app.documents[0].filePath.modified. It always returned the wrong time and I was not able to fix this, so I let the feature down. Now I think I found another situation where this "bug" seems to take place.
- Export a story into incopy format (icml)
- change the local icml-file
- update the link on the server, everything ok
- another change on the local file
- update the link, and now, the content is not updated
- save document
- restart server
- open document again
- update link, and the content is updated correctly
Maybe this two problems are connected but I can not say this for sure. I hope a developer can take a look at this.

This class uses XML?. Because it may be a problem with the MSXML Parser version. What version do you have?

SCEP scheduled scan time problem with daylight-saving time?

Since the daylight-saving time change from last weekend (1 hour earlier) we see that a large group of SCEP clients start their scheduled scan at 11:00 where we have it set in the policy in SCCM2012 at 12:00.
Most workstations still begin their scan at 12:00.
Any idea?

Function module for knowing if Time falls in daylight saving.

Incorrect daylight saving change for Brazil, 2008

Leopard is still using outdated (2007) timezone rules for Brazil, where DST starts Oct 14 and ends on Feb 17. This is wrong for 2008.
On Sep 8 this year a new decree was passed regarding DST changes. It should start on every third sunday in October, and end on every third sunday in February, except when this coincides with Carnival Sunday; then it's postponed to the next Sunday[1].
It's a stupid complicated rule, but the tzinfo database has already been update to reflect this, and I expected OS X to do the same, considering it's BSD heritage, but alas, here I am with my clock showing one hour past what it should be.

Manually updating zoneinfo fixes the time in terminal and unix programs, but it's still broken in Cocoa programs (like, the menu clock). Could we please have an Apple issued update to fix this?

Citadel time wrong after daylight savings change

I have just noticed that all of my previous alarms in Citadel are now
off by 1 hour after the fall time change. For example, an alarm that
occured at 4:00 am yesterday (and was in the Citadel database as 4:00
am yesterday), is now shown as 3:00 am after the time change.
Any work arond for this? I am running lookout 6.0
Also, is there a way to change the order of the date field in Citadel?
It displays as month first in the date colum. I would like YYYYMMDD
HHMMSS so when I export to Excel it will sort corectly.

What Bob said is correct. You can change the way Excel formats
the date to however you want by right-clicking on the cells and
selecting Format Cells..., then clicking on either Date, Time,
or Custom, and changing the format that way, however this will have no
bearing on how Excel sorts the columns. The values are stored in
Universal Time format.

Daylight Saving Change - Now Alarm wont work

I think alot of people have had this problem. The alarm on my phone no longer works and if it does it goes off an hour early. Is this problem going to be fixed as i have only used an alarm on my cellphone for as long as i can remember and never had an issue with any other phones. If i had known that i wouldnt be able to use my alarm (very important feature) I would never have bought an iphone!! Please advise asap!

Daylight Saving Time Changes in 2007 for USA

Can anyone give me solution how to handle Daylight saving Time changes in 2007 in USA for JDK 1.3.x releases? We are using this due to some vendor dependency. We can�t upgrade to higher versions up to middle of the 2007. I would be thankful if somebody gets back to me.

I have a similar issue where we cannot upgrade the jdk 1.1 without involving a lot of effort. If we keep the same old jdk, can someone tell me if use of Date and Calendar api will be impacted by the Daylight saving change.....provided the timezone is default and not explicitly set to EST. Also there isnt any timezone related buss logic.
