File Name is Showing different

Hi All,
I have done a File To File
Multiline scenario successfully.
The sending file name is sale.txt
and in the receiver communication
channel, file name scheme is
sale.xml.
But in the destination folder i
am receiving that file in
different name (for eg: benzene)
Could you please let me know
where could be error ?

PSE 5.0.2 - Vista 64-Bit - File Name Not Showing Up In Editor Title

Hello...
I'm running PSE 5.0.2 on Vista 64-bit.
When I open a file, the name of the file doesn't show up in the Editor title (upper left hand corner of screen). It just says Editor - Photoshop Elements 5.0
So I don't know whether the file is a .psd or .jpg or whatever unless I look at the photo bin.
How do I get the file name to show up in the Editor title?

Have you maximized the photo window within the editor?
Why does it matter, when you are editing, whether the file is .jpg or .psd or something else?

File name not showing up at RIP from Intel Pro

I have both G4 and newer Pro G5 running CS3. If I send an ID file to the RIP from my G4 the file name will appear correctly in the Queue window. If I send an ID file from my newer Pro Intel it shows the printer name (ie 1800) but not the file name. This makes it hard to identify different jobs at the RIP. I've looked at my Print & Fax System preferences and they seem to be the same. Any ideas? Thanks, Roger

I just upgraded my G4 to CS3 from CS2 where I had no problem. The G4 has no problem even with CS3. I thought it was probably a CS3 issue until I upgraded, not an Intel issue. I may be wrong.

File name not showing in grid view

I just upgraded to LR 5.4 and I noticed that now when I am in grid view, only the capture date and dimensions show on the image when I run my cursor over it. I used to get a quick pop-up with the file name, capture date & dimensions, so I can quickly see where I am in my numbering system. I have looked at the preferences and also in view, but it is not apparent to me where it went, plus I know I didn't change anything, intentionally.
BTW, I also upgraded to Mavericks OS on my iMac, but I hope that is not what is wrong. I know Adobe put out a bunch of "patches" for Bridge, etc. but I have already downloaded and updated all that.

When you are in Library module/Grid mode, the text that appears in the hovering action is controlled by the Info Overlay. The Info Overlay has three states: Off, Info 1 and Info 2.
Go to View>Loupe Overlay and put a check mark next to the Overlay you wish to be active and your hovering enabled text will change to match that text.

Same sender file name with a different extension

Hello Friends,
My scenario is I have an xyz.xml file coming and i need to have the same file name in the receiver but with a different extension as xyz.csv and the source file name will not be the same, it will be changing.
Can you please help me on this.this is a bit urgent to me.

Same source file name with a different extension

Hi All,
I have a source file which is dynamic all the time. Can I create a target file which has the same name as the source file but with a different extension.
Scenaio is file to file.
test. xml is the source file name and the target file name should be as test.csv

you can write a java code (either in UDF or import in imported archive and use in imterface mapping).
The piece of code is..

Getting original file name to show in Metadata list.

I always convert to dng first thing. Then rename the files with clients name. I know that the original file name is still in the metadata, but how do I get it to show up on LR's metadata list?

Ah. Thank you very much. I figured it was simple, just did not have time to play around to try to find it. I do not often need it, but sometimes my boss will edit a shoot before giving it to me. I prepare it for the customer. Sometimes he has wanted an image that he has under the original file name. So, this helps. Thanks again.

How do I prevent the video file name from showing up on apple tv looping video playlist?

Ok so here is my dilemma. I use my apple tv as a way to loop a video playlist on my tv for guests. I usually only have 2 videos that play and they loop continuously all day just fine. However, when one video ends and the other begins, the file name appears (I'm assuming it's the file name) at the bottom left corner as the video is starting. Is there a way to get rid of that? I want a streamlined experience and it takes away from the video. So, all in all I have an apple tv. I use it to loop a video playlist on a tv for people to watch in the background. When a video begins, the file name appears and I want to know if I can get rid of that through the apple tv. Also note both videos were edited in iMovie. Thank you.

Can't get Version or File name to show in Email.

When I email an image directly from Aperture, I would like the filename to appear in the email. I thought this could be set somewhere, but I'm drawing a blank and can't get a filename or any meta data to show up in my emailed images. I'm using Apple Mail.

Pagemaker did not have native tables. There was the app Adobe Table which you could create a stand-alone table file, then export to place in PM. So, this file is probaly not a "table", and most likely text. But you could easily convert text to table in Indesign, and then setup your alternating rows.

File names not showing up

I am running Audition 3.0 on a BRAND NEW HP Envy running Windows 8.1 For the last month AA 3.0 has been working
fantastic until just this morning when I opened a file and it appeared on my timeline just fine.
BUT, the name of the file did not appear on the upper left hand portion of the screen - nothing, nada, blank.
This is causing a TREMENDOUS slowdown, need to get this fixed...any solutions???

All .doc must be sent to e-mail address departmentA(a)companyname.com.
All .xls must be sent to departmentB(a)companyname.com.
I use Mail Package and keep attachment, without ASMA.

Here is my procedure for downloading from Oracle database to the client, the file is stored in a Blob field, a DAD was defined with no errors, in fact the upload works with no errors. The files are in text format, the field MIME_TYPE has the value 'text/plain' and DAD_CHARSET is ascii.

All functions are runing well, in fact it downloads with no errors but the file name that is suggested is the name of the package where the procedure es saved.
How can the real file name be showed on here? it is the parameter p_filename

Files names written in Arabic didn't show correctly in the "Files panel" in Audition CS6

In Adobe Audition CS6 and Unlike the previous version(s) of Adobe Audition the Arabic file name didnt show from right to left in the files panel and in the file name tab as shown
please note that I did select (English with arabic Support) when I installed Audition.
It must be read from left to right. while the correct reading of it is right to left. And the example above must be read "ملف للتجربة"
# I think this problem is common with non arabic support in all CS6 software like after effect for example.

Audition does not support right-to-left language display at this time, though I'll submit a feature request. I doubt it will be supported for filenames until such time as the application itself is localized for Arabic and other right-to-left languages.

File name with different type

Hi,
I need to send specific date format with file name to two different receivers. So the file name is same for both the two receivers but file extension is different. So I configured with dynamic configuration in UDF and in the receiver channel i have given .txt and .dat but it is not working. Can we do it in any other way.

Hi Kum,
If I am not wrong, you must be using conditional receiver determination for determining 2 receivers.
In this case, you can define 2 separate mappings which you can call in Interface determinations (2 interface determinations).
In one mapping, you can have UDF for .txt file and in other .dat file.
