File Need for Oracle 10g AS from Oracle 10g Jdeveloper

Dear All,
I have completed my application for running on Oracle 10g AS.
What files and the structure that I should maintenace/ keep
without having all file and structure like what we have in oracle
10g J developer on Mywork folder?
Help me ..please...
regards
erie

Erie,
if you are deploying to Oracle Application Server 10g (9.0.4) or higher, then you don't need to deploy the ADF runtime libraries because they are already there.
If you create a deployment profile for the application you want to deploy - e.g. a WAR file or EAR file deployment - then you can select the files you want to deploy. The default settings typically include all teh necessary files.

    Hello,
now this message is pretty obvious. So the needed information would be:
    ls -ld /oracle/QAA/102_64/rdbms/admin
    ls -ld /oracle/QAA/102_64/rdbms/admin/log
    ls -ld brtools
    id
and then compare if the user executing brtools has appropiate rights.
Most likely you did not run saproot.sh so brtools might not be set suid to oraqaa
and you are executing as qaaadm.

  • Minimum Files needed for bare bones XP Install?`

    Hello
I'm new here having recently bought my first MBP. Does anyone know the minimum files needed for a custom (lite) XP Pro install using BootCamp?
All I want to run is DV-Rack plus maybe 1 or 2 other programs but I don't want to waste space on my 200gb HD. I do't even want to install MS Office because I like iWorks better.
    Thanks
    Allen

My recommendation is nothing short of 12GB. For your purposes, that you indicated in your post, 12GB should be fine. Please also consider any future uses that you may have for Windows XP. I have seen several times, on this forum, where a user sets the partition too low and then wishes to increase the size and it cannot be done unless Boot Camp and Windows is re-installed from scratch.
If you can afford the disk space then I would even recommend 32GB and that would allow you to have some space left for future programs if any.

Can synced photos on my iPad be sent back to my Mac? I lost pics in my iPhoto file needed for a presentation.

And of course I forgot about the built in way to send them back to the Mac .... Email them. You can email up to 5 photos at at time.
Launch the photos app, while looking at the photos in thumbnail view - tap the arrow icon in the upper right corner - tap on up to 5 photos at a time - Tap the Share button in the upper left corner - tap email from the resulting window.

The dvd-rom drive will not read any type of dvd or cd.

This Sony dvd rom was installed (by someone else) and replaced the dvd rom that initially came with the Dell E310.
Where can I find driver files for this dvd rom?
    Thanks,

    Hello Denise,
    Welcome to the Sony Community.
All of the Sony internal optical drives are plug & play with Windows so no drivers are required for detection in your PC. If you are having issues getting your drive detected then please try the following:
    • Ensure the Sony drive is set as a secondary master by itself. If you have another disc burner or a zip drive on the same IDE cable, please separate them.
    • Ensure you have the latest Service pack for your Windows operating system and any other updates for your system installed.
    service, storage support email
    • Please remove your secondary IDE channel from the Device Manager.
If the issue is still not resolved, service may be required. You may contact the Sony Storage support team by e-mail at: [email protected] for further information.
    Thank you for your post.

What cable do I need for a full migration from a 2011 MacBook Pro to a new current one-wireless migration way too slow.?

All you need is an Ethernet cable.
Just plug it into both machines. Don't bother with a crossover cable, just a plain old Ethernet cable will do. The Ethernet ports on the Macs are smart and will adjust appropriately.

  • Which licenses do I need for the Enterprise Portal from Dynamics AX R2 2012

    Dear Community,
some time ago i heard about the Enterprise Portal, which requires a SharePoint 2013 and a Dynamics AX R2 2012 Server.
My company has a fully licensed SharePoint 2013 Enterprise Server and enough CALs. We also have a Dynamics AX 2009 Server running.
Now to my question: What licenses are needed to get a Enterprise Portal with Dynamics AX 2012?
    Thanks for your responses.
    Sincerely ShareBear9280

    Hi ShareBear,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to know which licenses needed for the Enterprise Portal from Dynamics AX 2012 R2.
There are 4 types of user CALs in Dynamics AX 2012 R2 - Enterprise, Functional, Task, and Self Serve. The number of CALs needed is related to who these users are and what they do.
More information, please refer to the link:
    http://community.dynamics.com/ax/f/33/t/114710.aspx
For this issue, I recommend you can post your question to the forum for Microsoft Dynamics AX:
http://community.dynamics.com/ax/f/33.aspx .More experts will assist you, then you will get more information relation to Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

Any body can give me a suggestion for downloading the MSS -BusinessPackage ,and also what are the files needed for the deployment -its in a urgent basis and reward points welcome!
    regards,
    S.Rajeshkumar

    Hi Rajesh,
You have to download and deploy the following through SDM (for NW04s/EP7),
    1. Business Package for MSS (contains roles, worksets for your Business Package)
    2. PCUI_GP (WebDynpro Component)
    3. SAP_MSS (WebDynpro Coponent - your MSS application files)
To use ESS and MSS in Conjunction, you also have to deploy Business Package for Common Parts.
Backend SAP systems should have SAP HR and SAP FIN configured.

A script which integrates if new location is created in set of books of accounts or any entity will be created in Oracle Apps. and stored in specific db. From where i have staging area where relevent DB with req feilds and records.
    Thanks in Advance

    Hello,
If you review the FDM Workbench Admin Guide there is a sample one already.
There are only a few differences between Oracle and SQL:
    1. The provider string (which can be generated by looking at a .UDL file in a text editor)
    2. Oracle DB's are case sensitive, and by default everything non-quoted is pushed to uppercase (which is pretty much everything for FDM)
    Thank you.

  • Suggested data file size for Oracle 11

    Hi all,
Creating a new system (SolMan 7.1) on AIX 6.1 running Oracle 11.
I have 4 logical volumes for data sized at 100gb each.  During the installation I'm being asked to input the size for the data files. The default is "2000mb/2gb" is this acceptable for a system sized like mine, or should I double them to 4gb each? I know the max is 32gb per data file but that seems a bit large to me.  Just wanted to know if there was a standard best practice for this, or a formula to use based on system sizing.
I was not able to find any quick suggestions in the Best Practices guide on this unfortunately...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

  • OS file type for the 10g R2 installation

I have a new AIX 5.3L system, and ready to install the 10g R2. When I check the file type of file system, I noticed that the contractor formated the hard drive (hdisk0) in jfs2 for OS itself and other three hds in jfs type and create the basic filesystem,/oracle_app, /oradata in jfs type hds. I knew there is a limitation of creating file larger than 2 G in 10g, However, for the installation of 10g and later operation, Do I need to install the oracle under jfs2 file type, just in case , for example for some media data file to be stored?

Maybe I did not descirbe it clearly. Let me try again.
I have 4 hds on the systems. Besides the OS filesystems, such as /home, /tmp, /user which are by default, other filesystems created by user, ex /myOracle, /myOradata were using jfs file type. So when I first installed the Oracle, there was a problem in process to create a datafile bigger than 2 G. I did not know what ent wrong. I thought it may be a limitation of 10G r2. Then when I tried to uncompress a file, which can expand into size biger than 2 G (2.8 G actually), in such filesystem folder, the OS return a message "file cannot be larger than the value set by ulimit". Even I set unlimited for the file size to /etc/security/limits, it still won´t work. The same error when I pass a larger file to that filesystem. So I realize that it must be the cause of the jfs system, because m other AIX system has the same filesystem but setup with jfs2 type. Then I created a filesystems with jfs2 and it worked. So I appoligize to mislead. But certainly the problem is under the AIX 5.3L. But my other concern is a filesystem using file type larger than 2 G necessary for Oracle 10 g operation (apparently needed for installation if i want to create datafile larger than 2 G)? Hope this will make thing clear.

  • Netra X4270 .flash file needed for ilom recovery using preboot

According documentation to recover corrupted ilom the preboot> can be used to load Ilom image file directly via tftp.
Problem is that updating the SP firmware using the preboot menu requires a .flash file instead of the .pkg file used to update the SP from the ILOM.
And I cannot find it anywhere on oracle.com or anywhere else.

    Dear User,
you controlfile and the Systemtablespace (datafile) have different items concerning the SCN. It means, that the status quo of
Systemtablespace is not the same as the controlfile
Therefore the system needs a Media Recovery.
The system tells you, that it needs the specified archivelog File
    (C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\flash_recovery_area\ARCHIVELOG\u_a.ARC) for Media Recovery
(maybe a few Files more - the system will tell you later).
Make sure that this File exists and recover like orant575 wrote.
If you have define the destination of archivelog Files in your init.ora/spfile you can
    use return or auto
The system will apply the File.
If the system needs more Files for Recovery it will tell you.
If you use auto, the system will apply automatically all files it needs (if there exists otherwise you get ORA-).
If you use return, you have to approve with return (if there exists otherwise you get ORA-)
    or
    use the way orant575 wrote
When all needed operations applied the item (SCN) of controlfile and the Datafile will be the same, the system will answer
Media Recovery complete or something like that.
If the database is not in archivelog, you have to recover a consistent earlier reincarnation of the database.
    best of luck
