File not written to XI..

Hi,
I am preparing a Flat File to an XML File scenario. The developments and Configuration have been made in the Integration Repository and the Integration Diretory. The file is getting picked up but the File is not getting written in XI Directory.
When I check SXMB_MONI the status is green. There is no Error, but still there is no file written in the XI Directory.
Wnen running SXI_CACHE the CACHE is not refreshed and the Error is BUSINESS_SYSTEM Error. The "Start Delta Cache Refresh" and the "Start Complete Cache Refresh" is also disabled. We cannot refresh the Cache too.
Another thing while Performing SLDCHECK, we get the Remote Function Call as Green i.e. running but it says "COnnection to SLD is not Working" inspite of the fact that we have all the TCP/IP Connections up and Running.
It will be hugely beneficial to advice me on this. Expecting for a reply soon. Thanking in anticipation.
Thanks and Best Regards
Chakra and Somnath

Hi Chakra and Somnath,
>><i>When I check SXMB_MONI the status is green. There is no Error, but still there is no file written in the XI Directory.</i>
Are you able to see the inbound payload message in sxmb_moni?
>><i>Wnen running SXI_CACHE the CACHE is not refreshed and the Error is BUSINESS_SYSTEM Error. The "Start Delta Cache Refresh" and the "Start Complete Cache Refresh" is also disabled. We cannot refresh the Cache too.</i>
Please go through the following thread, the same issue has been discussed:

  • Enabling FileVault 2: "Boot file not written"

    I receive the mentioned error promptly after entering my passphrase. The terminal output is:
    Started CoreStorage operation on disk0s2 Mac HD

    Creating Core Storage Logical Volume Group
    A problem occurred; undoing all changes

    With the sparse information floating around the web, this problem seems to stem from the fact that I just installed a new Harddrive and cloned my old one with Carbon Copy Cloner.
    Are there any ideas on how to get my Harddrive FileVault ready?

    Here's what diskutil list gives me:

  • Can't turn on filevault. Error: "Boot File Not Written"

    I can't turn on filevault in lion 10.7. The error returned is simply: "boot file not written". There is no other diagnostic info - help!

    Open the Console application in your Utilities folder to examine log files.
    How large is your user account folder and how much free space is on the drive? Have you repaired the hard drive and permissions?
    Repairing the Hard Drive and Permissions
    Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger and Leopard.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer. Now shutdown the computer for a couple of minutes and then restart normally.
    If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior (4.0 for Tiger, and 4.1 for Leopard) and/or TechTool Pro (4.6.1 for Leopard) to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.

  • Can't sync file not written

    I bought a movie from itunes and when I synced my phone I got this error message of not being written. I think that is what it said. Unfortunately I unplugged the iphone and tried to sync it again and nothing happened. No pop up message and the movie is still not being downloaded onto my iphone. What can I do to rectify this, please help.

    You need to restore the pre-upgrade backup of the library file in the manner shown in  Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash.

  • Filevault failed: boot file not written

    Just installed Mtn Lion over a clean install of Lion (following a recently corrupted drive) and I cannot enable filevault. I keep getting the message shown below.
    I've tried booting from the recovery partition and repairing both the disk and permissions. Still have the same issue - any ideas?
    Thanks
    Dan.

    well there are as usual a few bugs
    most of the bugs i experience, except the one in question here. are very special like mail in an encrypted folder does not work anymore, that's basically why I have to turn on file vault which i was for good reason always reluctant to do before.
    i tried filevault several times before and sooner or later came across trouble which made me to opt for the sparsbundle option instead.
    however to be fair i must say that compared to earlier major system updates lion as well as mountain lion are running quite well, i'm for 22 years with apple now and believe me, i have seen much buggier updatetes than these last too but none as catastrophic as our friends using early windows versions :-)
    and if not for business reasons ( consulting ) i would always wait for version x.2 at least. i usually do the immediate update to be ready for my clients's inquiries which includes experiencing some trouble to have solutions at hand :-)
    so let's see what appel is coming up with, thanks for the reply and obviously we share the expectation, albeit with reluctance, to format the drive and having to re-install the whole machine after that which is so time consuming.
    best regards and the luck to share :-)

  • EP log type INFO not written to the portal.log file

    All the log.info (where log is of type PortalRuntime Logger) statements in my code are not written  to the portal.log file.
    I have configured the portal_logger to log ALL but it seems to log only the FATAL and WARNING messages and not the INFO ones.I am on EP6 SP2
    Thanks
    Sid

    Let me rephrase my question.
    In the portal logs configuration (Sys Adm - Monitoring - Logging Console - portal_logger ) if you select ALL, should it not log messages of all types ( ERROR WARNING INFO )? When I select ALL for the portal_logger the portal.log doesn't display the log messages of type INFO (only the once of type ERROR or WARNING).

  • File not found when trying to call a dll on LabVIEW Real Time machine

    I have a dll called "DLLRTTEST" that I've written, and have succesfully called on my host machine.  I'm now attempting to call this dll from a vi that is located on my real time computer.  Currently I get an "Error 7 occurred at Call Library Function Node in DLLRTTEST.vi." message upon execution
    In the attached screenshot I'm trying to ensure that the vi I'm running is in fact located on the real time system.  I then use a "Check if File or Folder Exists.vi" to confirm that the dll that I'm about to call does exist on the real time system as well.  However, I still receive an "error 7 file not found" error from the Call Library Function Node.
    Any help is appreciated.

    As nathand already mentioned, depending on your C toolchain your DLL will depend on other DLLs. Usually the according msvcrtXX.dll that matches your Visual C version, if you use Visual C, other runtime DLLs if you use a different C environment. These runtime DLLs are even necessary if you do not call anything in any of your functions, since the DLL makes various initialization steps when it gets loaded and that references some C runtime functions nevertheless. Compiling and linking the DLL with static C runtime is usually also not a clean solution since the linked in C runtime will then reference Windows APIs that are not available on LabVIEW RT.
    Depending on your version of LabVIEW RT you will have some mscvrtxx.dll files in your system directory but it will be an older one than from the latest Visual Studio version. If you can compile your DLL with that Visual Studio version then you should be fine, but could possibly run into new problems if you later upgrade to a newer LabVIEW RT version. Installing the C runtime distributables from newer Visual Studio versions is unfortunately also not a solution, since it references many (undocumented) Windows API functions that are not available in LabVIEW RT.

    Nothing really seemed to work when trying to solve this problem, just suddenly it stopped appearing. It might have been our installation of SPS 15, since it was around that time that the error went away.

    I have created a program which:
    opens a file
    reads the records and massages the records
    writes the records to a new file
    Launches a program that uses the resultant file.
    The program was written on Windows xp MCE using Visual Studio 10. The resulting program works fine.
    I places The executable and the input file onto a flashdrive, and then tested it on other machines.
    Two of the machines are both Win 7 Pro 64bit with .Net 4. On one machine it works great. On the other I get a "File not found" error when starting the second process. This is the failing code:
    The problem is with the Shell command. When I rewrite it as:
    it works on both machines
    So my question is: Why does exactly the same code (The same flashdrive was used on both machines) work on one machine and not the other (when both machenes appear to be at the same level)?
    In both cases I verify the file exists in the correct place before I try to start it.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance
       John

    The use of F is just an example. I use:
    OutputPath = My.Application.Info.DirectoryPath 'Where app is run from (root)
        'Make sure the path ends in \
        If VB.Right(OutputPath, 1) <> "\" Then
          OutputPath = OutputPath & "\"
        End If
    to get the correct information.
    Then
      PTRName = OutputPath & "myprogram.exe"
    BTW "myprogram.exe" is not the correct name it is just an example.
    Sorry if this caused confusion
    However all of this is not the point. If:
     My.Computer.FileSystem.FileExists(PTRName)
    is true then the file is in the right place. Therefore:
    Retval = Shell(PTRName,4)
    must also work. However it does not on some machines.
    Is the problem in .Net, VB or VS because it is not in my code.
    I have also used a routine similar to you (in VB6) to find a particular volume, but used the volume label. That worked better in my case.

  • Disc Burner. Why are some files not readable or writeable?

    Hello,
    I am trying to backup my friends computer files on a beige G3 (233 MHz). I am burning about 6 DVDs of AIF music files. Most of the files are about 30 - 40 Megs in size. Often I receive error messages on particular files that read:
    "The operation cannot be completed because some data cannot be read or written.
    (Error code - 36)"
    Followed by the choices: "Stop" or "Continue".
    I have a bad feeling that my startup disk is too small but I am not sure.
    Most of the files work fine. However some of the files cause disc burner to not be able to use them in the disc image before I burn. Why would this be?
    Here are the specifications:
    Computer: beige G3 with two hard drives (one SCSI and one ATA hard drive) and a Pioneer DVR-110D DVD writer which is Apple supported (Apple system profiler indicates Apple supported on this DVD writer). My blank DVD disks are Sony Vermatim DVD-R (1 - 16x speed support). Although I think my beige G3 only writes them at about 2 or 4x.
    I am using OS 10.1.5. My startup disk which has OS 10.1.5 in it is a 4 GIG SCSI disk. Is this big enough for a startup disk (for creating 4.5 GIG DVDs)? My files are on the second hard drive which is a 40 GIG ATA disk.
    I have a bad feeling that my OSX startup drive is too small for disk burning - it is only 4 GIGs in total and OSX Disc burner (Disc copy) is first making a disk image on my startup volume before it burns it. Perhaps that disk image is too large for the startup volume. Is there any way I could ask OSX to put this disk image on the second larger hard drive instead (not the startup drive?).
    Here is my process (I hope I am doing this right - I am new at this):
    1. I first insert a blank DVD-R
    2. A message pops up asking my if I would like to create a blank disc image for this disk (I think this is the typical Disk Copy utility window. I say "yes" and give it a name and choose the "DVD-R or DVD-RAM" option. (I am not sure if there are other important settings to choose here or better settings to use but I guessed the other options that seemed obvious. A blank disk image is created with an icon that looks like a DVD disk.
    3. Then I drag my chosen files to this blank disc image. It takes about 30 minutes to copy over. Thats when I receive the error message that some files couldn't be "read or written". The other files work fine but it would be nice if they all worked.
    Why would some files not be readable or writeable?
    4. Then I choose file/burn in the top menu and the DVD is created. This takes another 20 - 30 minutes. At the very end of the process another message pops up saying:
    "Sorry the operation could not be completed because an unexpected error occured (error code -28)" Followed by an "OK" button.
    However all the files that made it onto the final DVD are fine - its just that its not all of the ones I originally chose in the first step when dragging to create the disk image.
    Am I doing this the right way?
    Why are some files not "readable or writeable" as it indicates in the error message?
    Is my 4 GIG startup disk too small for this? or are the music files possibly corrupt? or could there be some other possible problem?
    Thanks

    To follow up, I have some good news. After following your advice Kappy, it now works very well Thanks! Instead of using the 4 GIG volume for the OS, I am now using an 8 GIG partition on an 80 GIG drive. So now the OS has some room to operate. No disk errors occured on my first DVD
    Now there was one problem. The second DVD burned gave me an error. I am not sure why but I am going to guess that because I had to installed the OS onto an 8 GIG partition maybe the OS needs to be rebooted in between disk burns because although 8 GIGs is certainly greater than the 4 GIGs I gave it last time, it still isn't a lot of space - maybe just enough to do one DVD at a time. Thats only a guess. So I rebooted to see if that clears the system out ready for the next DVD and I am trying to burn the second DVD again. If I remember I will report back. In any case, yes, this seems to be working. I hope this second DVD burns well too.
    Thanks Kappy

  • File not getting deleted using File.delete()

    Hi guys,
    I have a code like this:
    File tempdir = new File("tempdir");
    tempdir.mkdir();
    File temporaryFile = new File("tempdir\tempfile.txt");
    FileWriter writer = new FileWriter(temporaryFile);
    // write data into file
    writer.flush();
    writer.close();
    try {
        // Do something
    catch (Exception e) {
        // Do something
    temporaryFile.delete();
    tempdir.delete();The program runs successfully. The directory and the file is created and data is written successfully into it. However, the file as well as directory is not getting deleted at the end of the program. I tried temporaryFile.deleteOnExit(), but this also didn't help.
    Can anyone provide some input as to what can be the possible reasons for the file not getting deleted?
    Thanks..

    I want the file to be created inside the directory I specified. Hence, I put the "\". Please let me know if there is some other way to achieve this. This way I am getting the file created at the location I want.
    One more interesting thing which I noticed. Actually this code is part of a JUnit test. In the same JUnit, I am creating new files in atleast 2-3 test methods. But the deletion of files is really random. Sometimes, 2 out of 3 get deleted, sometimes only 1 gets deleted. However, I didn't come through a single instance wherein all the 3 files got deleted. :-(
    Also, the directory is never deleted. However, I got the reason behind this. As per the File API, the directory will not be deleted if it is not empty.

  • Boot.properties file not fetching by weblogic server 10.3.6.0

    Hi Team,
    I have Installaed weblogic Server 10.3.6.0 and Forms and Reports 11.1.2.2.0. Even though the boot.properties with weblogic credentials is located in Weblogic Domain under security folder, the weblogic server is asking username and password while starting the services.
    Environment : Windows Server 2008 R2- 64 bit
    Please suggesst what would be the root cause of this issue.
    Many thanks in advance!
    Kind Regards,
    Mohan

  • Sender file communication channel polling only when the file is written

    Hi guys,
    I have the following scenario:
    I have developed an XI interface that takes a .txt file from SAP R/3's file system, usr/sap/trans/ and delivers it into another ftp location. The problem that we face is that the file is written into source directory from an ABAP program. As a result, XI go and polls into source directory when the file is not completely written, or when it is empty, which blocks the process.
    Is there a way to force XI in order to poll the source directory only when the file is complete?
    We have thought of exporting the file into a name that XI does not expect and as soon as the file is complete to rename the file from inside ABAP program into what XI expects.
    However, the command inside ABAP changed the Code page of the file and we cannot see some special characters in the file that is delivered to the ftp location.
    Any ideas??

  • File not getting posted at target directory

    Hi all,
    I am crearting a simple bypass scenario in which no mapping is involved. I simply have to pick up a file with particular naming convention from the FTP location and write it to other location at the target side with some different naming convention.
    The file is getting picked up from the FTP location but is not written at the target location?
    Can you please suggest me what could be the reason?
    Is there something to do with adapter specific parameters?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sachi

    is message success in SXMB_MONI ?
    is receiver adapter resulted in error ..then check the logs and post the same if any error there....
