File saved on 2014 trial version, cant open it in older muse cc

Hi! does anyone know how can i open a file that i saved on muse cc 2014, in the old version, muse cc? I scrued it and saved in the trial version and now that it expired i cant open it or access all of my work!!

I am really sorry to inform you that Muse does not offer Backward compatibility, And once your site is saved in the newer version you wont be able to open it in the older version.

Hey I am working on an update project bringing some PM5 files up to InDesign. I have InDesign CS (ID3.0) and I used the trial version on PM7 to convert the PM5 files to PMD (I also tried P65) but they don't want to open in InDesign CS. It says there may be a plugin missing or the file may not be compatible. Is this related to the fact that I saved them using a trial version or what else should I try? I have a 6.5 license, but it won't run on Windows 7. I would upgrade if I knew that would solve the problem. I have no other use for Pagemaker other than to port these files to InDesign.

Have you tried running PM in an earlier Windows version, using Windows 7's compatibility mode?

Evidently Solidworks changed the output of their files to a format that AI cannot interpret. Just backsave in Solidworks to the required version.

Cannot uninstall InDesign CC 2014 trial version

I installed the InDesign CC 2014 trial version and now I cannot remove it from my computer. I go to Control Panel/Uninstall Programs and I cannot find it in the list. I looked in the installation folder of the program for some file that allows me to uninstall it and nothing. When I Installed InDesign I also installed the Adobe Creative Cloud which I could remove without any problem but I am stuck with the InDesign. If anybody can give me a solution...thank you!

Files you save don't disappear, even if you no longer have the software that created them. They're right where you saved them.

Captivate 8 trial version wont open

I am trying to open Captivate 8 after downloading a trial version but it won't open. Any ideas?

This is how I fixed it with instructions I received from ajit:

Please find the steps of download and installation of Captivate 8 ( 64 bit ) :- Open the link mention below in any Web Browser say Internet Explorer https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=captivate Sign in with your Adobe id and Password, then you will be redirected to download Web Page of Captivate 8. Do not click on Download. Kindly let that window open as it is. Now Copy and paste the link mention below in the new tab/window of the same Web Browser in which you have opened the above link. http://trials3.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/CPTV/8/win64/Captivate_8_x64_LS21.7z Then Save the file. Do the same for the link mention below and save this .exe file as well. http://trials3.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/CPTV/8/win64/Captivate_8_x64_LS21.exe Make sure both the files (.7z and .exe) save/download at the same location/folder. NOTE: Wait for both the files to finish download and then run the .exe file. i found the error!
little snitch on os x blocks something (i dont know what exact) of adobe in the background. i have no rule defined for adobe in little snitch, so everything of adobe can go out.
when i stop little snitch, everything works fine - photoshop opens videos without the medialink error, photoshop starts up in seconds and premiere starts without a quicktime error.
i report the problem also to objective developement to fix this!

Thanks for your suggestions. I checked to see if the options you suggested were set incorrectly but they were set to sync all. This led me to think the problem was actually in the iphone. I re-initialized the iphone and did not allow the system to restore any of the previous settings. In essence, I forced the phone to reset to factory settings. Then my video podcasts started syncing. All is well now. I did notice that I had seven podcasts selected that were "HD" presentations, and as such, are not compatible with the iphone. I don't know if this had anything to do with my earlier situation, but now I'm getting the video podcasts automatically. I'm happy. It wasn't much fun forcing the iphone to forget all of my preferences and I'm still customizing the phone now several days later. I think I have everything working and back to normal except I haven't identified any of my email accounts as of yet. Thanks for your help.

Cannot open CC, indd files saved in an earlier versions in CS6

When attempting to open CC files inside of version CS6 that have been saved by students in version CS4 and later, I get the following message" Cannot open "fileName.indd" because it was saved with a newer version of Adobe InDesign (CS7.0) You must use tht version or later to open the file... How can I open these files? I also get plugin messages.

That's weird. But I guess they didn't properly Exported the file into an .idml file. Save As is different from File -> Export to idml
If your student did just File -> Save As, thinking that Save As works just like MS Word that saving it will work with backward compatibility to a lower version of InDesign then probably it won't work.
However, just ask them to Re-Export the file to .idml and see if you can open it in your InDesign CS6.

Can't able to open CP (ver 5) file in Captivate 7(trial version)

I have .cp files, I think those files are from Adobe Captivate 5.0 or 5.5 version. I downloaded trial version of Adobe Captivate but those files are not opening in 7. Is there any way I can able to open.
While opening .cp file, its giving error like below screen. Can anyone able to guide to open file in captivate 7?? or any converter avaialble?
also, I seen some forums where it says there may be hidden file but I didn't get it.

Only way is to try to get somewhere a copy of 5.5, as an intermediary step. And even then, converting a cp to cptx will need a lot more work. The remake was very drastic, text may shift or change fonts, you have to be sure that everything was AS3 (because CP4 still allowed AS2), question slides, animations will almost certainly cause problems. I really don't know about another way, sorry. After all we are talking about a time lag of more than 4 years, 4 versions (5, 5.5, 6, 6.1) have come and gone since, which is very long in software land

FLV File support in PE7 Trial Version?

I just downloaded and installed PE7 Trial version. My main interest in this version was to be able to edit .FLV video files. I've noticed in some reviews PE7 is able to upload .FLV files to Youtube. Well the trial version doesn't appear to suport .FLV files for editing. The trial version install procedure mentions that not all features of PE7 are included in this install. My question is does the full PE7 version support editing .FLV files?

You can not import and edit FLV files in PE7, it will only export to FLV. It can import and edit SWF files. If you want to edit FLV files you will need to convert them to another format, ideally DV-AVI. You could do an internet search for a free converter (there are a few) or purchase one.

Saving problem with trial version

I have a trial version. How can I save a file as an mp3 file. I only seem to be able to save as an sesx file. I cannot "save selection as." Does the trial version not allow me to do this?

Aside from the documentation that is accessible in the Help menu, there's several resources that are starting to pop up. I found a bunch just searching for "Audition CS5.5 tutorial" on YouTube. There's also some videos that are being made on tv.adobe.com. You can find "Audition" under the Products menu.
