File to File: Check result for service | BS_FLATFILE_RECEIVER

Hi,
Flat file to flat file scenario shows the following error.
Check result for service | BS_FlatFile_Receiver
Logical system RD1CLNT001 already exists in service | BS_FlatFile_Sender
Can any one please help me to resolve the issue.

this problem has occured due to ur service compnent is locked
to unlock this follow these steps :
1)go to SXMB_IFR
2)there in the page click on second tab named administration
in the next scrren click on the tab repository and there click on the lock overview under text Administration of Locks and Caches
there you can unlock this BS_FLATFILE_RECEIVER service
3) Also do the same step for directory tag also and unlock the component if locked there also.
your service will be unlocked and your scenario will be successful

Actual data is not populated in Budget Fund Check Results for Project Budge

Dear All,
Please help me with the following issue:
1) Create Project Budget integrated to GL Budget (Top Down Integration for encumbrance).
2) Enter Time Sheets through pre-approved batches (we are aware fund check will happen only for Requisition, PO & Supplier Invoices and not for other transactions).
3) Now Actual Cost is updated for the time sheet entered in point number (2) in Expenditure Inquiry & PSI.
4) But the same Actual Cost is not updated in Budget Fund Check Results window (hence funds available is not updated). Navagation: Projects implementation Super User Responsibility
Budget> History> Tools >View Fund Check Results
Please provide us solution why Actual Cost is not updated at Fund check Results window because of this there is a huge impact on funds available.

File adapter validate file checking directory for files

Hi Gurus,
We have requirement. There are 3 directories (Processing, Error and Archive)in the Source side.SAP PI need to pick up a file called "abc.txt" from the processing tab.
But there is a condition.
1. If "abc.txt" file exists in the "Error" directory then Not process the interface.
2. If there is no "abc.txt" file in the "Error" directory then validate the file "abc.txt" in the "Processing" directory. If the file is not according to the validation rule then move the "abc.txt" file to the "Error" directory and then stop the processing.
3. if the above two conditions are ok then move the "abc.txt" file to "archive" directory and send the file to PI.
Please help me to achive this requirement.

Isses with keeping a file checked out

I'm currently working with Project 2010 pro in a server environment. One of my team members continues to keep files checked out for long periods of time (multiple days) without checking them back in. I was wondering what, if any, issues
arise from keeping a file checked out for an extended period of time.

Providing you with a comprehensive list of potential problems is probably impossible. But following are a few issues to consider:
There is a risk of changes that are not published will not be backed up in a nightly backup.
Issues with your corporate LAN could cause the project to get "stuck" in Checked Out mode.
Issues with your corporate LAN could cause the project to get corrupted or to generate strange errors in the Queue.
When a project is kept checked out for days on end, no one else can edit the project.
If your organization wants to apply Service Packs or Cumulative Updates, usually all projects need to be checked in before this happens.
Personally speaking, I think you would be wise to give a few reasons to your executives, such as what I have mentioned, but then tell them that the "experts" in the user forum DO NOT recommend that PMs leave projects checked out over night. Hope this

Per SAP Note 0000634395, activation of Free Goods Check box for services in not possible.
Though there is an option to make the services unaccountable, by marking the service as contingency item in the service details from the services tab.
The subitem total is the aggregate of the subitem net values. This subitem total excludes subitems marked as contingency or alternate lines.

ORA-00205: error in identifying control file, check alert log for more

I am trying to upgrade database software from 11.2.0.1 to 11.2.0.2 and followed the steps given in the Doc ID 1276368.1 in linux 86 OS environment . I am in step 9 where i need to start up the database in startup upgrade mode. I get the the following error. Please help. This out of box upgrade is quite tricky and my database is stigged version. Not able to trouble shoot further, Please help me to go forward.

I just installed latest foxfire on windows xp. Found some instructions but they called for using keys my computer doesn't have ( key in OSX There is no file, edit , history, help, tools, navigation, all the things your directions say to use. Also I always get hung up and the message a scrip is running. I don't know what thises scrips are but I sure don't need them.

J2Se receiver File adapter-HTTP 503 no listener registered for service

Hi,
We are using J2Se file adapter for one the interfaces and the logs of the J2se adapter engine has shown the following error-
Error: com.sap.aii.messaging.net.TransportException: HTTP 503 no listener registered for service /file/example_outbound
 at com.sap.aii.messaging.net.HTTPRequest.run(ServerHttpImpl.java:416)
I checked with the J2SE File/FTP receiver adapter configuration given at help.sap and found the following the following info related to the error-
Specifications for addressing by the Integration Engine
○ XI.httpPort=<port_no>
<port_no>specifies the HTTP server port that receives the messages from the Integration Engine.
○ XI.httpService=<service>
<service> describes the service part of the address where the Integration Engine must send its messages.
These specifications are mandatory.
If, for example, you have specified XI.httpPort=1234 and XI.httpService=/file/Receiver, the end point address of the file/FTP adapter in the Integration Engine must be specified as follows:
http://<fileadapterhost>:1234/file/Receiver
The end point address must be extended as follows for the Integration Engine in Release 1.0:
http://<fileadapterhost>:1234/file/Receiver?action=execute&pipelineid=Receiver
If the Integration Engine message is sent to a non-specified adapter service, the system displays the following error message:
*No registered listener for <Service> found*
The system displays the same message if the adapter is initialized, but has not been started (status STOPPED or INITIALIZED).
Where I need to check this Integration engine address specifications. I have't found any of the above code in the adapter configuration which we are using presently.The interface is running successfully before but thrown this error now.
Please reply me if some one has faced similar issue and get it resolved.

How was this issue resolved? I have the same problem.
I only have two receivers - the deafult j2se file receiver and my newly created one which used the default as a template. The ports and service's are different.
I've even tried deleting my custom receive adapter and using only the default one but i still get that error.

Post install checks failed for DBC file - Oracle App11.5.10.2 Linux 5.3

I tried Installing Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10.2 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.3
The Post install checks failed for DBC file, HTTP, JSP and PHP. Apparently the DBC hadn’t been created. I had verified the log file, while executing adgendbc.sh, it throwing below error.

Fix typo in error string for situations where there are advanced messaging configuration settings from LCDS used in the configuration files but no AdvancedMessagingSupport service. The error string said that there was no flex.messaging.services.AdvancedMessagingService registered but it is the flex.messaging.services.AdvancedMessagingSupport service that needs to be registered.
Add configuration test that starts the server with a destination that has the reliable property set which is an advanced messaging feature but there is no AdvancedMessagingSupport service registered.

Hi,
Unfortunately I already tried all kinds of re-installs (the full list is in my original message). The only one remaining is the reinstall of Windows 8 itself, which I would really like to avoid.
What I find really strange is the time it takes for the above error message to appear. It's like one hour or even more (never measured exactly, I left the computer running).
What kind of a timeout is that? I would expect that, if ports are really used by some other application, I get the message in less than a minute (seconds, actually). To me this looks like the emulator itself for some reason believes there's a problem with
some port while in reality there isn't.
I'll eventually contact Microsoft Support, thanks for the suggestion.
