File transfer Gmail HELP! FILES WONT GO THROUGH!

My friend and I just started using iChat and we both use google talk. She is still using Snow Leopard and I'm using Lions.
For some reason she can send files through google talk and I can recieve them, but I can't send files back.
Is this because of the OS difference or is it just something wrong with google talk?
HELP I WANT TO BE ABLE TO SEND FILES!

Can you open a new blank project, and save it?
If you cannot import your faulty project into a new project, can you import the sequence from your faulty project?
Have you tried clearing the Media Cache, clearing your preferences, etc. - all among the techniques used to resurrect a Premiere Pro project that has gone bad???

p.s. there's one more thing he can try. if he has a working swf, he can trying decompiling it to get a working fla or, even if that fails, he will be able to get a non-corrupt fla whose assets can be extracted.

How to transfer input file into XI through sender file adapter

I am quite new to XI. Want to know how I can transfer a file into XI through sender file adapter. I dont have any input file, so I have to create a sample input file and I want to transfer that into XI. Can you please advise me of the steps involved in that. I have finished work in design and directory, now I want to push file the sample file into XI. The receiver adapter is an IDoc adapter. And also a very trivial question. How I can place my sample file into my source directory. Thanks

Hi Rajiv,
If your transport protocol is NFS then you need to put the file in the XI server. Because it becomes the Network File System. For that you can just type the ip address of the XI server in the "run" command or in the browser with "
" then in any of the Folders you can paste your file. But ensure that this is the path you give in your Sender File Adapter.
If your transport protocol is FTP then you need to see that ftp is running in your system. for that go to Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Add/Remove Components. In that check the IIS server and go to details and see that ftp is also checked. Now ftp is running in your system.
Now open your C:> drive >InetPub>ftproot . and create a folder here and paste your file. In the configuration of your File sender adapter just mention the name of the folder.
For your information, you can create a file with xml tags and namespace and message type manually (or) you can directly get it from the test tab of message mapping and generate source code.

Problem with opening various text files in notepad through java

Hi friends,
I need to open any .txt file in notepad by running the code in Java.I could open the notepad through java but not a perticular file.I dont even want to hard code my program that only one perticular file will open through it.I want it generalised...if anyone could help me,it would be really nice...

If your program opens notepad I'll delete it because I set UltraEdit as my default editor. So if you already must use system-specific code, how about grabbing a Windows manual to find out how to use the editor registered for these files? (Hint "start").

Final Cut Crashed and then corrupted the file. So Final cut wouldn't open up. I tried reloading the backup, trashing the prefs file, systematically going through the 3 previous versions and opening them by themselves one by one to no avail.

I found Final Cut now loads but each of the backups and files in the previous 3 versions won't load. I've worked on the project for 3 weeks. Im suprised the backup files won't load either!?! I've only rendered 1 low res version. I am thinking I will have to rebuild the project in Final Cut 7. That is simply too risky to have all my back ups not load up!!

Final cut now opens if launch older projects. But if I actually click on the project it crashes. Im not sure what you mean by events? I've moved them from the events folder.

I am sorry but am not able to understand your requirements completely.
If you are using BSP then how come infopackage comes in picture?
As through a BSP application you can load the data with the help of fundtion modules. In your case first load the data from file to internal table through function GUI_UPLOAD and then from internal table to ODS through function module RSDRI_ODSO_MODIFY.
Do not forget to assign points if this helps

Files wont copy from Server via AFP to local Drive

Hi All,
I'm having trouble copying iMovie project files from an xServe to a local drive. I'm running Mac OS X 10.4.9, and what happenes is when I open the mount and find the file, I drag it accross the the users home folder-> movies folder and copy it. Problem is the source file is 3.14 gigs, and when it copys it copys a file thats 997KB is size, everytime and says its done sucsessfully. Obviously the file wont open.
Can anyone Help?

I guess your having some permisssions lingo. iMovie projects are folders that are presented by the Finder as if it were files.

for a windown server u can use VNC (virtual network connection) which opens a session on u r desktop later u can drag and drop form there vice versa and for a linux box you can use Win SCP which helps to open a session with interface to u r desktop in both cases you can upload and down load files very easiy just as we drag and drop items in a simple pc .. we use the same technique...

but does not change the remote file i.e.Index.htm, or three stages1.htm.
My Localroot folder is C:\Gods Plan Web\
The site map layout is C:\Gods Plan Web\Index.htm
The folder for the remote site is /public_html/
Should the local root folder mirror the remote site, i.e./public_html/
if this is so, what should I put into the
(a) Local Root Folder box?
(b) site map layout box?
The FTP is performing well other than changing the intended file.

You should be uploading only the contents of your local root to the public_html folder (remote root).
The index.html you use as your site's home page needs to be in your site root. If you look at your Files window in DW, you should have something like the following...
Site - Whatever you named your site
     index.html
     images
     pages
          page1.html
          page2.html
If you have any folder between Site - and the index.html page, like...
Site - Whatever you named your site
     mywebsite
          index.html
It will upload to the public_html while still in that folder, so to find your page online, you would need to type something like...
www.mydomain.com/mywebsite
public_html should NOT appear within your local files and if it existed there, would cause a redundancy if uploaded. You would need to type www.yourdomain.com/public_html to see the uploaded pages.
If you could post a screen shot of your expanded Files window while connected to the server (just connect and click the Expand button in Files, don't drill down into any of the directories), we may be able to see the issue.

On Windows (don't know about Mac), the latest version will always take over the file association, and become the default for indd files. It's impossible to change it.
But there is a plugin for ID that makes this possible. Never tried it myself.

all the methods in the processFormRequest() are called during any action events on the page.
So Use the method in processFormRequest() : write a method in
that on which action you want to delete the file.

I suggest that you try to use Tiny Umbrella to kick your device out of recovery
