File uploading file through RFC

Hi All ,
I am trying to upload file using FM GUI_Upload ,its working fine when i run in sap , But throws a Dump if the file path is passed from .net . The same file path when i pass it in sap directly it works fine .
the error :
OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED in FM DP_CONTROL_ASSIGN_TABLE
Any Help will be great .

We are trying to download/upload file through rfc function called by java(JCO),In the rfc function,we use WS_DOWNLOAD,but it does not work.

Hi gw,
This question looks a little confusing to me.
WS_DOWNLOAD is used to download files from SAP to the presentation server (your PC). It will not work through RFC.
BUT, also if you want to access a function module via RFC is must be RFC enabled (as Anand pointed out).
AND WS_DOWNLOAD uses a PUSH approach. It pushes a file to the PC from ABAP. So even if the two points above weren't a problem it still would not be suitable for what you are doing.
Perhaps you could explain a little what you are trying to achieve.

File to RFC, and through RFC response i am trying to trigger the Mail adapt

Hi All,
Right now i am doing File to RFC, its working fine but now the requirement is when xi connect to ftp and picks the file need to send one success mail after the file pickup and data sent to BW system again i need to send one mail and also error alerts to inbox.
Till now i am not using BPM, can we do this without BPM pls let me know
now i am trying to achieve this in File to RFC, and through RFC response i am trying to trigger the Mail adapter.
or else i need use only BPM pls share the steps which i need to be configure.
Am i correct or pls suggest me some idea to achive this and also pls share some smaple ones in BPM .

I can't seem to upload PDF files through Firefox 5.0

I have not been able to upload a PDF file through Firefox 5.0. This has occurred with two different websites. It appears from the error messages that the file is not being identified as a PDF file, but is labelled something else. DOCX files are uploaded appropriately, but I must use PDF also. Thanks.

I've been using DW CS4 since Dec. 2010 to design and upload the store site with no problems until this past week.
I update the site once a month, during the last couple of weeks I've used DW to design 2 new pages, but this past week when I went to upload the pages I noticed the remote view was different. The remote view did show the 2 new files, including pictures, but not all the other files that I normally see, including the index file.
Plus, there are folders I didn't see before, CGI, DropBox and about 6 others.
On the 2nd pg. of the main site, I put a link to past editions, the URL looks like this... http://www.landmarkantiques.com/July2011.html
I can't think of anything I might have done to cause the change, so I'm at a loss as to why and what might have caused it.
I have DW CS5 that I have not installed, and I'm a little worried about making that transition since this has happened.

Hey,
I have a website for a sign business and I'm trying to make
it so people can upload custom artwork. I am using an ASP Formmail
script from I think it's www.brainjar.com. If I understood
correctly from the directions, I can't upload files through that
script and I tried it once and it did not work. If anyone has any

Problem while uploading text file through portal into WebDAV repository .

Hi all...
I am not able to upload any file through portal onto my webDav repository for remote server however reverse is possible i.e. any document created at remote server is reflected in portal.
Everytime when i try to upload file though portal , i get the following error::
The item could not be created because an exception occurred in the framework.
Kindly suggest what to do....

Have you specified any user information in the webdav repository....Like always connect through this user, in the webdav repsository tab....This user may not have write permission in the windows.
Also are you sure that the user you logged in portal by which you failed to create new files or folders and the user that was able to create file in the windows are one and the same.....

How do I allow users to upload personal files through our website?
I am trying to allow the visitors the ability to upload images for a future contest we will be hosting. I am trying to build a submit form with personal fields (already got this done) along with a field they can upload 1 or 2 images. I want the form to send me an email with details along with image files. I have a BC webbasic+ account and I am using Muse for my web editing.
Can someone point me in the right direction?

Hi,
You could apply a "file attachment" field within the web form. If needing more than 1 file attachment you'll need to access your form code and hard-code the additional field.
The form will collect the file(s) and will be held within the case details under "related files". You can also assign a workflow to recieve notifications however only 1 file will appear in each email. To see the other files you'll need to access your order details.

i found the exception posted in my first post is shown after i close the file upload dialog manually which hangs for a long time(more than 5 minutes).
so, yes, you're right , the 'broken pipe' exception means the browser drop the file (since i close it manually)
during the browser hang ,i don't see any exception in weblogic.
we use SSO, is the browser occasionally hang related with SSO?

Can NMH410 be used as an external HDD without internet?
Is there anywhere I can upload files through the web browser?

Yes - The NMH is a local network device, and you can store/retrieve files on it using the computers on your home network using either Windows Explorer, or connecting to it in Linux/MacOS as a Samba share.
However: The NMH requires an Internet connection to dowload firmware updates, and - If my experiences today are anything to go on - You'll need to have up to date Flash support in your web browser to be able to configure and administrate the thing.

Yes - The NMH does support uploading via a web browser as long as the latter has a recent Flash plugin installed. For small numbers of files, this should work fine...But for larger numbers of files, I'd suggest using either Windows Explorer, or the Media Importer program that came on the enclosed CD-ROM. :-)

Is it possible to upload large files through FTP to server with iWeb like for example with Cyberduck?
I don't need to publish website with files, I just need to upload files on server. Can it be done somehow with iWeb?

Make sure you are allowed to store files on your server. Most hosting services don't allow anything to be stored that can't be accessed via the internet. Check the fine print!

i'm using Apache Jakarta HTTPClient to create a new HTTP connection to the webserver and sending a new POST request, which holds the image file. (So it's RFC1867 conform)
there is also an open source implementation of such an applet on sourceforge. it's also called JUpload, but i think it's not maintained any more.

File-to-file or File-to-RFC for Automatic PO creation and GR creation

We are on XI 3.0 and the following has been put to me:
We will receive a .CSV file from FTP server, into XI and then need to create Purchase Orders followed by the Goods Receipt documents in R/3 based on the incoming data.
Further to this, the requirement is to give a log of the successfule and failed PO + GR document summary to the business.
The programme in R/3 will compare the incoming file nmame with archived files already processed and will reject any files with duplicate names.
I was suggesting to go with the file to RFC in R/3 whereby we can have a Z shell BAPI to include the standard BAPI for PO creation and GR creation. This Z code can then be extended to email the log to the business of which records were successfully created and which failed.
However, I am stumped as to how can I make the file duplication comparison on R/3 as the incoming file will also be stored on R/3 archive somewhere.
Can this be made when the BAPI is called in XI?
I can configure alerts when the BAPI is mapped from incoming file for that interface.
What was suggested also was to pick up the CSV file and thow it as it is in R/3 and then the Z code can go through it and create the PO and GR objects. However, then it does not make much sense to use XI as the middleware platform.
Please advice.

i m working on File to RFC scenario. the records are getting displayed in sender CC and receiver CC. But in receiver CC i m also getting the following error:

Issue in File to RFC to File Scenario with BPM using Block Step

Hi Everybody,
                       I am doing File to RFC to File Scenario for multiple records using BPM using Block Step. The File Message is getting posted and after that, the message is getting stuck up in the qRFC Monitor (Inbound Queue).
                    After seeing the message in Inbound Queue, I am trying to execute and release the message. But when i execute the LUW, it says " Function module doesnt exist or EXCEPTION raised" in Inbound queue.
Could somebody suggest me the outcome of this? What does this mean and how to
release the stuck up message in Queue.

Problem in file to RFC Asynch interface.

Dear Experts,
One interface is there in Production environment that " file to RFC " receiver is SAP CRM system through BAPIs. frequency is daily one file from ftp to CRM system. One day file is getting updated in CRM properly, one day not getting updated like this way it is happening regularly. In sxmb_moni of PI system showing successfully processed. In sxmb_moni of CRM system no messages appearing whether successfully processed messages as well as failures. RFC connections also be good and in PI communication channel monitoring also showing successful.
In this case what i have to do? Kindly suggest me.
