FileDialog.SAVE: trap the "Save" button click event

Hello All
Can anyone help me with FileDialog.SAVE, as to how we could trap the Save button click event? Is it possible to actually trap that particular event, rather than just checking for FileDialog.getFile() == null -> which indicates that "Cancel" button was selected.
Any help would be highly appreciated

You can not do this, because FileDialog uses native dialog and all
buttons on it are native (there are no java-components for them).
Thus checking FileDialof.getFile() for null is only way to figure out
whether user choose some file or not.

Capturing navigation button click event

Hi,
Is it possible to capture the navigation button click events on a system form?For example when the goods receipt form is open and i click on navigation button on the tool bar.

How do you fire a button click event on apex page from fancybox iframe that was created by page

I am trying to fire off the button click event from fancybox iframe. The apex page has a button that launches a fancybox iframe which is loaded with an APEX form. On close of that fancy box, I am trying to fire a click event on the parent page which will refresh a div with html that is created with plsql. The button on the page works as expected when clicked from the page. It will show a debug alert message to prove it was called and then load the div with the correct data. I am unable to fire off this button click from the fancybox iframe when it closes.
A couple of points:
I using Plug-in: Execute PL/SQL Code and Return Content ("PLUGIN_MULEDEV.SERVER_REGION_REFRESH") to place the create fancybox statement. It is used to populate a div using plsql.
The name of the button on the main page is P2020_REFRESH_SECTION_BUILDER_BTN.
The click dynamic action on the button is calling the plugin to replace the html in the div.
The data in the form in the fancybox is being saved to the database. On close of the fancybox box I want to refresh the div so the new record is included in the div html.
Can anyone help. Here is the fancybox code:

If you have an instance of SPListItem, and know the workflow association name, you can start it. First you need to find workflow assocation instance and tell SPSite.SPWorkflowManager to start your workflow.

How to trap the document window activate event?

Hi All,
I am working with a plugin development application. My requirement is, at any time I may have more than one document opened. The plugin window what I have designed gets populated with data from the xml file attached with the current document. Therefore whenever I switch between the document window, I need the plugin window to be refreshed so that it will load/display the contents from the current xml file.
For this I need to trap the activate document window event. So whenever a window is selected from the current list of opened windows, then the plugin should get refreshed automatically.
Actually, I tried inheriting the CWindowEH class and I used the kDocWindowBoss class for the same. But the event is not firing as expected. Help/tips from anyone could be appreciated.

Hi, I don't think having observers on kDocBoss and kDocumentListBoss should be a problem. We do exactly that. Just running with a couple of break points in your code, do you hit the DocListObserver::AutoAttach and not the Update(). If you don't hit the AutoAttach breakpoint then it's probably the resource is not set up right. Ours is like this.. /** Observes document list actions. */ AddIn { kDocumentListBoss, kInvalidClass, { IID_IMYDOCLISTOBSERVER, kMyDocListObserverImpl, } }, If you're getting to the AutoAttach but not the Update then it may be that you're not specifying what notifications you wish to receive. If I go through the setup that you suggested, won't I screw up the existing software on my system?
No. The iTunes installer will first uninstall the existing version of iTunes and then put in the new one. (That's actually also what happens when you use Apple Software Update to install a new version ... it just doesn't show the uninstall phase like the iTunes64Setup.exe or iTunesSetup.exe does.)

Using Safari 5.1.7, I found a book on a web site that is free and downloadable, but when I click Save As, the Save button is grayed out.

Today (1/11/13) I found an online book, a .pdf file ( a math book from the Univ. of MI) that is advertised as free and downloadable. However, when in Safari I click on File/Save As, the window that opens has the Save button grayed out. The window opens with "Export as ..., and the name of the pdf file appears in the export window.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Update: changed the AppleScript to add a one second delay between entering the file name and hitting return in the save dialog. Seems to be working now. I guess hitting save so quickly after the dialog popped up was fubaring things. Still wonder why...

I have customised the billing.aspx page. I now need to programmically call the click event of the continue image button to continue to the next page. I can't fire the click event. Does any one know the click event name of the continue button?
