I really need help on this. I have tried multiple installs but with no sucess. Below is the copy of my marvel.conf.

I tested login with sqlplus apex_public_user/apex and that works fine. The page comes up fine but the gif files are missing and this what what I see in the error log file.
Filename is not valid: d:/oracle/product/10.2.0/apex/apache/apache/images"1px_trans.gif
Filename is not valid: d:/oracle/product/10.2.0/apex/apache/apache/images"javascript
I have added the include line in the http.conf pointing to the marvel.conf.
I get the login prompt and thats it - cannot go ahead than that. Any help would be highly appreciated.

omg ! where is this documented. I have uninstalled OH , reinstalled it 3 - 4 times.
Infact I even dowloaded the apex zip file 2 times thinking something went wrong while downloading.
That worked for me.. thanks a lot Maxim.

    Hi,
    Probably a mistake in your dads.conf file.
    ( Also check the APEX_PUBLIC_USER in the dads.conf file )

    I'm very annoyed about the fact that I payed for Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium 5 (EDU version) and now I'm not able to use it on my new Mac. The Support team (Chat) from Adobe told me several times that the product/serial or whatever was canceled but this doesn't help me to get the product working and I won't pay again for this software. So what's the reason for cancellation? I can't see reasons for this and I don't understand why Support team can't help me. Already found Error "The serial number is not valid for this product" | Creative Suite but this doesn't helped me.

    Maybe this is also useful... They told me I canceld this by myself which is not the truth. I had a Windows machine and used Creative Cloud as well but I only canceld the Cloud, not my Serial Number for Production Premium...
    So who is able to reactivate my Serial Number so that I'm able to use my product?

    general informations you will find there: https://www.adobe.com/account.html and this brandnew website:  Serial number and activation support.
    In case you bought your program from these firms like Amazon this "serial number" obtained from them is not a serial number, only a code with which you can request a serial number from Adobe.
    The following part, so I just see at least ceased to exist on my Adobe website, everything plays out in the link from above. I let it there as an info:
    Here you have to go through your "Adobe Store", and look for the button "Serial Number Request". Fill in the form and, after a while you will get a "real" serial number.

    the installation files work the same whether from a  disc or download, but there are other ways to mismatch a serial and installer.

    I bought CS5.5 Student/Teacher edition and applied for my serial number from Adobe. After validation of my proof of education Adobe sent me a serial number.     If you purchased it from Adobe, it is registered and that would prove ownership as well as the emaill they sent with the serial number.

    I did the same thing. Actually, the deployment team was getting this error and they called me up to find out. I analyzed and sent the following response:-

    +, I got the above error, ie URI index 0 is not valid. If you check each element then you will know that tableElement defines a namespace as xmlns:tran="http://www.bea.com/wli/sb/transports" which is neither being used by the node nor its child elements. Also the error in server logs was:-com.bea.wli.sb.transports.TransportException: URI index 0 is not valid.+
    It stuck that we were doing something wrong here. I checked other elements in the same file and found that some of them were starting the node as <tableElement xmlns="http://www.bea.com/wli/sb/transports">. So, tableElements should be qualified with this namespace:-http://www.bea.com/wli/sb/transports. It was clear there was issue with qualified name of the element and hence I added the prefix "tran" and made entry as:-

    When I executed the changed customization file it worked. I checked with few more elements and they all worked making me sure that this was the error.
    So, the issue was that the OSB was not able to find any URI and for index 0 there was no URI available. Hence we were getting a weird error which was not at all user friendly. However, while making the OSb they must have thought that no one will make any manual changes (by hand in the file) and this error would be sufficient to tell that there is something wrong with the customization and we must regenerate the customization file.
    Only solution that we do not receive this error in future is rather than making changes to the customization file manually we should use OSB console or scripts to replace the properties. Otherwise we need to be very careful while touching the Customization file.
