Filenames of photo attachments to emails

Is there any way that photos can have consecutive file names and when emailing these photos the consecutive file names remain such as on HTC phones? ie. the firt photo you take is called photo 1, the 100th is photo 100 etc. That way when ytou email them and save onto your computer you dont have multiples of the same file name as currently happens. Also when emailing to a client they think you have sent the same photo 5 times and it makes it harder to communicate with them because it is harder to define photos by file name.
also is it possible to send more than 5 photos at a time via email?
thanks - iphone 4

I am at work. A colleague has just mailed me a document with a table in Word and as a PDF. The word file was stripped of all contents. The formatting stayed as it was. The PDF comes through in perfect shape. Beginning to look like a Word problem to me. I will investigate that possibility. Please let me know if you have experienced this or have any suggestions as to how to fix this problem.

Unable to to save photo attachments from emails in ios7

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you boot, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

  • Why are my photo attachments to emails showing as code only to the recipient?

Hi I have a problem sending photos to my partner by email. We both have iPhones (5 and 5S). I'm using outlook to send the messages.  I can send and receive pictures to my other email accounts but when I send a photo to his email address it shows up only as code.

The issue with not seeing the paper clip in your Sent mailbox seems to be totally removed from anything related to recipients, and is something to perhaps yet be addresses in a future update.
To the issue with recipients, I would guess the recipient is using Outlook or Outlook Express, and the message is being sent in Rich Text (a form of HTML) and the recipient either cannot open the attachment, or they have an over zealous anti-virus filter that is removing the attachment out of fear caused by the presence of HTML.
More info about the recipient's platform, please.

  • Can't send photo attachments on email

I've had my LG G2 for about 5 weeks, and have never been able to send a photo attached to an email. They go fine on text messages, just not email. I always get "sending incomplete." I've resized, checked every setting I can find, and it just won't work. Any ideas?

YES, the Verizon.net email accounts that I've had for years does work correctly on my Verizonwireless smartphone. Two email accounts, one with one email address and one with TWO email addresses (that receive incoming mail to both addresses in the same email webpage mixed together)......
Yes I'm using the stock app on the Verizon cell phone.....
I don't use "Outlook" or "Outlook Express" at all....
The links you posted.....the first one deals with POP and all that...but my cell phone works sending emails....just NOT attachments....it's the same problem as the first post in this thread describes...emails with attachments fail to send....yet if they are sent as emails from TEXT messaging with an attachment...they will send....but shown as:
    phone [email protected]
    ...as the sender.
The second link you sent comes up as not available....
thanks for your efforts....I'll work on it as I can....

  • Importing photo attachments from email to Camera Roll

What is the easiest way to do this? Thanks

The only way is to get them on iPhoto and iTunes, then sync the iPhone. In other words, access your email on your computer, then save your photos to iPhoto, and then transfer them across during the sync. No way to do this just using the iPhone, that I know of.

  • Saving photo attachments

I can't figure out how to save photo attachments from email. I've searched the user's manual and various websites for the right answer to this. I've tried tapping and holding on the photo. I've tried bringing up the menu with the attachment open. None of it has worked. Can anyone help? Thank you!

I have provided some steps to assist with saving photo attachments. Hope this helps!
    1. From the home screen, select Messaging.
    2. Select a contact / mobile number.
    3. Select and hold the message.
    4. Select one of the following message options.
Depending upon message / attachment type, the available options will vary.
    Attached items
    Provides option to save attachments
I also provided a link for additional information. Click here http://search.vzw.com/?do=viewdoc&id=35227

  • TS4435 email photo attachments and iPhoto

Why can't I import email photo attachments directly into iPhoto...the option is there, but doen't work?

    Greetings,
How were the images sent: as part of a Rich Text email, or plain text email, with an attachment? Either way, for each image, you should see a Save button, which will display an Add to iPhoto option when you click and hold.

Are the pictures showing up as embedded? If so, try control - click the picture and select compress which will make a zip file you can attach.

Apple mail App unable to send email photo attachments direct to iphoto since  upgrade to mountain lion. Now I need to drag photos into i photo.  Has anyone have had this problem and has found a solution?

  • "Large" email photo attachments too small

For no apparent reason my email photo attachments are now too small. "Actual size" will render a 4Mb jpeg true to size. However, Large, Medium and Small give a 10 Kb image. This was never the case until just recently. I've just realized that the screen grab below is also very small.  Cheers, jp

My apologies - I have discovered that the issue is not apple related but caused by a new RAW converter I am using. Cheers, jp

  • Email photo attachments are getting visually compressed in the vertical. Cause?

My Email photo attachments are getting visually compressed in the vertical. Squashed as it were. Does anyone know thw cause?

What version of iPhoto and system are you running?  When did this begin.  Are you mailing directlhy from iPhoto as the email client or with Mail as the email client?  If it's iPhoto reset iPhoto's preferences so that Mail is the client and see if the problem is still occurring.

  • I am able to send emails containing text but not photo attachments. Any ideas?

I am able to send text emails but not photo attachments. When attempting to send photos direct from Photos I receive an error message and eventually a notice to say that transmission failed. Any ideas please?

Its like many issues, things just happen some times, but the more info you can provide will maybe help isolate the issue. You still haven't answered my other question about whether you can log into gmail directly from their site and send attachments. Even google servers go down sometimes. Sometimes an attachment is too large to be sent. Sometimes an internet provider has restrictions or limitations. Try other services, other connections, other photos that you may have sent in the past. All of this would help.
