FileNet workflow with Oracle BPM

Hi,
As part of the project we need to integrate the current workflows implemented in FileNet with Oracle BPM.
Can any one help me in this how i can move forward to achieve this.

I take from this description that you currently have your Web Application and you would possibly like to trigger or create an instance into an OBPM business process. If this is the case, you have several options available here:
a) Use PAPI (Java API).
b) Use PAPI-Ws (SOAP API).
c) Use some sort of communication channel that the process is implemented to listen (for example a JMS Queue or Topic).
For the first 2, you can try to take a look into the official Documentation page for OBPM through this link: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13154_01/bpm/docs65/index.html (Check the For Developers section).

Remote JDBC Problem with Oracle BPM Studio

When i configure a Remote JDBC Connection for SQL in BPM Studio, it prompt me an error.

I guess the weblogic.jar is not included in the studio.
So, i added weblogic.jar (Weblogic 10.3) and wlclient.jar (Weblogic 10.3)
It is working in my simple java code. But, still not working in BPM Studio.

Correlation Problem with Oracle BPM 2.1.2

I have developed a BPEL process that invokes Axis web services and then wait an asynchronous message from the services, using pick with onMessage tag. Previously, I do my work with Oracle BPM 2.0.10 and designer 0.9.5, it works well. But now, I have used Oracle BPEM 2.1.2 and designer 0.9.10, my Axis web services can not send any asynchronous message to the process. What's the problem? Must I set some configuration with BPM 2.1.2 or change my original BPEL code?

"my Axis web services can not send any asynchronous message to the process" --> means when you try to invoke an Axis Web services from a BPEL process, there are no callback message from the web services, right? Did you see any exception from either the console or BPEL server DOS window?

Mapping LDAP Role in Building Your First Process with Oracle BPM 11g

I'm working on "Building Your First Process with Oracle BPM 11g" I'm at the end of step where assigns user for the requester. The problem is in identity lookup, "Realm" is empty for Remote_WLServer.
Servers are up and running. Demo user community has been loaded - I can see the list of users and groups in the administration server under myrealm. We haven't done much since SOA suite 11g installation. I'm probably the first one who uses this. I wonder we have a missing set up? Can you me what's missing? Appreciate your help in advance.

Using workflow with Oracle InterConnect

Has anybody had any experience using Oracle WorkFlow with Oracle InterConnect? I have created events deployed by iStudio to Oracle Workflow but when I try to send the message, the activity/function that I create (both PL/SQL or External Java) using Oracle Workflow Builder never get executed. Am I missing something? Are there any procedure I need to run with iStudio and Oracle Workflow?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Edward,
When you say that the function never gets executed, do you mean that nothing in the workflow is running, or just this step?
Is the system status set correctly? Have the event definitions been deployed from iStudio to BES? Have you completed the post installation steps for InterConnect for workflow development?
Is it just the workflow component that you are having problems with? Since the workflow adapter is essentially a customized AQ adapter, this should run fine out of the box.

Memory issues with Oracle BPM 10gR3 application

We have been running the load test(100 concurrent users) on our web application that is developed using Oracle BPM 10gR3 and seeing stuck threads on rendering the workspace page in JSF API(method createAndMaybeStoreManagedBeans). I copied one of the stuck thread trace below. When we looked at the heap, it's full. GC also not releasing memory. From the analysis, I found that due to the lack of memory the requests are stuck. I also went through the forums and found that Oracle 10.3 workspace is a memory hogger.
Can anyone suggest me the recommendation settings for the workspace?
We don't have clusters setup yet and planning to setup one. Are there any limitations on the user load on workspace per node?
Please let me know if anyone had the same issue and resolved.

Pradeep, It's 4GB. Workspace and engine are running on the same JVM.

Starting with Oracle BPM - Tutorial

I'm starting with BPM Tutorial that I received from a friend.
it is a good Oracle tutorial, but in chapter 3 I need include a zip file called OrderInformation.order.zip and this is not in my bpm instalations. It says to looking for it in \Student\Order BPM Object, but this folder doesn't exist.
Has Somebody done this tutorial, the title is:
Oracle BPM Studio
Developer Workshop
For release Oracle BPM 10gR3
and the file name of this OBPM_Dev_Workshop_v23.pdf.
Does anyone have or know where i can get it?

If you are starting might be better to look at 11g, which I understand to be substantially different.

Linking Oracle Workflow with Oracle Applications

Hi All,
I have created a workflow file using Oracle Workflow Builder but dont know how to link it with Oracle Applications.
Can someone help me by giving the step by step process involved to link the wft file with my oracle application.

Things ar not clear .
If it is new workflow , then you will have to modify the application to use the
workflow. I do not think you want to do that. You need to set up attributes
of the workflow and create process using Oracle flow routine.
If you want modify the existing workflow , You need the open the existing
workflow and modify without changing the itemtype. If you create a new process
in this item type the you have to assign the process in Account window
in Oracle application.

WAPI and PAPI with Oracle BPM 10.3.1

I was having the problem with WAPI so I switched to PAPI and I am having the same problem anything wrong I am doing
I am using the PAPI program to connect and start the instance and I keep on getting the Instance not found exception. Although the process did get executed

http://<machineName>:<the port for the WorkSpace>/papiws/PapiWebServiceEndpoint?wsdland I believe this is the process specific web service URL for Studio:
http://<machineName>:9000/albpmServices/<YourProjectName>/ws/<YourProcessName>ServiceListener?wsdl=truefor Enterprise, I believe you can find the process specific web service WSDL by going to this URL from a browser:
