FileReference#download() and filename question
On the server side I set a HTTP header as
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=myfilename.txt
Is it possible to get this information in Flex client? The FileReference#download() function gives a possibility for a name to set on the file browser, but I can't figure out how to get it from the server. By default, the function uses the remote URL.
Any ideas?

I need to buy a larger h/d, but till then I would like to put as many programs as possible on a external usb drive that I have hooked up to my PC. I've been able to do this with some other programs, and would like to try it with my Adobe Reader and Flash. When down loading and installing it does not give me the option to install in a defferent location other then my C: drive. Can this be done? PCK Download and Approach Question
Hello,
I am relatively new to SAP and I wanted to download a trial version of the PCK. Can the PCK be downloaded by itself or is it only available as a part of the Netweaver download? I have found the Netweaver trial download here:

Is this what I should download to get started? Also, what would you recommend as introductory reading for the using the PCK to pass data (purchase orders, invoices, supplier data etc.) from a non SAP suply management application written in Java to SAP 4.6c. Would there be an approach that is considered best for this?

but RFC Adapter is on Java Adapter Engine and, as such, is part of PCK.

As for the IDOC, it's ABAP based and hence is not available on PCK.

Adobe Reader 9 download and install questions-bear with me here
I just uninstalled Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0.2 Update and Adobe Reader 6.0.1. Will I need to download the Windows Install Clean Up utility to clean out the old files before Adobe Reader 9 will install correctly, or am I exempt from that with version 6?
Bear with me here. When I clicked on the Download button for Adobe Reader 9, I was instructed that if a dialog box appeared with the option to run or save, click run. Normally when downloading from the Internet, I choose the option to save, and not knowing the best way to proceed, I cancelled the download. Is it best to run this, as instructed, rather than save it?
I'm using dial up. Approx. how long will it take to download Adobe Reader 9?

You may not have to but, it wouldn't hurt. Generally, you should use the utility if the install doesn't work.

Either way it doesn't matter. You are downloading the installer rather than the entire application. At the time you choose to run it, it will need to access the internet to get the rest of the files.

Can't help you there, depends on the speed of your connection. The entire application installer is around 25MB.
If you'd rather, you can always download the entire installer from ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.0/enu/AdbeRdr90_en_US_Std.exe . With that, you can save it to your hard drive and run it later without needing an internet connection. -
OS download and battery questions
Started to download newest os on ipad and got 2/3 through and froze up. Battery was in red zone so charged all night and it didn't take a charge. Any ideas please? Btw, using a mac charging cord.

Are you suggesting not upgrading old computer to Mountain Lion first but rather migrating to new computer (so that new computer will then have only a Lion installation) and then upgrading new computer to Mountain Lion (even though new computer obviously has Mountain Lion pre-installed)?

First question - I have Acrobat 9 on my desktop and the license seems to have been messed up. I tried to download and fis but I asked me for a disk. I don't have any idea where the "disk" is. Can I get the license update without that disk?

There are two Office versions: Office for Windows, and Office for Mac.

Adobe droplet question, involving Place command and filenames
Suppose I have two files called, (a) "background.tif" and (b) "Image001.tif".
Background.tif is a simple black layer, sized to 1500 x 1000 px. Image001.tif may be cropped to any size.
I want to do the following in a droplet:
1. Place (File/Place) "Image001.tif" in "background.tif", knowing it'll be centered and resized as needed automatically.
2. Save the new file for the web as "Image001.jpg",
3. close both files without saving (I only need the resulting JPG).
My goal - I have several hundred files that all need web-ready JPGs created with a standard size black background, so that they'll fit a web gallery that can only handle a fixed set of dimensions.
Questions:
1. Is this even possible via automation?
2. If so, how do I ensure that the JPG that gets created has the same name as the source image file; i.e. "image001.jpg", and then "image002.jpg", etc.?
3. is there a better way to create the end result, rather than using the place command; i.e. doing this with the original image file instead (thus solving the filenaming question)?

The only requirement is that the final result is 1500 x 1000 px. The black is used to fill in the sides/tops as necessary. Since this is to be automated, I need each new file to have a unique name of course (otherwise succeeding files will overwrite their predecessor).
For example, say I have a file called image001.tif that is cropped to 2400w x 3000h px. I need this to fit a container that's 1500 x 1000 px, with black filling this out.
Manually I would
1. Open a black TIFF that's already 1500x1000.
2. Place the 2400x3000 px image in the black tiff.
3. PS then resizes and centers the image to fit, while preserving the aspect ratio.
4. Thus the image is now sized to be 800w x 1000h px , with black filling the sides equally; i.e. 750 px of black on either side.
5. I then save that "new" version of the black file for the web, and then close w/o saving.
6. End result is a 1500x1000 file called image001.JPG.

I checked and it does not appear in the Applications folder.
I tried yesterday on an ethernet connection with a download speed of 2 Mbps but, unfortunately the connection died(It happened from the ISP end, which is out of my control) in between after which there was no trace of the download that happened for so long(till the internet connection death).
One more serious query which I am unable to understand. If the internet connection, dies in the midst of the download is in progress why is it so that the state does not persist and one has to restart the entire process again. Is there no solution for this?
I tried so many times and its the same case after some amount of download it vanishes. So many unsuccessful attempts. I am ****** off now. Is it not possible to see Mavericks? Why does different machines of Apple behave differently? Somewhere it goes smoothly and somewhere like my mine. Why did not Apple release a non apple store version? Is this not a bad sign of letting the users struggle when something is being offered for free?
The reason I asked as whether we can download the .app of Mavericks is that, there are so many applications that I have downloaded web and have installed. All that works fine. Can't we do the same here? You download a copy of Mavericks installer application and upload it for me in Google drive or like online storage places which can be downloaded and used by me? Help me understand.
