Files "Keep On Device" from Google Drive (Explore/Opening)

Since Apple won't let you just use a file explorer, like every other smartphone, you have to get creative. When downloading, say, an attachment, you have to use Google Drive to store the file remotely. Now say you want to store it on the iPhone to look at said file, and even open it (in a file explorer style app). First off, you have to select the "keep on device" option for the file, right? So now that that's been done, any suggestions for the file explorer type app? I've been using FileManager, which works alright, but there's gotta be something better out there. Any suggestions? I'd really like to keep things on the free side, unless the app is so amazing that I can't help paying for it.

I have implemented streaming an audio or video files by mpmovieplayer from Dropbox. For this purpose I am using Dropbox sdk. Audio or video files are playing with no problem from dropbox in my app.
But, I can not implement the same functionality from Google drive. I am using alternateLink,webcontentLink,EmbedLink,Exportlink that we get from google drive. But mpmovieplayer does not play audio or video. So how can get any link from google drive,by which i can streaming an audio or video file from google drive. I understand that you're working on a way to help moving back files to google drive. Actually, I can copy / paste, but it always renames the files, so I end up with both a "copy of" and my original file.
could you save and overwite the original file when it already exists ? (perhaps an option in the settings) ?

CameraRoll on Android and pictures from Google drive

CameraRoll currently allows to browse and select pictures which are stored on google drive and not the device itself. If I select picture from google drive I get #2004 error when I use open method of MediaPromise. Is there any way to exclude google drive images from CameraRoll? Or may be some way to load them without getting error?

Will it hit a beta version of the SDK so we can test and provide feedback? I do appreciate the response given how old this is but I have a ton of poor comments and one of my apps has been severely down ranked in Google Play as a result which is translating to lost revenue. Any info you can provide on this is appreciated like which version / build number, which bugs are resolved and general availability would be nice (1 week, 1 month?). The AIR release notes leave much to be desired. Is the below fixed? It shows open and unverified currently...

My illustrator files keep on jumping from one monitor to another

I have two Apple 30" Cinema displays, a 24" Cintiq and an overhead projector.
My illustrator files keep on jumping from one of the Apple Displays either to the
Cintiq or the projector even if they are off.
Also illustrator files may open in any one of them.
Any suggestions please.

The file should open on the screen with the menu bar, unless the file was opened before and then it will remember the window location.
Try doing a window >> application frame, and see if that shoiuld force your windows to open in the application frame

When downloading a file from google drive and save in my phones document directory,the file size is compressed. Why?

I have downloaded files from "Dropbox" and save in phones document directory,After downloading in document directory,the size of the download file is same as the actual size in dropbox. I can also open it from document directory.Everything is ok. But when I follow the same process for google drive files, the file size is compressed(if actual size of file is 1.2Mb the download file size is 61Kb). So I can not open it from document directory.So, How can i download the actual size of the file in document directory? I am using google api objectivec client for google drive.

When will my icloud folder reflect memory upgrade? I am trying to move files from google drive folder to icloud.

My icloud folder does not reflect storage upgrade. I only had 25GB on my google drive and I have 500GB on my icloud but cannot move these files over. Whats up?

How much free storage do you have on your system drive? Since all files on iCloud Drive will be mirrored on your system drive as shadow copies in your user library, you can only keep as many files on iCloud Drive as can be kept on your system drive as well.
You cannot use iCloud Drive to save space on your system drive, if that is what you are trying to do.

Some iPhoto files won't transfer from external drive to the hard drive.

I had all of my photos on an external drive and I wanted to put them on the hard drive of my iMac.
While copying all of the photos over, some of the files copied as 0 bytes into the "Data," "Originals," and "Modified" folders, but not the same files. So, some images have no thumbnail image in iPhoto (guessing from "Data"), some have no original image, but have a modified image, and some have no image at all (the 0 byte files that are only in "Originals."
The images are all fine on the external drive still.
Any idea of what I can do? Any file I can zap from the library or something to make this work?

Open the library on the EHD with the Finder as shown in this screenshot
and look in the Masters folder to see if any of the original files have zero bytes? Do not make any other changes/alterations, i.e. look but don't touch. If you do find zero byte image files then it's not the copy process that is the culprit but the files are bad to start with.

Downloading CS6 Master Collection from Google Drive

I've deleted photos from the lightroom (5) catalog but the files havent been deleted from the folder on the hard drive (external). What have i done wrong?

My Library6.iPhoto file is corrupted. How do I create a new 'Library' when all the 'original' stills are on an external drive and will not fit on my 'desktop'?

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

How can I move my address file and mail folders from one drive image to the active drive?

I have a drive with recovered data from a crashed drive. How do I import the Thunderbird address file to the new, current drive ( also the mail folders ) ?

Look at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-tb#w_how-to-find-your-profile to locate your profile on the recovered disk.
If you are just starting TB with a new profile, the simplest thing to do would be to copy the recovered profile to the directory where your current profile is located. Then switch; see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/using-multiple-profiles to switch to the other profile
If you have stuff in your current profile you need to save or merge, let me know and I will give you further instructions.
