Files needed to make ipod work have gone

i plugged my ipod into my computer for charging, and 10 seconds later a message came up saying something like (but not exactly,)"Your Disk Drive (/F) is malfunctioning so all files were deleted." These included the files nessessary to make it work such as the 4+ folders with all the files in. is there any where that i can get them back? Also by computer ONLY recognises it as a removable disk drive and when i try ipod updater it says "Please Insert an iPod into your Computer"

See if you can format it. If you can, then do a restore.
Open My Computer and find the iPod.
Make ABSOLUTELY SURE that this is your iPod.
Right click on it, and click on Format.
Select the Quickformat option.
Click Start.
Let the iPod format... if it goes through, restore the iPod.
Just to let you know, this can cause your computer to react extremely slowly... just give it time and be patient. If you click on too many things trying to speed it up, you'll end up making it take longer.

You cannot make midi from audio with GB. You'd need a sampler.

I need to make air.worker to work in my HTML only adobe air. I see airAliases.js has those definition.
There is no guide or tutorial in how to use them. Can someone direct me example of how to use them?
Also worker do not work in Adobe air.

above code work in ff browser but do not work in adobe air preview mode. It say worker not defined. Is it same as air.worker?

I have no experiance with workers in AIR, but I think you are assuming that things work like HTML5 web workers, which they do not. Check out the ActionScript3 dpcs to see how they work:

Not sure how you can bridge the webkit environment with AS3 workers. Seems to be unchartered territory.

This comes up a lot these days.
Practically speaking, there are really four options for the Mac platform: Toast (<$100), Adobe Premier Productiom ($1,600 to buy or $50/month to rent), find a copy of Final Cut Studio from 3rd party (+/- $1,000 new) or a boxed edition of iLife to get iDVD ($50 - $90 on Amazon new).
The other question everyone has is how many OS versions before iDVD or FCS breaks? No one knows, but Apple has said they're no longer supporting these legacy apps. Of course, no one is mandated to upgrade to a new OS unless they buy a new computer. So if it works on a system, stay with it as long as it makes sense.

When are they going to bring out an update that makes ipod work properly?

Every version of iTunes I've had has caused my PC to crash. It still isn't able to convert more than 4 WMA files to Mp3 without crashing, today it decided that I can't drag and drop whole folders, I have to do individual songs, and that's after reinstalling an old version of iTunes because the latest updates for iPod and iTunes made my PC crash over and over (around 10 times before I could actually use it and uninstall the update). If I'm listening to iTunes and I open a webpage with quicktime, *Blue screen* + multiple reboots. When will Apple stop messing about and bring out an update that makes iPod/iTunes actually work?

TS3989 the uploading and downloading of photos in photostream is not working, it used to work. have gone through all the setups. checked that everything is on. using windows7 pc. any ideas ??

My Flash site is now complete. At this point what are my next
steps in making my Flash site live (i.e., uploading to a server).
What are the necessary files that I need and do I need to use
Dreamweaver, and if so what is the process to make my site live in

you can use Flash to publish your site.. File---Publish
Settings, make sure the .swf and .html boxes are checked, and you
can rename your HTML file, i like to use index since that is what
browsers look for first, then hit Publish... you can then open up
the newly created HTML file (found in the same folder as your FLA)
in a text editor, or dreamweaver, and edit the Title, and whatever
else you want, save, then upload the HTML and SWF file to your
server/hosting client..

Adobe 8 PDF maker stopped working- have reinstalled but still doesn't work

I have unistalled and reinstalled (chose standard install) but when trying to make a PDF file from a word document get "Missing PDF maker files". Have also tried repairing but hasn't fixed it? Help please

You can always print to the Adobe PDF printer if you get pressed, but then you lose the features of PDF Maker. You did not indicate the version of WORD or if you upgraded WORD to an new version. That is important in the answer. If you had not upgraded WORD, but maybe did periodic updates, it may have disabled the PDF Maker addin.
Of course, you have have not told us how you were trying to make the PDF from the WORD files. What were your steps, that may also impact the answer.

my experiences: MacOsX under 800MB is no fun...
afaik, iM doesn't profit that much of more'n more RAM,
I think 1GB is a good compromise for your demands&wallet...
a better CPU increases speed dramatically,
G4, G5, dual, quad, Intel... in that order...

Just clogs up all storage space on every device with duplicate images/videos. I am looking for a delete when backed up feature. Does that exist?

You and Murray have both alluded to a separate "testing"
server. Perhaps I can make this system work by setting up the

Have task of modifying rows of the same excel sheet, number of times without touching data already present (numbers and strings)
I have an excel file. (attached)
A test will be run N number of times. (N<=17)
SubTask 1 --> Each time it runs, string data needs to be placed in 'n'th row. (...there are going to be notes in Row 18 and row 19)
SubTask 2 --> Each time it runs, a 1D array data also will be placed in the same row (but in different cells)
SubTask 3 --> The number 'n' of the row (where to place the current iteration's data) needs to be determined on fly (by looking at "n-1"st non blank row)
The same file needs to be used.
How can above be achieved ?

Richfaces fileupload with myfaces 1.1.5. Cant make it work

I am a newbie to jsf technologies. I use myfaces 1.1.5 with tomcat 5.5 and richfaces 3.2.0 and trying to use richfaces fileupload component. I use netbeans IDE. When i try to run the project it fails building the project and the error in tomcat log is like below.

Yea i solved the problem. I mean at least i know what is the problem :) As you said richfaces 3.2.0 is not working with jsf 1.1. Richfaces 3.1.6 works fine with it. But the funny thing is there is no file upload component in 3.1.6 version :) So, i am using myfaces.

My ipod screen has gone while i was trying to restore it and now it wont do anything and it wont connect to itunes either, how can i fix it?

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Tehn connect to your computer and restore via iTunes is necessary.
- If you still have the white screen it is time for an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
