Filesharing Through 2 Routers...does NAT work?
Hi folks. I have a situation that someone might have some insight into.
I bought a professional router. Works like a charm. I use it as my top router. It serves 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.10.
I have a laptop and I use my old DLink 624 wireless router as an access point.
What I have done is plugged the DLink into the new router, and given it a fixed IP, which is just a static internal IP assigned in the new router. No problem.
I can't get filesharing to work using local names. I can get filesharing to work from the laptop to a desktop on the LAN, however not using NAT. I have to put in the IP number. Also, I can't force the IP of the laptop to get filesharing to come up.
Any ideas how I can force NAT to come up, for both ways? I just want the DLink to be transparent.

A couple of last things to try with the 624.
Go back in to the 624 and 'disable' DHCP.
Depending on what band thie new 'professional' router is...both the D-Link and the "Pro" may be giving out addresses in the same range (I'm 99% certain that D-Link assigns addresses in the 192.168.1.x range...and so does the 'Pro', according to your post).
I think that you're using the term NAT, where the term DNS might be better.
NameAddressTranslation does fit, but DNS is more what you're describing

After making the changes to 624, I'd suggest powering down all computers and routers.
Then bring up them up in this order, pausing after each turn-on:

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (The results from mydigitallife and Major Geeks are worth checking.)
After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp. Restart the PC, and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
Deployment of software through Group policy does not work

I am using windows server 2008 R2 and all my clients are running Windows 7 Enterprise and they are working over a domain, note that I am using VMware.

Relinking files through link checker does not work properly.
Good Morning:
I am using Dreamweaver CS6, and updating an old site (built in CS4). I have over 100 broken links to graphics which I am trying to relink through the "link checker" - will sporadic success.
I have to update this site yearly, with new product graphics.
When I try to update using the "check links sitewide" feature, I can update maybe two graphics, and then it will hiccup on the third attempt and REFUSE to relink to the new graphic I direct it to.
My computer specs are as follows:
Mac Pro
Processor 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Memory 2 GB 800 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM
Graphics ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256 MB

Any help would be appreciated.My guess is that you defined the language used to check on one or a few number of words.
Select all the define the language to use.
I'm quite sure that, after that, it will do the trick correctly.

Loading flash through ajax does not work in IE 6.

load a video from youtube, etc, and do so dynamically through ajax,

When trying to PDF a webpage into a PDF, it does not work, I go through all the steps as normal, and It does nothing. I can repeat my action, where instead of "printing" to adobe, it saves the file, which it doesn't save it at all. I can't even find the original in my work folder. I need to know how to stop this from happeing and get it back to the way it has been working he last 6 months since i purchased this program.

Are you able to print the webpage to 'Adobe PDF' to convert it to pdf.

while updating my ipad to new software through itunes it got stuck and does not work anymore - it just displays the screen with symbols of itunes and the cable to connect to it - help - what should i do?
Disconnect the iPad, do a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!, reconnect and follow the prompts.

Static NAT pass-through; can not get to work
I am not having any luck getting a static NAT pass-through to work.
BM3.8/NW6.5 all patched to the latest patches (no betas). IPFLT is NOT
loaded.
My internal network on one LAN all have 10.100.xxx.xxx private addresses.
Dynamic NAT works great.
I have secondary public IP addresses bound to my public NIC. Static NAT
mapping between the secondary public IP addresses and the couple of
individual private addresses work just fine. In other words, all has been
working fine.
I need to give one of those internal resources its public IP address
(change it's private to its public).
OK, I went into the NAT table and changed the proper public <-> private to
public <-> public (identical addresses). I changed the internal computer
to it's public address/mask with the same default gateway the server is
using. The internal computer can now only ping itself; can't even ping
it's default gateway. I did reinitialize, and also restarted. I can not
get the pass-through connection to work.
Any thoughts will be well received.

I was billed for a renewal with eHarmony via iTunes that does not work. Eharmony said itunes claims the charge didnt go through but I have already been billed it is on my bank statement. Yes, I reported the problem using that exact sequence immediately after discovering the problem with the app. When I submitted my complaint and request, Apple redirected me the website of the app manufacturer where I submitted the same complaint/request for refund. I have not heard back from either, and was still charged, so I can only assume that is not the correct way to "Report a Problem" even though Apple would have you believe otherwise.

The auxillary jack on my Itouch does not allow sound to come through with headphones, though it works in a dock as well as external speakers. How can I fix this?
You can try the standard fixes of reset, restore from backup and restore to factory defaults to rule out a hsoftware proble. Frequently it is to to a problem with the eadphone jack and the solution is to replace the jack.

Smartview v11.1.1.3 drill through reports does not work in grids?

I'm using v11.1.1.3 and know there is a drill through function to FDM from Smartview grids. I've tried but it does not work in the grids, only works in the forms. However, I'm able to drill through to FDM from workspace grids. Does anyone encounters the same?? Appreciate any kinds advices. Thanks!Are you certian that the report is showing an input level cell? Often reports are designed to run at Total dimension members, i.e. <Entity Curr Total> which you can not drill into.
