Fileupload issue. Unable to get the full local directory path of the file uploaded

Fileupload Applet Issue with Firefox 15:
When uploading a file using our application, file that is being uploaded is hashed using a signed Applet.
This is working fine in IE and FF version lower than FF15.
Signed applet needs to hash file contents but it is is unable to read the full path of the uploaded file, and thus failing.
Applet expects the full path of the file that has been uploaded
Is there any way to get the full file path?

Is not a new feature and not really a bug, but rather a security change that they have cleaned up code and removed the ability to use UniversalXPConnect that made it possible in older Firefox versions to get enhanced privileges.<br />
That is no longer possible, so any code that relies on it will fail silently.<br />
You will now require an extension to run any code that requires enhanced XPCOM permissions.

    Error occurred. Performing error cleanup prior to returning.
    Cancelling network connection to \\*****.com\ADMIN$.

    Error 64 is being returned which is simply "the network name is no longer available".
    There can be a number of reasons for this from SMB compatibility issues (2003 servers wont support SMB2), to the expected and actual computer name of the boxes don't match (tries to authenticate with server.tld.com when the actual name is srv-01.tld.com and
    you just put a C-name in). I'd start from the top:  Try opening said share from the Primary Site server as that's the box doing the work.  Verify the IP and computer name is legit and that no one has played ACL games between the two systems (remember
    RPC only initiates/listens on port 135 but established connections are up in the dynamic port range).
    At the end of the day it's an issues "underneath" SCCM, and not an SCCM problem specifically.

  • I cannot get the file download using 1.6

    Hi,
    I am using HTMLDB v1.6 and I have followed the example to upload and download files. I was able to get the file upload working but I am getting the page cannot be found error message. I am using a package to implement the page download can I do that? The URL I entered when I set the ID files is
    #OWNER#.JobManagement.Download_Submitted_File?p_file=#ID#.
    The URL Generated when I click on the download link is:
    http://aseera:7777/pls/htmldb/BFAYEZ.JobManagement.Download_Submitted_File?p_file=4.
    Anyone has any idea why the download is not working?
    Thanks,
    Bashar

    Sergio,
    I looked at the log files and I was able to figure out what was wrong. I changed my parameter name to p_job_id for the stored procedure but I used the p_file parameter name from the example. I also switched to use the package instead of the stored procedure and that worked too. The only thing I need to figure out is why the downloaded file name is packagename.ext for the file name.
    Thanks,
    Bashar

  • Error 1030723 Unable to get UTF-8 locale when using Essbase API 11.1.1

    Now I got a question about how to connect to an Essbase Server by using essbase client API (11.1.1). I encountered an error “Unable to get UTF-8 locale” when I tried to EssInit((pInitStruct, phInstance) API.
    However, I had no problem to call the API if I uses essbase previous client APIs (7.1 or 9.3).
    I passed the “ESS_API_UTF8” to usApiType field in the ESS_INIT_T struct. When I openned the “essapi.h” header file, I found these are some new fields (highlighted in red color below) added in the essbase client API (11.1.1)
    ESS_TSA_API_typedef_struct(ess_init_t)
    ESS_TSA_ELEMENT(ESS_ULONG_T, Version); /* This should be set to ESS_API_VERSION */
    ESS_TSA_ELEMENT(ESS_PVOID_T, UserContext); /* void pointer to user's message context */
    ESS_TSA_ELEMENT(ESS_USHORT_T, MaxHandles); /* max number of context handles required */
    ESS_TSA_ELEMENT(ESS_SIZE_T, MaxBuffer); /* max size of buffer that can be allocated */
    ESS_TSA_ELEMENT(ESS_STR_T, LocalPath); /* local path to use for file operations */
    ESS_TSA_ELEMENT(ESS_STR_T, MessageFile); /* full path name of message database file */
    ESS_TSA_ELEMENT(ESS_PFUNC_T, AllocFunc); /* user-defined memory allocation function */
    ESS_TSA_ELEMENT(ESS_PFUNC_T, ReallocFunc); /* user-defined memory reallocation function */
    ESS_TSA_ELEMENT(ESS_PFUNC_T, FreeFunc); /* user-defined memory free function */
    ESS_TSA_ELEMENT(ESS_PFUNC_T, MessageFunc); /* user-defined message callback function */
    ESS_TSA_ELEMENT(ESS_STR_T, HelpFile); /* user-defined help file path */
    ESS_TSA_ELEMENT(ESS_PVOID_T, Ess_System); /* reserved for internal use */
    ESS_TSA_ELEMENT(ESS_USHORT_T, usApiType);
    ESS_TSA_ELEMENT(ESS_PCATCHFUNC_T, CatchFunc); /* user-defined kill-own-request signal callback function */
    ESS_TSA_ELEMENT(ESS_PCATCH_INIT_FUNC_T, CatchInitFunc); /* user-defined kill-own-request signal initialization callback function */
    ESS_TSA_ELEMENT(ESS_PCATCH_TERM_FUNC_T, CatchTermFunc); /* user-defined kill-own-request signal termination callback function */
    ESS_TSA_ELEMENT(ESS_PCOOKIE_CREATE_FUNC_T, CookieCreateFunc); /* user-defined cookie creation function */
    ESS_TSA_ELEMENT(ESS_PCOOKIE_DELETE_FUNC_T, CookieDeleteFunc); /* user-defined cookie creation function */
    } ESS_TSA_END(ESS_INIT_T);
    I could not find any document to introduce the API (11.1.1. And what does the error “Unable to get UTF-8 locale” mean? How can work around it. Any environment parameters or paths need to be set?
    Please advise.

    Hi,
    The API documentation for V11 is available from :- http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12825_01/epm.111/esb_apiref/frameset.htm?launch.htm
    Hopefully it might point you in the right direction.
    Cheers

    Hi
    I used dynamic partnerlink, in this i am able to invoke the services dynamcially but i am unable to get the response from the services which i had invoked dynamically. In my dynamic partnerlink wsdl i had included callback binding and call back service in the wsdl you can see them below
    <binding name="LoanServiceCallbackBinding" type="tns:LoanServiceCallback">
    <soap:binding style="document" transport="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/http"/>
    <operation name="onResult">

    </input>
    </operation>
    </binding>
    <service name="LoanServiceCallbackService">
    <port name="LoanServiceCallbackPort" binding="tns:LoanServiceCallbackBinding">
    <soap:address location="http://openuri.org"/>
    </port>
    </service>
    please help me on this
    thanks
    Srikanth

    Hi, thanks for the input
    Actually My partnerLink had two messageTypes one for Input message request and the other for the Output message request and for the input message i had used the operation as initiate also for the output messsage type operation as result.For both of them binding is defined.
    With these am passing the values from myBPELl to the service which am nvoking dynamically but unable to capture the response the variables are local to myBPEL.

    ThankYou!!!

  • Siebel 8.0.0.12 Fix Pack; Unable to get the seed from binary file.

    Hello Folks,
    Can anyone throw some light into what action is required on my scenario.
    I have applied Fix Pack Siebel 8.0.0.12 on top of 8.0.0.11 SBA. After it is appled, I am facing a documented issue within the Release Notes for the 8.0.0.12 Fix Pack
    The issue is "UNABLE TO LAUNCH URL AFTER APPLYING SIEBEL 8.0.0.12". I tried the steps given with the MR document, however, I am still having this issue.
    I am also not sure what is expected at the step of; Run the following command: seedgeneratorutil myseed.dat abcdef .
    It's asking me for a value to enter for seed at command prompt. "Enter the seed":
    what I should give here. As an assumption values,I gave SADMIN and tried to launch but still shows up the same error
    Please Assit
    Steps Details from Release Notes:
    UNABLE TO LAUNCH URL AFTER APPLYING SIEBEL 8.0.0.12
    Component: Server Infrastructure
    Subcomponent: SWSE
    Product Version: Siebel 8.0.0.12
    Base Bug ID: 11938270
    **Users are unable to launch the URL after applying the Siebel 8.0.0.12 Fix Pack.
    **Use the following workaround to address this issue:
    Navigate to the eappweb/bin directory from the command line on the SWSE installation.
    Run the following command:
    seedgeneratorutil myseed.dat abcdef
    NOTE: In the example, myseed.dat is a filename. You can give any file name you wish.
    The myseed.dat file is generated in the eappweb/bin directory.
    Edit eapps.cfg to include the following parameters under the SWE section:
    seedfile = < complete path for myseed.dat >
    Bounce the web server.
    (For Linux only) Copy libmod_swe.so from the eappweb/bin folder to the web/ohs/modules folder
    Thanks

  • Unable to get the filename from file upload UI element

    Hi,
    I added a FileUpload UI element.
    I created an attribute of type resource , assigned to the resource property of the file upload element.
    I created an action button called upload and added the following code.
    try {
           IWDResource resource = wdContext.currentContextElement().getFileupload();
          } catch (Exception e) {
             e.printStackTrace();
    when I debug to see the value of resource it is null.
    Please let me know where I am going wrong.
    Regards,
    Narayani

    Hi,
    Check if there are any space characters in your uploading path (file path).
    First try to upload a file without any space characters in the uploading path(file path). If the problem is with the space characters then use the below encoding & decoding to resolve that issue.
    Encoding while uploading the file:
    // Getting the file resource
    IWDResource resource = element.getCtx_va_FileResource();
    //Getting the resource name
    String resourceName = resource.getResourceName();
    //Encoding the resource name
    String encoderesourceName = java.net.URLEncoder.encode(resourceName,"UTF-8");
    Again while downloading you can use decoder.
    Hope this helps to resolve your issue.
    See this below link.
    Re: File Upload Problem
    Try this encoding even if there are no space characters.
    Regards,
    Charan

  • Using patch plans for 12.1.0.2 target oracle home fails with 'PREREQ_MESG: Unable to get the version of OPatch'

    We are attempting to use patch plan to apply PSU and one-offs to a new 12.1.0.2 database oracle home.  Our EM version is 12.1.0.4.
    We are experiencing the same issue described in ''Bug 20271609 : Unable to get the version of OPatch".   This bug is closed as 'duplicate bug to filer' but we do not appear to have visibility into what patch/bug fixes the issue.
    Description from the above mentioned bug is our same issue.  We do not have this issue when we use patch plans against an 11.2.x oracle_home target.  It is unique to 12.1.0.2 oracle_home target.
    Description from the bug:
    The Plan failed in step "Run Prerequisite Checks" with the following errors:
    PREREQ_NAME: Minimum Version of OPatch
    PREREQ_DESC: Check if the required version of OPatch is present on the target
    PREREQ_TYPE: PATCH_TOOL_CHECK
    PREREQ_STATUS: FAILED
    PREREQ_MESG: Unable to get the version of OPatch at
    /u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0/dbhome_2/Opatch
    We have opened an SR to see if we can get more info on what was already identified as a bug.  Has anyone else experienced this issue?  If so, can you share any patches or workarounds (other than manually applying patches) that you found useful?
    Thanks.

    You'll probably get the same info from Support, but the workaround is to use the Patch Database (however that doesn't work if there's no DB target associated to that home).   If you were trying to do patchign out of place (clone home, patch, then move db's), EM can do this for you.   If you're just installing a new DB Home and trying to patch, then i don' think there's another workaround.  The base bug is marked fixed though, so a backport for the 12.1.0.6 plugin should be available very soon.  I would ask the support analyst to request the backport for your plugin/patch level...

  • APEX_UTIL.GET_PRINT_DOCUMENT Error Unable to get the document

    Hi,
       I am working on Oracle APEX 4.1 to send the report as an attachment through mail  I am unable to get the document while calling the APEX_UTIL.get_print_document. I have created a report query and report template (rtf template) so as to send the report as an email attachment. The report works fine individually upon clicking of button so there is no issue in BI publisher configuration. I am sure there is something very trivial which I am missing out here. Any help will be appreciated.
    Declare
       l_id number;
       l_document BLOB;
       l_error_msg varchar2(2000);
    BEGIN
       l_document := APEX_UTIL.GET_PRINT_DOCUMENT
             p_application_id=>'123',
             p_report_query_name=>'Sample_Report',
             p_report_layout_name=> 'Sample_Report',
             p_report_layout_type=>'RTF',
             p_document_format=>'PDF',
             p_print_server => 'f?p=&APP_ID.:0:&SESSION.:PRINT_REPORT=Sample_Report'
       IF l_document is null
       THEN
           dbms_output.put_line( ' no report returned');
          l_error_msg:='<html> <body> <h1 > Apologies the report was not returned from the apex , as there is some printing issues </h1> </body> </html> ';
       ELSE
          l_error_msg:=null;
       END IF;
       IF l_error_msg IS NULL THEN
           l_id := APEX_MAIL.SEND(
           p_to => '[email protected]',
           p_from => '[email protected]',
           p_subj => 'APEX_MAIL with attachment',
           p_body => 'Please review the attachment.',
           p_body_html => '<b>Please</b> review the attachment' || l_error_msg);
          dbms_output.put_line(l_id);
          IF l_document is not null then
             APEX_MAIL.ADD_ATTACHMENT (
                        p_mail_id => l_id,
                        p_attachment => l_document,
                        p_filename => 'Sample_Report.pdf',
                        p_mime_type => 'application/pdf');
          END IF;
    END IF;
    END;
    Here the output says no report returned.
    Thanks & Regards
    Ahmed

    Try removing the parameter p_print_server from the call.  This will use your default print server which should already be configured to use the BI Publisher engine.

  • Unable to get the admin object for the CsContainerAdmin service

    Hi,
    On AIX, we deployed XIR2 SP2 --> XIR2 SP3 --> SP3 Productivity Pack.
    The Conection server does show up on the server list in the CMC, but on trying to access this server, it throws an error" Unable to get the admin object for the CsContainerAdmin service"
    Tried to manually create another Connection server, same result.
    Is this an issue that is addressed by a later FP?
    Thanks in advance
    Rajesh Jayakumar

    Hi Rajesh,
    Were you able to resolve this issue? I am facing the same issue with almost every BOE 11.5 SP3 server on Windows.
    For example, the Input file server says this -
    "Unable to get the admin object for the FileServerAdmin service for server Input.BOCMSMSGT1.fileserver".
    Getting the same error on WebI Report Server as well -
    There was an error while retrieving data from the server: Unable to get the admin object for the WebiServerAdmin service for server BOPROCENG1.Web_IntelligenceReportServer.webiserver
    Thanks,

  • Hello.  Since accepting the upgrade to the current version of I Tunes (11.4) I have been unable to get the application to boot.  I receive the message that I Tunes was not installed correctly and Error 7 (Windows Error 193).

    Hello.  Since accepting the upgrade to the current version of I Tunes (11.4) I have been unable to get the application to boot.  I receive the message that I Tunes was not installed correctly and Error 7 (Windows Error 193).  I have uninstalled/reinstalled I Tunes several times and this has not resolved the issue.  I also uninstalled/reinstalled Microsoft.net Framework 4 since this was suggested by Apple support.  This also has not resolved the issue.
    When I reinstall I Tunes, I get a message that the “Service ‘apple mobile device’ failed to start.”  Verify you have sufficient privileges to start system services.  I attempted to manually start the Apple Mobile Device service but get a pop up stating, “Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.”Unsure what I should try next.

    For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
    The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
    Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
    The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if one component, such as Apple Mobile Device Support, won't install normally.
    In your case I suggest you start with a clean download of the setup file using the direct link. If reinstalling AMDS alone doesn't work try tearing everything down again.
