This feature of encryption is dangerous to do (generally if Mac has Not backup-ed) and can be done in OS X 10.7.4 (Late 2006 - Mac Book Pro)?
Can be done even in a SSD Mac Book Pro ?

Hi experts,
We've been using password resets without issues for several months. Recently we upgraded from version 5.3 SP12 to SP14.
I've read the CUP release note that explains that how password resets now validates against the ABAP system parameter for login/password_change_waittime.
The errors we are experiencing happen even when the users' password is reset for the first time in a day.
Error message:
X Unable to reset password in the following system(s): ECDCLNT100. Password can be changed only once in a day
Please advise if you have experienced this error, if there is a resolution, and/or if there is a way to disable the parameter check.
FYI - We are only using password resets in our non-production systems and are not concerned with multiple daily password resets.

You have to know the old password in order to change to the new one if you select the user anyway, so no.

I observed that in 9i (9.2.0.8 and 9.2.0.6 on Solaris 9), the timestamp of the orapw<SID> file changes when a non-sys account is LOCKED/UNLOCKED. There is no change in the size of the file, but timestamp alone gets changed to the time the account is locked/unlocked.
orapwd<sid> stores the password for administrative accounts, what has it got to do with non-sys accounts( an account with just create session privs ) ?
Is it the expected behaviour ?

You can create a user defined metric which will query the table "dba_users" and check for "account_status" and will alert you whenvr usr is locked.
You can find the link for creating "user defined metric" at "Related Links" section at the bottom of database homepage in OEM.

Password - can't change Gmail Outgoing Server fields

I'm changing my Gmail passwords, iPhone 6.0.
I click through to Settings --> Mail --> Account --> Acount Information.
On the first screen, I am able to change my password.
However, then I need to click through to the Outgoing Mail Server info. So:
Settings --> Mail --> Account --> Acount Information --> SMTP --> Primary server, smtp.gmail.com -->
When I click on smtp.gmail.com, I come to a screen with fields including: host name, user name, password, use ssl. These are all gray: they are grayed out, and I can't change my password here. I'm assuming this is why I can't now access this email account on my iphone! has anyone else encountered this?

Checked that but it's not the problem. Thank you. My primary server is grayed out. The only one that will allow an update is my work server, so I change the password there, but still can't on the others.

Hi - I'm tearing my hair out with frustration and would really appreciate any advice anyone has. I have skype on my desktop at work, working well, but can't access my account anywhere else.I'm told my password is wrong. But when I try to change it, the skype form says it wil email me at the email address it has on file for me. This is an old account I closed some years back. But I can't edit my profile to give a new email address without being asked to verify my identity with my password, which I don't have!Any and all advice would be really welcome.

hello! i remember my skype name but not the password attached to this account in the recent event of updating to windows 10 the account is now lost for me. and i been trying to find a way to email the skype team for a good 2 weeks now without any succsess. the biggest problem is that the email that might be attached to this account is no longer valid the ISP (a company i used to work for) stopped the email service. which gave me a couple of problems with some other places i been using the same email for. i would apriciate if i could get a e-mail to skype support team so i can give them my skype name and answere a few question they might have before they reset my password, i got some contacts on this account id like to keep in touch with and yeah my memory is rather poor to be honest thank you in advance. best regard Bjørn

To change the ID on your phone for purchasing, go to Settings>Store, tap the ID shown, sign out, sign back in with the ID you want to use. To change the iCloud ID on your phone you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Your Apple ID is required to log in to iCloud, yes? I think you are rquired to re-sign in when performing an iCloud feature?
