Filing sent messages real-time

A new & happy iMac owner, i am organizing and just set up Mail folders. While it is easy to file incoming messages into my folders, I can't find an easy (i.e. one-click) way to file my sent messages that I want to retain in a folder. After sending, I am going to the Sent folder, highlighting a message, and copying it to a folder. At work, Outlook has a Send&File option to use when sending the original. I have read about Smart Mailboxes, but that doesn't answer to me. What am I missing? Thanks for any advice.

You’re missing nothing. This is a well-known Mail shortcoming. Mail applies rules automatically to incoming messages only. There are at least three ways to work around this limitation:
(1) Apply the rules manually every so often by selecting the messages in Sent and doing Message > Apply Rules.
(2) Go to Preferences > Composing and check Automatically [Bcc] myself, so that the rules are applied automatically to the copies received. If you do this, you may also want to set Mail to erase copies of sent messages after a certain amount of time in Preferences > Accounts > Mailbox Behaviors.
(3) Use Andreas Amann’s Mail Scripts’ Filter Sent Messages script to make Mail apply the rules automatically to your sent messages as well.

You didn't read my problem - I said I deleted a POP email account. I always read the messages that pop up and in Mail when you delete a POP account - IT DOESN'T TELL YOU NUTHIN! It just deletes it - which *** for me. Fortunately, I had an iPhone and on that device I had about a 1000 messages that I could recover but on all my POP accounts I download them from the server onto my Mac so they were only on Mail (the really old ones that I wanted to keep.) I had to move them into another directory one by one basically because when I would move 50 some of them would move and some wouldn't and I never did figure out that problem. Basically the ones that would not move are the ones that were associated with my domain changes with GoDaddy, and there were a lot of those. Have no idea as to why only those were resistant to moving but I can get all that data from GoDaddy anyway.
This thread is now moot seeing as how I've recovered everything I can and am going to just move on - and back up more often. ;-)
Apple and Mail need to rewrite that program to include a WARNING MESSAGE when deleting an Account in Mail that says ALL YOUR MESSAGES ARE GOING TO DISAPPEAR NEVER TO RETURN IF YOU DELETE THIS ACCOUNT, SO YOU DANG WELL BETTER HAVE A BACK UP IF YOU WANT TO KEEP ANYTHING BEFORE PRESSING THAT MINUS SYMBOL! ;-)

How to display string message real time in a string area?

I want to display string message on String indicator in screen real time, message is updating realtime when test application runing, i want to see the newest message display on screen real time instead of by drag down the vertical scroll bar manually.
please give me an idea how to set the attribute of string indicator?thanks

You can use Text.ScrollPosition property node for autoscrolling.

Filing Sent Messages with Original Email

I am looking for a way to quickly (script or built-in feature) file all my sent messages automatically into the folder where the rest of the 'incoming' messages have been stored.
Important to note - I do not use rules - I file all my e-mails manually into various clients and projects file and would like to find a way to have the sent messages pulled into these same message folders.
I would really like to avoid sorting the 5,000 + e-mails manually - any help is appeciated!

define thread. there should be some way top tell a message what to look for. if you are moving messages from inbox around by hand there is no way to do that.

IDoc not getting processed in Real Time job

The configurations are done as per the below link to receive iDoc from SAP in BODS.
How to Receive IDOC in BODS from SAP (Outbound to SAP)
An iDoc is sent and Real Time Services on management console shows that request is received successfully. But I cannot see output xml file created. When I checked the real time services and client interfaces, I could see all are in green.
But the real time job status shows its in running state. It has been in running state for 2 days. Trace shows as below. There is no error message.

Try to reimport the metadata of IDOC into PI in idx2. Also check the port definition in ECC and whether the segment is released or not. Please go through the below discussions it may help you.

Why can't I see all my "Sent" messages in webmail?

I've gone to My Settings/Mail/Save Sent Messages numerous times and have selected the radio button "save". Yet, when I go to look at my sent mail in webmail I can only see some of the sent messages. I think it may be the ones sent via webmail and does not include messages sent from my verizon email account hard-wired at home (DSL). I'm using Windows Mail on a Vista computer.
How can I configure my account to see ALL sent messages when using webmail?

Any mail you send from a pop3 client will not appear in your webmail Sent folder. If you want all of your sent messages to appear in webmail, then you have to send all of your messages from webmail.

Receiving the error message while executing the Real Time DTP

I am receiving the error message while executing the Real time DTP for Billing data.
Error Message - Record filtered in advance as error records with the same key exist RSM2 722
When I check the logs below is the message I am able to see. Can someone suggest as how to proceed further.
Diagnosis
The existing DTP requires a serialized update because fields are updated
non-commutatively during the processing run (for example, MOVE).
Therefore all new data records that have the same semantic key as
incorrect records that have not yet been corrected in earlier requests
or earlier data packages of the same request, are filtered out after the
extraction in a special step. In this way the system ensures that
incorrect data records are not repeated for your changes, which may not
contain errors themselves.

The data record is not updated but is written to an error stack.

I checked the error stack and corrected the entries and let me know as how to proceed further. I am unable to execute the Error DTP as its not allowing me to edit and has only display options.

What you say about Send Later timestamp is correct.
When you click Send or Send Later a time is set regardless of when you actually sent the Send Later email.

CC&B not populating response to real-time Outbound Message

I have a real-time Outbound Message which is sent to webMethods via SOAP with the HTTP Sender (not RTHTTPSNDR). In my BO Schema, I have the response element defined as:

The Outbound Message is successfully sent and the webMethods response updates the message to 'Complete' but there is no data in the response tab on the Outbound Message in CC&B. For my testing, I simply want a single element of <status> populated in the response.

can i know what type of invocation type you are using in external system
If you use RTHTTPSNDR on xai sender then you must use invocation type as realtime on externalsystem( you can define xsl for both request and response)
If you use HTTPSNDR then you must use invocation type as XAI (for which you can define a request xsl but not response xsl)
so my advice is to go with RTHTTPSNDR and define both request and response xsl files
MOST Important your xai sender never gets refreshed unless you restart your ccb server this is because invocation is REALTIME
if you use HTTPSNDR then just by going to xai command you can refresh mpl refresh sender command
I think its a bug in ccb 2.3.1 sender doesnt gets refreshed with new values
Now for the purpose if you can post your request schema and then the request xsl and the response xsl ,ill clear your doubt happily.

lots of people seem to be havgin a problem sending email from iCloud webmail.
does your email address have uppercase characters in it?
if so, try creating an alias in lowercase (go to preferences in iCloud webmail and select 'accounts') and see if email sends okay from that

Sent messages gone from Time Machine

I posted this on the Time Machine forum and they sent me here. I have several issues, one of which is Mail going offline frequently throughout the day when I have not instructed it to do so, and refusing to go on-line when I request it. I have to close the program, reopen it, and it's back on-line. A few minutes later, it's offline again. I read in the Discussions to trash the prefs and re-enter all my account info. I didn't get that far because as soon as I trashed the prefs all my Sent mails were gone. I went into Time Machine to retrieve them and they aren't there. I've tried rebuilding the Mailboxes, no go. I also dragged the prefs out of the Trash and put them back. Still nothing. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong and where my e-mails went? Thanks.

This issue sounds suspiciously similar to my recent post ... Mail 4.2 is "deleting" all of my downloaded POP Inbox and Sent messages older than 30 days and these are not available in my Time Machine either.
I was always able to access old messages well beyond 30 days (even 2 years old) but now it appears that the only things left are the headers in those mail boxes. I just noticed this this week.

For the past week I have not been able to send both simple and attached messages through my icloud e-mail.
The error reads: this message cannot be sent at this time. i have the latest version of Firefox, I have even changed my password in hopes that this would resolve the issue, but alas, it hasn't worked. HELP!

Since you have mentioned ECC5.0,Assuming that the client is generating the following reports in ECC,already:
The Production report (ZPRD)
Wastage Report (YWR)
A Charge Register Report
then brainstorm the PP functional consultant and try to pick the R3 Fields from the reports.Then its all about mapping them to the BW Info objects.
If these reports are not maintained at ECC ,then you need to have sessions with the users/PP Consultant to decide whether u can go ahead with BC or get some customizing done..

Real Time Job with no Message Target?

Hi All. I'm curious to know if anyone has built a real time job without an xml message target. I thought that any message source 'getting' from a Topic does not require a response. Well data services is not letting me get away with not having the message target.
The message I'm receiving is one that I want to insert into a table, it is not being used in a lookup to then send out a new record out to a message target.
Real Time jobs are still a new concept to me. Thanks in advance for your help.

Try using a row generation transform, generate one row and pass a hard coded value as output message. You cannot do away with an output message in the case of real time.
